HAVE A LITTLE FAITH IN ME(Part 5)

"Usako are you alright?",Mamoru asked and looked up at his wife who 
was sitting on top of him as he laid on the couch.Three days ago the 
Senshi had explained why they had come back and since then Usagi had 
managed to smile for them.They were weak smiles though,not the usual
ear to ear grins he loved.Mamoru could read her like a book,it showed 
in her face.He could see how sad she was.Being SailorMoon 
was an exciting job but Usagi longed for the simple life.The life she 
had for just a short while.Mamoru had done everything to cheer her up.
He had Makoto make all of Usagi's favorite foods but she had merely 
picked at it.Then he asked Minako to take her shopping,cost was no 
problem,but Usagi trudged to the mall,a solemn look on her face.They 
all tried but nothing brought a smile on her face except when Rei 
brought Sonya over.Usagi was all smiles and cheerily cooed at the 
bouncing baby.
"Of course I am",she said busily ripping a stem off a cherry.He frowned
at how roughly she yanked at the stem.Tossing it into Mamoru's mouth,
she reached into the bowl which was placed on his stomach."What makes
you think something's wrong?"
"Well judging by the fact that you're having no mercy on those poor 
cherry stems,I'd say you're angry",he said and she continued on with 
her routine until Mamoru grabbed both her hands.She looked up at him 
surprised by his roughness,he released her.Usagi's hands sank to her 
sides."Now are you gonna tell me what's going on or are you gonna wait
until those cherries are crying for mercy till you tell me?" Usagi
looked down trying to hide her tears.She couldn't for Mamoru lifted her
chin and they fell down her cheeks in a melanchonly dance.
"It's not fair,you know",she said and took the bowl off his stomach.She
laid her head against his chest.He stroked her soft hair soothingly.
"Right when we had the perfect life something comes along and ends it.
I finally see everyone and it's because of some death threat.All
my life,I've wanted the simple things.A career,a husband,nice apartment,
some kids.Fate however seems to be throwing the opposite of that.Why
must we always fight?I only wanted a couple of peaceful years before
the whole Crystal Tokyo thing.At least then I would've been ready,but 
no.I'm destined to always fight as Sailor Moon.I'll never live my life 
as regular old Usagi Tsukino Chiba" She sighed and held him tighter.He
made her lay her chin on his hard chest so he could look in her lovely
eyes."I'm sorry I'm so selfish" He shook his head,she was far from
selfish.
"Usako,that's what we're fighting for.That peaceful life you've yearned 
for" He looked at her earnestly and stroked her head."No one said it'd
be easy getting it though.I know it seems as if we're always fighting
but these fights are just the bumps we have to go through.Once we get
past them,we'll have peace.We'll have eternity.And we'll have it 
TOGETHER" Mamoru touched her creamy cheek which had a few tearstains
but she was still enchanting nonetheless."Think of that when you fight.
Just remember that I'm always right behind you.We will fight together 
cause only the Gods know how much I want you to have everything
you've wanted and deserved.So don't think you're alone,you have
your friends,you have ME.I love you and I refuse to see you unhappy.If
I have to kill a million monsters I will just to see that beautiful
smile again"
"I love you.I'm sorry I've been so down" She flashed him a 
breathtaking smile and got off of him.Pulling Mamoru up Usagi led
him to the kitchen."Now where are those leftovers?"

"So do you think this is the right place to start training?",Haruka 
asked surveying the huge forest.Tall trees covered the sunlight making
it shady,perfect for hiding.The others were setting up a picnic while
Raye and Haruka decided to look around.
"It's perfect!",Rei said and put a hand on her hip.She smiled broadly
and looked at the wind blow the leaves in small tornadoes.Walking back
they saw that a large blanket was spread out.Minako and Makoto were 
looking in the picnic basket making sure the food was still good
while Ami and Greg played with Sonya who was laughing happily as
he lifted her in the air.Ami held a nursery rhyme book in her hands.
"If I didn't know better I'd think she's your guys baby",Haruka 
commented jokingly. The two turned deep red and Ami buried her face 
bashfully in Greg's shoulder.Sonya crawled over to Taiki who was 
laying down on the ground,hands behind his head.Needless to say he 
wasn't happy as Sonya crawled on his stomach and plopped down on it.
Taiki grimaced trying to hide his fear of babies.
"You're a natural born daddy",Yaten said laughing."I don't know if 
you noticed but she's drooling all over you" He pointed as Sonya put 
her fist in her mouth,drops of drool falling on his shirt.
"GET HER OFF ME!",Taiki yelled."She's ruining a very expensive shirt!"
Sonya began to cry loudly and Hotaru who was sitting nearby picked her 
up.The young girl swung the infant around making her squeal.Mirichu
handed her a bottle and Hotaru began to feed Sonya who eyes began to
closed immediately.Taiki looked at her in amazement."How'd you do that?"
"Screaming at her didn't help",she responded and put Sonya in her 
stroller.
"Also who would wear such an expensive shirt when they go to the 
woods?" Seiya asked walking into the forest clearing.He settled
next to his brother."So who's missing still?"
"Why Odango and her hubby,of course",Rei said frowning and checked
her watch."Late.As always."
"Actually we're only late by one minute Rei",Usagi said and stuck out 
her tongue."So ha-ha" She walked swiftly over to the picnic basket to
see what was in it."Chicken!" Usagi grabbed a drumstick but Makoto 
slapped her hand."Ouch" She let go unwillingly and pouted.Skipping
to her husband she put an arm around his waist.She wrapped 
her long legs around one of his and leaned against him.Mamoru
licked his lips thinking how wonderfully sexy his wife was.'I'm
one lucky man' Usagi wore white shorts and hawaiian print halter
top making him wish they were alone.He wasn't the only one thinking
it.Seiya looked at her adoringly,making him think things that
shouldn't have even crossed his mind.
"Let's get started",Minako said standing up."We'll start by having
a sort of hide and seek game.I want half of you to be wearing blindfolds 
and the other half to be wearing ear plugs.Each of you must try to 
capture one another.If you want you can prevent yourself from being 
captured by fighting whoever your opponent is"
"Don't the people who have the earplugs have more power over the 
blindfolded people?",Mamoru asked.
"No because though they can see,they can't hear if anyone is walking 
behind them or following them but people who are blindfolded don't
know if anyone is near them.They have to depend on their hearing
while the people with earplugs have to depend on their sight",Mina
explained.
"Who invented this game anyway?",Usagi asked curiously.
"Mina did",Makoto said proud of her friend.Mina blushed graciously 
though she was beaming inside.
"Great idea",Rei said.
"Yeah very smart of you Minako",Yaten said quietly from where he sat 
and looked at her for a moment.To Minako it seemed forever but he 
quickly shook his head clearing the look in his eyes.
"Ready?",she asked and everyone nodded.Picking up a box she held it 
out to everyone."Close your eyes and pick" 
"Yes!I got the earplugs!",Usagi squealed and jumped.Haruka,Makoto,
Hotaru and Minako also got pairs of earplugs while Mamoru,Rei,Setsuna,
Ami,and Mirichu got blindfolds.Usagi looked at the three other 
boys,perplexed."Why aren't you guys training with us?"
"You see Odango,when we asked to come back,we made a deal",Seiya 
explained and Usagi knelt down to listen."If we came back,we'd have
to give up our powers and just be regular humans.We agreed and so here
we are.Now that this whole new enemy has come to earth,I'm glad we
came back so we could help"
"I'm glad too",Usagi said and his heart melted when she gave him
a brilliant smile making her vibrant eyes light up.He felt a stab
in his heart for his one desire in this life would never be his.
Seiya knew that she was the one woman who would ever light his soul 
on fire.She was unaware,of course and if Mamoru knew,he'd mangle Seiya.
'I'll keep quiet.They don't need anymore problems'
"Thanks",he said and softly punched her arm.She got up where the others
were getting ready to begin.
"Taiki,you better watch my baby",Raye said.
"WHY ME?!",he moaned loudly.
"Cause she likes you and if you make her cry I'll personally kick your 
ass",she told him and Taiki swallowed the lump of fear in his throat.
"Yes ma'am",he answered and gave her a mock salute.She had to laugh in
spite of herself.
"Okay everyone split up and in five minutes start looking",Mina told
everyone and looked at her watch."Ready,set,go!"

Usagi walked steadily through the forest and occasionally she'd throw
glance over her shoulder.Quietly she continued to search and the hairs
in the back of her neck began to rise.Someone was coming.Usagi stopped
abruptly and stood straight.Why was she getting such a bad vibe?
'Keep calm and attack before whoever it is can' Quickly she turned and
found herself face to face with Nephrus.Fear and anger chilled her
insides.So she did the only thing she could do.

She screamed.

Mirichu gasped when she heard Usagi screamed and quickly tried
to find her.However she failed to remember that she wore a blindfold
and was swiftly reminded when she ran smack dab into a tree.
"Ouch" She rubbed her head unaware that Haurka was approaching her.
"Mirichu",she said and a frightened Mirichu whirled around smacking
Haruka."Damn it!"
"I'm sorry sweetie!" Mirichu rubbed her lover's head apologetically.
"But did you hear that?"
"WHAT!",Haruka yelled for she hadn't taken off her earplugs.Mirichu
groaned and removed them for her.
"Usagi is in trouble!",she said and walked quickly ahead of her.
"Nephrus?",Haruka asked and Mirichu nodded,a light of fear in
her eyes.

"You're back",Usagi said standing inches away from Nephrus.She stilled
her breath and tightened her fist."The Senshi are here,they heard
me scream" She was seriously doubting this,half of them were in 
earplugs and the others probably thought she was probably caught by 
one of the Senshi.It couldn't hurt to bluff,would it? She knew she 
just had to distract him till someone came,but how? "What do you want?"
"Well having you as MY queen would be a delight" He gave her malevolent 
smile and inched towards her.Usagi cringed and tried to move but he
quickly grabbed her chin moving him towards him.Their lips were inches
from touching,he could practically smell her fear.He liked that.She was
helpless which made her even sexier."I thought of nothing but you for 
the last few days.Did anyone ever tell you how irresistible you are?"
He put a hand on the side of her thigh.
"Keep your hands off" She pulled his hand away from her leg.Her anger
rose as he laughed at her.'This guy is such a JERK!Where is everybody?'
She looked over his shoulder to see if anyone was coming and a streak
of panic hit her when she realized how much trouble she was in.
"What if I don't?",he challenged and she realized the danger of the 
situation.His eyes had omnious light and she prayed to God he didn't
bring his knife.
"Than you answer to us",Haruka said from behind Nephrus.She hoped it
wasn't too late.The two had transformed and made their way over,eager 
to help their princess.Nephurs turned around to see Sailor Uranus and
Sailor Neptune standing in front in him angrily.
"I don't believe my father got to meet you two",he said cynically.
"Your father?",Usagi asked.
"Yeah Jedite",he said a queer sound to his voice."I never met him.My 
mother told me he was an idiot,she only needed him to have me"
"We're not here to listen to your family history",Mirichu said coldly
and went into a fighting stance."Fight or leave"
"Why fight you?All I want is HER dead,that is after I've had my way 
with her",he said and looked at Usagi who stood bravely.Her eyes glared 
at him defiantly and Nephrus chuckled.Did she think he couldn't see 
through her brave looking facade?Leaning near her he whispered in her
ear."I'll be back for you,no matter how many of these damn bodyguards 
you have"
"If you get near me or any of my friends I'll personally slit your 
throat",Usagi said angrily and suddenly kneed him making him fall to 
ground."One thing you haven't figured out,I ALWAYS fight back" As
he groaned on the floor,he began to disappear until it was just the
three.
"We better go find the others",Haruka said detranforming and putting a
comforting arm around a shaken Usagi.Mirichu joined them and took 
Haruka's hand.She looked up at them and her voice quivered.
"I can practically hear Rei yelling about how stupid I am...."

"How could you be so STUPID!",Rei yelled at Usagi who sat down
on a bench,her head bowed.Tears threatened to sting her eyes.She knew
that Rei meant well and was just worried,but she had a crappy way of
showing it."You knew you were being threatened and you were dumb enough
to not bring your tranformation locket!" Usagi could feel her anger 
rising.
"Don't call me STUPID REI!" Getting up she went to her friend's face 
and began to yell just as loudly.She poked a finger in Rei's chest.
"YOU aren't me,YOU don't know how it feels to have your life threatened
,to stay up at night in fear that someone's gonna kill you in your 
sleep.I'm sorry I'm don't live up to your standards!Right now I feel 
like I'm not even living up to my own so please stop condemning me!I'm 
pretty much doing that myself!" Everyone watched in disbelief at her 
outburst and Usagi looked at the ground grinding the tip of her toe into 
the dirt.When she looked up her eyes were glistening with unshed tears 
and Rei regretted her words."You're suppose to be my best friend and 
I'd appreciate if instead of yelling at me,you could just plain stop 
talking to me"Without another word she rushed out leaving them in a 
shocked state.The sun began to set and they all knew that Usagi 
shouldn't be by herself but they didn't feel it was right to impose 
on her.Mamoru glared at Rei who looked as if she was going to cry.
"I'm sorry Mamoru",she said looking at the path Usagi had ran off from.
"I'm was just so scared and I don't know how tell her that
without yelling" Her eyes were watery and she clenched her fist tight.
"Don't apologize to me,Rei",he said in quiet anger.Mamoru looked
at her and suddenly felt bad.She didn't mean to hurt her best friend.
Sometimes feelings are the hardest things to explain.He knew the 
feeling.Before Rei could leave,he pushed her back."I'll get her"
"PLEASE Mamoru let me",Rei said,her eyes filled with sorrow over 
hurting her best friend.He looked at her and nodded.
"Don't be too long",Mamoru smiled at her and quickly she took off.The
others watched as Rei made her way into the woods.For a moment it was
silent,the only sound were the leaves rustling and whirling through 
the breeze.
"So how much do you wanna bet that they'll be yelling within five 
minutes",Minako said from where she stood and everyone groaned.
"Come on!Have some faith in your friends!",Yaten said and got
up from the ground."I give them TEN minutes!"
"So it's a bet?",Minako wagered and gave him a breathtaking smile.
Yaten nearly over keeled over in adoration for her beauty.'Hey!Since 
when did I start feeling this way about Mina!'
"We'll shake on it!",he said and held out his hand.Without haste
Mina took it and a sudden shock went through both of them.They looked
at their hands and then up at each other.Mina saw a soft look enter
Yaten's eyes and she smiled.
"Hey I'm not missing out on this!",Makoto yelled and Yaten quickly
let go of Mina's hand as if it were on fire.Quickly everyone was
placing a bet and shoving money in Minako's hands.She however
stood in a daze trying to decipher the unfamiliar look in
Yaten's eyes.

Usagi laid on her stomach at the edge of the small boardwalk.Tears
fell into the water making small ripples.As the ripples grew they 
wrinkled her reflection in the water.She didn't even notice that Rei 
was just a few paces away from her.
"Usa,you okay?",Rei asked and sat next to her.
"Yeah,great",she answered sarcastically.Usagi looked out across the
water where two bunnies where hopping along.
"I'm sorry Usagi",Rei said in a low voice."I've been such a jerk
and few others names I'd hate to say aloud" Usagi looked up in
surprise.'Rei apologizing?What's next?Me not eating?' Rei fiddled
with her fingers and sighed."I was just scared"
"Scared?You?",Usagi said and sat up putting her feet in the water.
"Usa,you're my best friend" Rei looked at her with tears in her eyes.
"If I lost you,I don't know what I'd do" She pushed a strand of hair
from her face."I just don't want you to get hurt"
"I know you don't",Usagi answered and splashed her feet."So you wanna
go get some food?" Rei looked up and Usagi gave her best friend a 
radiant smile.Rei knew then that she had been forgiven.She smiled back 
cheerfully.
"Is that all you can think about odango?",Rei countered."Food?"
"Shut up!",Usagi yelled though she was grinning from ear to ear.
Without thought she splashed Rei and vice versa.Soon the two were
having a water fight and giggling like crazy.Rei pulled Usagi up
and they walked arm and arm towards the woods.
"Come on.Let's get something to eat and take the money that they're
all betting with",Rei said and told her friend about what she heard
as she was leaving.
"WHAT!THEY'RE BETTING ON US!",Usagi screamed."You bet I'm gonna take
that money!" Then she rolled her eyes up in thought."But what do with
it?"
"Welllll" Rei put a finger on her chin."We could put it in the bank OR
we could go shopping" They stood silent and looked at each other in 
agreement.
"SHOPPING!",they both said.

The night sky was lit with the solitary light of the crescent moon
and as Usagi sat up in bed,she knew.It was time to fight.To win or
be defeated.A calm fell over her as she looked up at the moon,her 
delicate profile gazing up at the sky.Looking over to her side,Usagi 
saw Mamoru sleeping peacefully.His strong,handsome face had a calm,
content look,it was almost childlike.She bit her lip.Why was she so 
nervous?Afterall they had battles all the time.They always won,good 
will always win.However the calm that spread over city would be 
destroyed,broken by a battle.They knew nothing about Nephrus.Ami 
tried to find  something but got a blank.Even Setsuna couldn't predict
or didn't want to tell.She got up and walked over to the window.She 
knelt before it and rested her arms on the window's edge.'Mother help 
me' This was the only prayer she'd make.Only fate would lay out the 
rest.Going over to the bed Usagi shook Mamoru.
"Mamo-chan",she whispered and he gave her a loud groan.
"NOT NOW USAKO",he said sleepily."I'm too tired to fool around" She 
stifled a laugh while she quickly pulled a sheet from under him 
and throwing Mamoru off the bed.He sat up,peering at her from the 
floor."What was that for?!"
"It's time,Mamo-chan",she simply stated and he looked at her,unaware
of what she meant.He looked in her eyes,seeing her fear.Then he 
realized what she meant.
"I'll call everyone to get ready since we don't have our 
communicators",he said."Remind me to tell Ami about that" 
"Mamo-chan",she called out as he was about to leave."I love you"
"Why are you saying this now?" Something was telling him that she was
afraid they'd lose.He walked over to her and cupped her chin.She 
swallowed realizing that everytime she looked at him,it was like
falling for him all over again.
"I don't know",she said."I just wanted to say it...in case"
"There is no in case",he answered and looked in her deep blue eyes.
"I'm glad you told me though.I love you,Usako" He kissed her lightly.
"But you can SHOW me you love me after we win this fight"

The shadows of nine women and a man in a Tuxedo covered the sidewalk
of the park.Looking around Usagi realized that this was the same park
she had met Seiya for their so called "date".It was so eerie at night.
She could feel this overwhelming sense of danger but it was so deathly
quiet that she wondered if she could be wrong.
"It's too quiet here",Minako said and shivered.Why did they have such 
short skirts? She hoped she remembered to shave her legs.
"I'm so sleepy",Rei complained."Sonya kept throwing things on the
floor just so Chad would pick them up.I'm starting to believe she's
doing it just to give him more work"
"She's more like you than you think",Makoto said and chuckled.Rei 
scowled but laughed anyways.Sonya was like her,they especially
harbored a strong love for Chad.They both showed it in strange ways
though.
"Where is he?",Haruka growled."He better get here soon.Why did he have
to pick now?Right when me and Mirichu were about to-"
"HARUKA!",Mirichu interupted and whacked her in the ribs.
"Right when we were about to...",Haruka thought quickly."to EAT!I'm 
so hungry" She winked at Mirichu and saw her blush.
"Yeah hungry",Minako whispered in Makoto's ear.The laughed loudly but 
stopped when Haruka glared at them.Usagi suddenly halted and she felt 
someone run a finger down her back.He was here.Mamoru looked at her 
and could see her tense up.
"Don't touch me",she whispered and tightened her fist.
"What are you talking about?",Makoto asked in fear.
"She's talking about me",Nephrus answered appearing behind Usagi.He
put his mouth near her ear and touched her arm."You have a choice.
We can fight or you can just come with me and I will forget all
about killing you.I'll even spare you friends.As for your husband..."
He threw a disgusted look at Mamoru."...I'll think about it.Take a
pick your life or your friends" Usagi turned around and faced him 
fearlessly.She knew her decision.Taking a breath she began to step
forward and Rei interjected.
"We'll fight",she said,her eyes blazing."We're not afraid"
"Rei!No-",Usagi yelled.
"YES",Minako answered and squeezed Usagi's shoulders."You are
the future queen of Crystal Tokyo.You are needed more than we are.
If we have to fight to keep you alive than it wasn't in vain.If we
don't survive than we're happy that our last moments were protecting
our friend" Minako looked at her with a confidence but inside she
was thinking that if something happened she'd never get to do a lot
of things.Or ever revealed her deepest feelings.'Yaten...'
"We won't have to worry about losing",Mamoru said and took Usagi's
hand squeezing it hard."We NEVER lose.We're strong and as the future
king I say we all get it over with.Let's beat this jerk" Usagi looked
up at him admiration.He was such a strong person,he gave her faith.
"We're fighting",Usagi said and gave the man a triumphant smile.
"Good luck against us.We're quite the fighters"
"Ah yes.This I know." He snapped his fingers and dozens of youma rose 
from the ground.There dagger-like claws attempted to slice the air and
their slimy skin looked as if it was inside out.Pinkish and oozing of 
some unknown substance."Take your pick.These or..." He snapped his 
fingers and the youmas instantly vanished.They were replaced by tall
men that resembled ninjas made of putty.Their faces were almost 
nonexistent,small sunken eyes and no mouths."These" He smiled at them
knowing that these were his best warriors,unbeatable."Or how 'bout...
BOTH" He snapped his fingers,the youmas all appeared surrounding
the Senshi.All of them stood straight but inside let out a disgusted
shiver.
"Looks likes one of my blind dates",Minako said looking at the putty 
ninjas as she put her fist up."Probably has the personality like him 
too" The fighting began and like lightning they all sprang to action 
using their fists and high kicks as defense.They all knew that if they
used their powers their energy would be drained quickly leaving 
defenseless and open to being captured.Nephrus stood in smug 
satisfaction,his arms crossed.Out of his pocket he pulled out a
long vial full of a red blood-like liquid.Taking his knife he
dipped it in the vial and it was quickly absorbed by it.He looked
up and saw that SailorMoon fought only a few feet away.One half
was aching for her,while the other desire to kill her.This side
at the moment was taking over.He walked swiftly unnoticed and soon
he was behind Usagi just as she kicked a youma.Nephrus grabbed her
shoulder and turned her around.The knife pointed at her heart.
"With this knife I will grant my mother's greatest wish",he whispered
in her ear."I will kill Sailormoon" She inhaled quickly and let out
a shaky breath.'Is this it?Am I going to die?' A calm blanketed her
fear and she looked up at him with a inner light of strength shining
through her eyes.Her face was smoothly placid.
"Do what you must.But remember:What goes around comes around",she 
voiced strongly,her head held up."I'm not afraid of you.You'll end up 
just like your mother.DEAD!" She yelled her last words with dripping 
hatred and without thought he slapped her hard.Her cheek was bruised 
but she kept her head up.Usagi saw that he was preparing to kill her 
and as the knife began to near her body,her whole lifetime flashed 
before her.She bid goodbye to everyone and as the tip of knife began 
to hit her chest,Usagi was pushed aside.'Mamo-chan...TRANSFORM!'

The knife slowly descended into Mamoru's chest and Ami knew that it
was the end.Then the miraculous happened.Tuxedo Mask was suddenly 
changed into Endymion.How'd it happen? She recalled what had happened 
minutes ago.As Usagi was pushed aside,she had hit her head against a
tree but before she went unconcious she had yelled aloud.What had
she said again...transform.Ami realized that their link allowed them
to do a lot of things including helping the other transform.'But why?'
She stood frozen seeing the two lying on the ground,Usagi sprawled
next to the tree.Her heart ached realizing how stupid they had 
been,they were destined to protect her but they had failed.SHE had 
failed.Amilooked over at Mamoru who was laying in pain,Haruka was 
trying to pulled him up.The youmas were edging closer to them.
"Everyone combine our powers.Together we could equal Sailormoon's 
power",Rei yelled.
"MARS FLAME SNIPER"
"MERCURY AQUA RHASPODY"
"JUPITER OAK EVOLUTION"
"VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK"
"DEEP SUBMERGE"
"WORLD SHAKING"
"DEAD SCREAM"
"SILENCE WALL"
A ball of light gathered and like lightning it expoloded.The 
combination of their power spread through the circle of youmas around 
them.A flame surrounded each until it was only a pile of ashes.Nephrus 
in anger vanished quickly.He had missed and got the Tuxedo idiot.In 
spite of his anger,he feared the wrath of the Senshi.Such cowardness.
His mother would probably think he was more like his father.He vanished 
without a word but Makoto looked up to see him leave and Nephrus 
flashed her a triumphant smile.She got up angrily and began to yell 
curses in the air.
"COME BACK HERE!COME BACK HERE AND FIGHT,YOU MAMA'S BOY WUSS!",Makoto 
screamed rushing around and yelling into the night sky.She was only 
greeted by silence and in a fit of weakness fell to her knees.Minako 
walked to her and put a hand on her shoulder.Rei who at that moment 
was the calmest carried her best friend,she refused to cry.There were 
somethings that you just had to do alone.

"So why did Usagi make him transform?",Rei asked Ami as they sat by
Mamoru's bedside.Usagi laid in the guest room of the Chiba apartment.
"Well when Mamoru or Usagi transform into Endymion and Serenity,their
defenses are stronger",she explained and looked at a picture that was
place on the dresser.Mamoru and Usagi's wedding picture."She did it
because she was sure he would be protected" Ami realized how much 
Usagi loved him and he loved her.She looked at Rei with tired eyes."I 
was scanning Mamoru and I found something intresting"
"What is it?Is there something wrong?",Rei asked concerned.She 
remembered her schoolgirl crush on him but when he and Usagi
got involved it had turned into sisterly love for him.He was
the closest thing she had to a brother and Usagi was like a 
sister.
"The knife was dipped in poison",Ami said with a tragic sigh."It was
strong enough to kill us all in seconds.However when Usagi made him 
transform she was able to neutralized the poison to reduce it's 
affects"
"Can I have that in normal people language,please?",Rei said annoyed.
"By transforming,Mamoru's defenses allowed him to not get killed",she
explained on easier terms."The problem is that the poison runs 
in Mamoru's blood but he won't die when he detransforms"
"What are the effects of it being in his blood?" Rei glanced over
at Mamoru who was still in his armor.
"I don't know yet",Ami responded when Minako walked in.
"Hey you guys The Lights are here",she said and Rei walked out to
greet them.Ami looked at Mamoru and was surprised when she saw that
he had detransformed himself.He now laid in his pajamas.A groan
came to his lips.
"Mamoru,are you awake?",she asked and he opened his eyes.There
was something different about him though.His eyes were so blank.
Lifeless almost.He sat up quickly.
"Ami,why is it so dark?" Darkness enveloped him and blinked a
few times to clear his vision.It remained black.
"What are you talking about?",Ami said in surprise.The light of the 
moon shone through the room making it easy to see.Suddenly something 
chilled her bones."Mamoru...what color dress am I wearing?" He would 
clearly see the bright yellow dress she wore.
"I...I..I don't know",he said nervously and touched his eyes.He was 
sure his eyes were open but why couldn't he see?"Oh my god,Ami.What's 
wrong with me?Is it what I'm thinking?" Water began to fill his dark 
eyes.
"I don't know",she said softly,tears in her eyes.For once she was 
utterly clueless.
