HAVE A LITTLE FAITH IN ME(Part 7)

Makoto sighed to herself and stretched her long legs as she
laid on her couch.She couldn't help but be worried about Usagi.
After all lately Usagi just wasn't Usagi anymore.The rained poured
steadily outside and she got up to pull her blinds down.Usagi had
changed,she was downcast,darker.Her eyes were silent,shut off to the
outside world and her face was as pale as a porcelain doll,the scary 
kind.Hotaru had told her that Usagi had been sneaking out at late hours
of the night.Makoto's mind drifted back to last week....
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\(One week earlier)
Makoto walked steadily making sure her steps were quiet.Ahead of her 
was Usagi trotting through the dark streets as if nothing was wrong.
She was oblivious to the fact that Makoto was only a few paces away 
from her and continued on until they had a reached a forest,the same 
one they had trained in only weeks ago.In a small clearing Usagi 
finally stopped and Makoto watched as Usagi began to practice different 
karate moves.She was training hard,Makoto could see the beads of sweat 
on her forehead.Usagi began to practice high kicks and did several 
impressive flips.She never knew her friend had such stamina 
and perseverance.But why did she only start to show this now?
Suddenly the sound of Usagi grunting loudly caught her attention and 
she peered out more to observe what she was doing.Makoto gasped when 
she saw that Usagi was ruthlessly punching a tree as if it was a 
beanbag or something.She watched as Usagi punched harder and harder 
until blood began to run from her knuckles.Her hands looked so swollen 
and raw from where she stood.Then Usagi began to cry,not loud high 
pitched wails or the heartbreakingly sad sobs they had heard only 
recently but quiet slow crystal tears.Tears that augmented with the 
sweat on her melancholy face.Her eyes were cold,though the warm tears 
fell from them and stained her face.Makoto had enough of seeing her 
in pain.
"Usagi,what are you doing?",Makoto asked and stepped out from behind 
the tree she had hid at.Usagi turned,her hair whipping around.Her pain
filled face relaxed a little and returned to her normal,serene look.
"Ma-Ma-Makoto!Did you follow me here?",she asked shakily and her 
hands dropped to her side.Blood poured swiftly from them but Usagi 
paid no notice.
"Yes and it's a good thing I did" She went to Usagi and grabbed her 
wrist.The thick scarlet blood dripped on her but Makoto didn't care.
"Why are you doing this?!" Usagi yanked her arm away so quickly she 
almost broke it in the process.
"I'm just training,in case.I'm fine.",she stated and walked to a tote 
bag she brought along.Inside she grabbed a roll of gauze and bandaged 
herself up."See,all better" 
"That was NOT training,Usa.That was torture",Makoto said angrily.
Inside waves of worry churned inside.How could she do that and make 
such a small deal out of it?This was not their Usagi,she was not the 
girl who would trip over herself and cry like a child."How could you 
hurt yourself like that?!Are you insane?"
"A small price to pay",she said simply.
"You never answer my question!" Makoto grabbed her friend by her 
shoulders and looked in her eyes,they looked so sad and downtrodden.
"WHY?!"Usagi's eyes watered and she looked up at her friend.
"Because I am just so angry Mako.I have to get it out somehow before
I do go insane",she said in a choked whisper."It gets my mind off 
Mamo-chan.I have to train and fight that jerk.Don't you see?I have to 
get him.I HAVE TO GET THE BASTARD WHO DID WHAT HE DID TO MAMO-CHAN!"
She stopped in the middle of her yelling and looked at her friend
who was standing near her.The tears in her blue eyes were on the verge 
of spilling. "It doesn't matter whether I get hurt or not.Mamo-chan 
doesn't even want to be near me,this is the only way I can show him 
how much I love him and I don't blame him for not wanting me" 
Makoto wiped her eyes and hugged her friend tightly.She never knew
how devoted Usagi was.
"I'm not against you training but not like this",Makoto told her."If 
you want to keep on training though than I'll help you.Okay?"
Usagi nodded and gave her a soft,sad smile."Sure Mako.Just don't tell 
anyone what you saw,okay?" Her eyes pleaded earnestly and Makoto 
reluctantly nodded.Though somewhere in the back of her mind,a alarm
sounded off.
"Okay Usa.I won't tell..."

Makoto shot up when the sound of her doorbell broke through her 
thoughts.Groaning she got up and swiftly opened the door to see
a handsome,dark-haired man holding a bouquet of wildflowers.Without
thinking she threw her arms around him and the two kissed passionately.
When they withdrew from one another,Makoto smiled warmly at him.
"Ken",she said softly.During her time in cooking school Makoto and
him had wrote constantly to one another.In time their relationship
grew and even led to a visit from Ken.Needless to say by the end of
his visit they knew more about each other then they expected.Also that
very week she wrote Minako and thanked her profusely for the emerald
nighty she had given her.
"The one and only",he said and took her hand.Sitting on the couch he
held her tightly and kissed her forehead softly.
"How long have you been here?",she asked.Ken had gone to Boston and
had gotten a degree in business.He was currently working for some
company,she couldn't remember which.During his last visit they didn't
spend much time talking.
"A day.That's all time I could take without seeing my favorite 
girl",Ken said and winked at her."So what's been going on?" She 
lowered her head and her eyes misted.Ken lifted her chin and wiped the 
corners of Makoto's eyes."What's wrong?"
"There was an accident.Mamoru's blind",she said sadly."He got 
angry at Usagi and they've been seperated" He rubbed her head and 
she tightened her hold on him."She's at Haruka and Mirichu's place 
but Ken she's changed so much" Makoto quickly told him about the
incident in the woods with Usagi.
"That's horrible",he said shaking his head."Listen here.Tommorrow night
I'm gonna cook you dinner" She laughed pushing her hair back.
"You cook?Chef Boyardee or Campbell's soup?",she asked with a smile.
He tickled her by kissing her neck softly.
"A real meal this time.I won't even order it and pretend I cooked 
it like last time.In fact I'll cook in front of you",Ken told her.
"So say you'll come,please?"
"I don't know...",she said uncertainly.This was coming from a guy who
burned jello.Plus Makoto had to help locate Nephrus and take care of
Usagi.
"Mako,you need a break.Come on,say yes",he pleaded and she couldn't 
resist.He was just too cute.A regular Adonis.
"Okay",Makoto agreed and he kissed her full on the lips.
"I've got to go",he said and got up pulling her up with him."Got to
find me a hotel unless you want me to stay here" He wrapped his arms
around her waist and drew closer to him.
"Not tonight",she told him and pushed him gently to the door.
"Tommorrow...maybe" Makoto gave him a sly smile as he walked out
but not before she grabbed him for a kiss.As Ken left he turned and 
saw Makoto smiling at him.In that moment he didn't know what to say.She
looked an angel standing at that doorway.Then he remembered something
he had wanted to say to Makoto for a long time.
"I love you",he said leaving a very shocked Makoto behind.

"Rei that feels so good",Chad moaned and Rei smiled wickedly.She 
usually didn't do this often since they had Sonya to take care of
but well Chad really needn't it.
"Glad to help baby",she said and kissed him.He moaned again and Rei
laughed.She was amazed at how he was pleased so easily.Suddenly she
stopped and release him."Okay my turn" With that he turned around
and she stuck her foot in his face.He grimaced but began to massage.
After all she had to massage his back,it was her turn!Speaking
of feet,she needn't a pedicure.Times had been busy for the two but 
somehow they managed.Rei's grandfather had died awhile ago,in
his sleep.Rei was glad he didn't suffered and had a long,full life.
Ever since then she and Chad had taken over.She had left most of the
responsibility with him though when she got pregnant.These were happy 
days for her."Where's Sonya?"
"Playing with her toys",he answered when Sonya crawled in.Rei froze
when she saw what her child was chewing on.Her transformation stick.
'Oh no...'
"What do you got there Sonya?" He got and walked up to her but the 
little girl ran away quickly.They didn't know that little Sonya
was pretending her daddy was a youma.
Raising the transformation pen stretched as much as her chubby legs 
could and yelled "Mas Sta Powa!"
"Rei,did she just say Mars Star Power?",Chad asked and Rei looked at 
him surprised.Where could she have heard it?Rei thought back to when 
she had been pregnant and transformed.She said that to transform but 
now her transformation words were different.How could Sonya remember 
though?
"Of course not",she said and lifted the child up."Just baby talk" She
was amazed at how her baby's abilities had improved so quickly."I going
to give her a bath"
"Alright honey",Chad said slowly.Something was going on,Rei was keeping
something from him."Where did she get that stick?" She turned holding 
Sonya who was gleefully slobbering on Rei's tranformation pen.
"Uh-Usagi gave it to her",she said quickly and walked away.Pressing
Sonya's face close to hers Rei whispered in her ear."Sonya,are you 
trying to get momma in trouble?"
The only answer she recieved was the mischevious laugh of her baby.

Greg opened the door to the apartment he and Ami had bought.Usually
Ami would call out to him or run to the door to kiss him hello but
tonight he noticed that it was dead quiet except for the sound of
someone typing furiously.Going into the living room he saw that Ami 
was tapping into her computer obviously busy.Her hair was dishelveled
and her clothes were worn,on the table she had bunches of papers with 
different codes to try to open a gate to Nephrus's domain.She had
also made various diagrams on how to get in.She pushed her glasses up
and took a sip of coffee.
"Honey,how long have you been up?",Greg asked and kissed her head.
Looking at his watch he saw that it was almost midnight.Greg was
starting to worry about Ami,this just wasn't like her.He knew that she
was a hard worker but she never went this overboard.
"I'm fine,I've just been working on this for awhile",she said.Ami 
looked at one of her papers and typed a code in.Her efforts were 
fruitless,a loud beep told her that it was rejected.She felt her 
anger rising."DAMN IT!" Greg jumped at how furious she was.He was 
now officially sure that she was about to crack.
"Ami,get some rest" He placed his hands on her soft shoulder but she
shook it off refusing.
"NO Greg.I'm fine." She kept on typing and the same rejection beep 
sounded off.Ami cursed under breath but kept on trying.She had to do 
this for Usagi and Mamoru.She had failed them once,she would not do 
it again.The computer sounded off and she had reached her breaking 
point.In anger Ami quickly pushed everything off the table.The 
sounds of breaking glass rang through the apartment."WHY ISN'T IT 
WORKING?!" Ami collasped into tears,she covered her face in remorse
but in seconds found herself in Greg's arms.
"What's going with you?",he asked scared at what had happened.Broken 
glass was spilled on the floor along with the blanket of papers.A vase
full of flowers now laid in disarray."Why are you acting like this?"
"I have to find a way in there",she said sobbing."I am supposed to be 
Ami the Genius.I am supposed to find a solution.I messed up once,I 
can't let them all down again"
"No one expected you to do this yourself",he said."They trust in your 
abilities but they don't want you breaking down like this.It's not safe 
for you.Physically and mentally.Ami,I love you and I don't think I can 
take seeing you like this.Take a break for awhile-"
"But I have to do something to help",she argued.
"Ami,do you love me?",he asked and she was taken aback by the question.
How could he even doubt her? 'Well because you're going nuts Ami!'
"I do.I love you Greg",she said looking in his eyes.She smiled softly 
at him and he kissed her forehead.
"Then get some rest for my sake",he said to her and took her hand.
"Okay?" She nodded and he walked her to their bedroom.As she laid in 
bed he pushed the strands of hair away from her face.Fatigue swept 
over her and she felt her eyelids drooping.Ami yawned softly and Greg 
pulled a blanket over her body.
"Greg?",Ami said half awake."Why did you fall in love with me?"
He smiled at her angelic face and kissed her eyelids.
"Once upon a time",he began."A young boy moved to a new city and for 
awhile he was kind of a loner.One day however he looked across his
classroom and so a pair of the most beautiful blue eyes with just a
little tint of grey in them.They belonged to most breathtaking girl
he had ever saw.Her name was Ami" He stopped when he heard her small 
chuckle but continued with his story."Everytime he saw her he felt 
he knew her that somehow,they belonged together.Something drew 
them to one another.Perhaps destiny or fate but to the young man 
he knew that what drew him to her was love.Maybe it was too soon for 
that but he was certain that from the moment he saw her,he loved her 
and he knew without a doubt he always would"
"Thank you",she whispered softly.
"For what?",Greg asked and she touched his face.
"For loving me"

Minako dipped her foot tenatively into the cool,calm lake.The sun 
warmed her creamy face and she stretched out on the sand.She needn't to 
think.Everything had changed in so little time that Minako had not had 
a free moment.Across the lake she looked at the spot where Nephrus 
was last seen.The son of a b-
"What are you doing here?",someone asked.Minako turned around to see 
Yaten smiling at her.Damn he was cute.Yaten sat beside her and she 
kept her eyes across the lake.For once Minako had to keep her mind off 
men,there were more important things in life.
"Is this how you pick up girls?Scaring them to death?" She played 
with a strand of her buttercup yellow hair.Yaten watched longingly as 
she removed the huge red bow to let the rest of her hair down.It 
fell in a waterfall of gold.Quickly he snapped out of it though.
'Get it together!You have NO time for girls!Especially her!' Minako 
turned to see him staring at her and she laughed coyly."So what bring's 
you to this part of the park?"
"Well I felt...restless",Yaten said and nervously pushed his hair from
his face.Why did she always make him feel like this?
"I know what you mean",she answered and rested her chin on her knees.
Hugging her legs Minako sighed."All I think about is Usagi,she sits 
there sometimes just looking out at the moon and I see her cry.I 
watched those tears fall and I wish so much that I could help her.
Have you ever wanted anything so badly?" 
"Yeah",he said looking at her beautiful profile.He knew that he 
shouldn't be doing this but Yaten couldn't help it.
"What?",she asked and turned to find their mouths only inches away 
from each other.She looked into his eyes and the strange electricity 
they had been feeling ignited in them.Softly she felt his lips near 
hers...
"Minako!",Rei yelled and quickly she pushed Yaten away.Rei ran to 
them,her face flushed and sweaty.
"Rei,what's going on?",she asked concerned.
"We're having a meeting",Rei informed her and something flickered 
in her eyes."Something's wrong...with Usagi" It only took a moment 
for all three to rush to Haruka and Mirichu's.

HAVE A LITTLE FAITH IN ME(PART 7A)

In an hour everyone had assemble in Haruka and Mirichu's house.Rei 
paced around waiting for Hotaru and Ami to come down from Usagi's 
room.Finally the two came down,something foreboding in their eyes.
"Usagi,she's had what is called a mental blackout",Ami said and they 
all sat down on the floor."She's trying to cope with everything and in 
the process she just blacked out.I need to know if anyone noticed 
anything strange or different in Usagi these past weeks" Makoto bit 
her lips wondering if she should tell what she had saw only two weeks 
ago.She had promised but what happens if she gets worse?
"I know something",Makoto called out and everyone turned to look at 
her.She nervously played with her thumbs."Two weeks ago I followed 
Usagi to the woods and while she was there I saw that she was training
or something.But then she started to punch at this tree and she just 
kept on punching until...until her fists were bleeding" Tears fell on 
her face and Minako put a sisterly arm around her."I didn't know what 
to do so I stopped her and she started to cry.Then she made me promise 
not to tell.I'm sorry" She put her face in her hands.
"It's not your fault Mako",Haruka said from where she stood."We all 
knew how bad she had it but we never realized how serious it was"
"What do we do then",Mirichu asked sadly.
"We could just try talking to her",Ami said."Right now I don't know 
what to do but I'm not giving up just yet"
"I know this might not be a good idea but what if we had Mamoru talk to 
her?",Hotaru said quietly.She badly wanted to see Usagi better.
"The King is a stubborn man",Setsuna said sharply and hugged Hotaru
close to her."He might not fold so easily.We must convince him."
"May I talk to her first?",someone asked and everyone turned to see
two felines jump from ledge window to the floor.
"Artemis,Luna!",Minako yelled and hugged the two as tightly as she 
could."What are you doing here?"
"We had a feeling that you guys needed us",Artemis said and sat on the
floor.
"We have been to Mamoru and Usagi's apartment.We know what 
happened",Luna informed them sadly."Can I see her?"
"Go ahead",Mirichu said."Maybe she'll talk to you"
"I'll go with you Luna",Rei said and got up.Hotaru gave her a small 
tray.
"Try to get her to eat at least",she said."I know my food is not the 
greatest but well you know how Usagi used to be when she was hungry"
Rei gave her a taciturn smile."Yeah,used to be"

Opening the door slowly Rei walked in,Luna following her.Inside
she caught sight of the small figure sitting in a rocking chair.
Her blond hair hung straight down almost touching the floor and
her eyes were vacant,not even a spark of light shone from them.
She looked so small in her long white nightgown.'Usagi's so thin'
Luna walked slowly to her and jumped up on her lap.Purring she
licked Usagi but got no response.She didn't even moved her eyes
to acknowledged the fact that Luna was there.Usagi remained motionless
looking out the window.Rei walked to her and put the tray on the floor.
"Usagi,are you hungry?Hotaru made you something to eat" Standing she
leaned forward and looked at her friend.Nothing.She was right in front
of her but Usagi's eyes remained vacant gazing through her like a piece 
of glass.Hot tears burned Rei's eyes and she touched her friend's 
face cupping Usagi's cheek in her palm."Usagi" Her voice was hoarse 
begging for her friend to speak."Please,We need you" Rei looked down 
as the tears fell from her face."I need you"
"Rei there's nothing we can do",Luna said quietly."She has to overcome 
this herself" She nodded and wiped her tears away.Rei leaned down 
again and kissed her friend on the cheek.The two left but Rei took one 
last look at Usagi and covered her mouth to supress the loud sobs she 
kept in.

Tucking Sonya in Rei began to clean the nursery floor.Inside of her 
emotions raged and she bit her lip.Now was not the time to start 
blubbering.How many times had she scolded Usagi for crying?She wasn't
the kind of person to be a hypocrite.Throwing the toys into a wooden 
chest she stopped when she came upon a Sailormoon doll.Rei hugged it
to her chest and without thought she began to cry softly.'Stop it!
You have to be the strong one!' Quickly she stopped and wiped her
face with her shirt.
"Sometimes it's okay to cry" Looking up Rei saw that Chad stood over 
her.He lowered himself to the ground next to her and put an arm around 
Rei."I know that it's hard for you.Usagi is your best friend"
"No Chad,I supposed to be the strong one.The one who never gives up
or cries or shows weakness.Ami's the genius,Makoto's the fighter,
Minako's the flirt and I'm the brave one" She sniffed and Chad handed 
her a tissue.
"Rei in this house there's no such thing as the strong one or the weak 
one",he told her and caressed her hair."Here,we're what we wanna be.
You don't have to go and hide whatever you're feeling.In fact I don't
like seeing you acting so brave.Act like a chicken...like me" She let 
out a throaty chuckle.
"Chad it's so hard to see her like that",she exclaimed suddenly and 
before she knew it Rei was crying as she spoke."You should see 
her,there something so haunting about the way she looks.Like 
she's willingly giving up.Why won't she let me help her?" Rei sobbed 
as her husband rubbed her back and held her tight.She needed him more 
then ever.
"People sometimes go through their own personal hells and it's up to 
them to get themselves out.Right now all you can do is not give up on 
her cause once you give up she'll give up.Usagi needs you more than you 
know and I know you need her also" She inhaled the scent of his 
cologne and nodded as she hugged him.Rei realized how much she adored 
him.That he was her light.Her hope.Her love.Chad kissed the top of her 
head and for a moment there was a peaceful silence.
"Chad,one more thing",she said and he waited for her question."When 
did you get so damn smart?!"

Hotaru came down from Usagi's bedroom.In her hands an unemptied tray 
full of food.For two days Haruka,Mirichu and Hotaru had tried to coaxed 
Usagi into eating but she refused to even open her mouth or even look 
at them.They had even thought of just force feeding her but they decided 
that would be their last resort.Hotaru knew her friend was sick so she 
tried to heal her when no one was around but Usagi somehow was refusing.
So instead they tried to get her to at least sleep.Haruka moved her to
the bed and they gave her the most comfortable blankets and pillows 
they had.However all she did now was lay in bed with her eyes open.
Walking downstairs Hotaru went into the living room where Haruka and 
Mirichu were.Outside rain began to fall and thunderclouds gathered 
together.Hotaru walked to the two and sat on the coffee table in front 
of them.She could talk to them,right?After all they were like her 
parents.
"Can I asked you guys a question?",she said shyly.
"Of course Hotaru",Mirichu responded comfortingly and smiled at her.
Hotaru was like a daughter to her.
"These past few nights I've been trying to healed Usagi" Mirichu's 
smile faded and Haruka's tightened her arm around her."But so far it 
hasn't been working.What am I doing wrong?"
"Sweetie,Usagi is not physically sick.It's something else",Mirichu 
explained and took Hotaru's hand.
"What is it?",Hotaru inquired,her young eyes looking at them in 
confusion.She was sixteen but still full of innocence and naivete.
"It's something inside of her.She's feels everything falling apart in 
front of her and some people can't handle it.Especially someone as 
fragile as Usagi",Haruka said."All we can do is be there for her"
"Hotaru can you bring the tray to the kitchen?I need to talk to 
Haruka",Mirichu said and she quickly left.When they were alone
Mirichu stood up and looked out the window at the rain sliding off the 
windows.She sighed to herself."I think it's time we tried to help Usagi
get over Mamoru and get on with her life.She's not getting any better 
like this"
"We can't do that and you know this.They are destined to be with one 
another.To rule Crystal Tokyo.She loves him and I know he loves 
her",Haruka said and folded her arms.
"I can't see her suffer anymore.Maybe they were not meant to be with
one another.Perhaps this is a sign",Mirichu responded and Haruka stood 
up angrily.Inside she did not want to admit the fact that maybe 
Mirichu was right.That Usagi should go on and find another love.
"No,it's not a sign.This has to be some kind of test",she said.Mirichu
felt her temper rising.Why was Haruka being so stubborn?
"Why are you trying to ignore the fact that Usagi is really sick?!That
for the last two days she has not slept or ate.That she also use to 
sneak off to inflict self-pain herself.Mamoru has done NOTHING!"
"He too is feeling pain you know",Haruka argued."You don't see the 
obvious reasons he's pushed her away.He feels like he's failed her.
That becoming blind was his fault.If she gives up now,they're is no 
hope for her or us"
"Now is not the time to think about us.Haruka sometimes there are 
things you just have to give up on-"
"IF THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME,WOULD YOU GIVE UP?!",She yelled and
Mirichu stopped in her tracks.Lightning flashed and outside the rain 
began to pelt the windows making that the only sound in the room.They 
stood facing one another,both breathing hard.
"Of course not",Mirichu said quietly,tears in her eyes."I love you more 
than anything else.I'd never do that,my suffering would not matter"
"Than don't try to make Usagi do something she doesn't want to do",she
said and took Mirichu in her arms."Let her find her own way"
"Haruka go upstairs and go see how she suffers.She gets worse everyday.
I can't just sit here and watch her waste away"
"She is stronger than anyone thinks",Haruka answered and held her 
lover tight."For once,have faith"

Haruka walked the streets frantically searching every corner.Early 
that morning they had discovered that Usagi was missing.Of course 
everyone went into a panic so they all split up to go find her.They 
knew she didn't go to her parent's house,they had gone on vacation 
that month.Rain began to fall as Haruka entered the park and thunder 
crashed.Now she was real worried,Usagi wasn't much of thunder person.
However she sighed when she saw ahead of her a small figure sitting on a 
bench.Her odangos making her look very obvious.

Usagi usually hated rain and thunder but today it didn't seem so bad.
In fact it was refreshing,as it fell on her warm cheeks she opened her 
mouth to let the water in.It had been so long since she had been out.
This morning she had a special reason for getting up.Usagi had 
forgotten how much she loved the outdoors.The wind,the trees,even the 
rain.It didn't matter that at that moment she was sopping wet and 
sitting on a park bench like an idiot.Her long hair was soaked and 
stuck to her face.
"Enjoying the rain?",someone asked and she glanced up to see Haruka 
smiling gently at her.She patted the bench and her friend sat folding 
her legs."Do you do this a lot?"
"It's my first time",she responded and Haruka realized how much she
missed Usagi's sweet voice.
"Why did you leave?",Haruka asked and Usagi's face went solemnly 
serious."We're all worried about you"
"I had a reason to get up",she answered simply.
"Well you could have at least told us",Haruka said and got up pacing.
"I don't find sitting on park bench getting wet a very good reason-"
"I'm pregnant Haruka",Usagi said and she stopped her foot in mid-air.
"You're WHAT?!",she yelled and sat down next to her."Who?When?HOW?"
"Didn't you ever have that whole bird and the bees talk?",Usagi asked
her friend."Do you need me to explain the whole process to you?It's 
not a pretty picture"
"When did you find out?",Haruka inquired dumbfounded.
"This morning",she answered."I told you I had a good reason to get up" 
Usagi resumed looking out at the rain hitting the ground.Her face was 
pale and sober and immediately Haruka sat beside her again.
"Are you happy about this?",she asked."You want the baby,right?"
"Of course but the thing is that there's something wrong with the 
timing",she answered and put a hand on her still flat stomach.
"What's wrong with now?" Haruka inside was thrilled,this was something 
they weren't expecting.The first good news in days.
"This baby is Chibi-Usa",Usagi said."I'm not supposed to have her for
another century or something.Events like this could mean that the 
something in the future has changed or that this could change the 
timeline"
"Usagi you don't know that yet,do you?",Haruka said."Not until you've
asked Setsuna" She placed a hand on Usagi's."So don't worry just yet.
Usagi you're having a baby!"Haruka saw that something in Usagi was 
different.She was graver,her soul was weaken by all the pain she had 
recieved.The thought of Chibi-Usa gave Haruka hope that things might 
get better.
"I'm gonna go take a walk" Usagi got up aruptedly."I'll be back,don't 
worry" She smiled and Haruka realized this was her first genuine smile
in weeks.Suddenly things seemed to brightened.
"Be careful",she warned.
"Alright but I might stop for a bite to eat",Usagi said and winked at 
her friend grinning."After all I am eating for TWO now!"

She felt the life growing inside her and somehow a seed of happiness
opened inside Usagi.It filled her with an almost euphoric feeling but 
looking up at Mamoru's apartment her feelings dampen.As she walked into
the elevator her heart thumped wildly and when Usagi heard the elevator
opened she took in a breath.Sneakily she opened the door,it seemed 
like no one was awake.Checking the guest room,she saw that Andrew and 
Rita were already asleep.She was glad that someone was taking care of 
her Mamo-chan.Standing in front of Mamoru's bedroom door she hesitated.
What if he was awake?'You can't turn back now'Quietly Usagi opened
the door and closed it,walking to the bed she gazed lovingly at him.
His black hair shone in the moonlight and his face looked calm.In her 
eyes love shone ardently and she pulled the blanket up to his chest.
On the side of the table was wash basin with cloth in it.She took
the cloth and wiped his forehead.Her eyes filled with tears and she
sucked in her breath.
"Mamo-chan,maybe you can't hear me or refuse to listen but well I'm 
gonna talk anyway.I love you but you've hurt me.Now I'm going to 
stop thinking about myself,the only person I'm thinking of Chibi-Usa"
She took his hand and put in it on her stomach."You feel that.That's
OUR child.Yours and mine.I'm sorry I failed you but I won't fail at 
this" With that Usagi got up and kissed his forehead.He stirred but
fell asleep again.As she left Usagi looked behind her and she swore
she saw a small smile on Mamoru's lips.Usagi realized she had to stop 
acting like baby and get it together,for Mamo-chan,for Chibi-Usa,and 
most of all for herself.It was time for things to change.
