Hi everybody!It's meeh JLaLa! Here's Part 6 of mah story and wanna 
all y'all peeps who read my story! E-mail meeh of you want to with any
comments if you love it or hate it. But I hope you don't hate it! It's
all gravy! Okay Doke!

Yeah...so if you don't know Sailormoon and the
characters are not mine!

MAKING SACRIFICES(PART 6)

Serena just couldn't believe it. Darien stood in front of her and not 
to mention he was really...really good looking. Aging just made more 
handsome with his dark hair taking a bluish tint and his eyes sparkling
as he looked at her.Darien's muscular body seemed to tense up as he 
look at her and his mouth broke out into a wide smile.
"It's nice to see you again", He said to her quietly observing her new
look.
"Yeah it's been too damn long", She responded looking up at his eyes 
and the feelings she had for him churned like the ocean inside her
body. The love for him still burned hot like fire.
"Who's that?", Alex asked her looking jealously at Darien for catching
his mama's attention.
"Alex meet Darien. Darien, this is my son Alex", She said looking to 
see how Darien responded. The Senshi looked on wondering how Darien 
couldn't get that Alex was his kid too! The resemblance was uncanny.
"Serena can I talk to you for a moment?", He asked and she nodded
telling her friends to watch Alex. The two strolled down the hill
and disappeared. Once they were both unseen by their friends they
started to talk. "Serena how's it been?" He was trying hard to avoid
asking her the bombardment of questions in his head.
"Okay,I've been living in San Francisco for awhile", She answered.
"Serena I don't mean to sound rude but why the fuck did you leave?", 
He said his voice rising a bit.
"Darien Chiba don't curse in this park. There are a children in here", 
She retorted. "Where the hell do you get off acting like that?"
"Why shouldn't I? You left four years ago and you come back with a 
kid! A kid!", He said and threw his arms in the air.
"Why did you leave?", He asked quietly now with deep pain in voice. 
"I love you still so much Serena and my dreams were planted around 
you. I don't know what to think anymore"
"Darien", She whispered with a choked voice. "I care for you and love 
you more than I should reveal. But Alex comes first and I don't wanna 
go to San Francisco depressed. I can't handle it right now.I'm not the
same girl anymore maybe that might change what you feel for me but I 
can't go back."
"Serena nothing will ever change what I feel",he answered taking her 
hand. "If you want to take it slowly than we will. I just wanna be 
with you. Even if it's for awhile."
"I'm not just looking for awhile", She said with a thick voice. "I 
just can't have a fling"
"Let me take you out", He suggested."You and Alex."
"Where?", She asked him with a smile creeping on her lips. In spite of
their situation.
"To the beach", He answered. "Tommorrow"
"Okay", She said smiling softly.
"Really?", He said and she nodded. "Great! I'll pick you up about noon"
"Deal", She agreed and held out her hand. Darien then shook her hand 
but didn't let go. They both looked down at their hands. Then at each 
other and a spark of electricity traveled through their bodies. As 
they walked with each other they held hands smiling shyly at one 
another but if you saw the look upon each face it was clearly seen 
that the two had never stop loving each other. The senshi saw them and 
gasped in surprise.
"Well I'll be damn", Raye said as she saw the couple.
"You think she told him?", Lita asked and everyone agreed she didn't. 
Alex looked at his radiant mother and the handsome man with her. Alex 
then wished that him mother would always look that happy.

Darien rang the doorbell of the Tsukino residence the next day. Ilene 
answered the door and was surprised to see Darien standing there. She 
then quickly realized that her daughter had not told him.
"Hi, is Serena here?", He asked shyly and Ilene let him in."We're 
supposed to take Alex to the beach today"
"Well she's upstairs getting ready", She said and told him to go into 
the living room. He sat down and waited in anticipation. Alex entered 
the room giving Darien an broad smile.
"Hey Alex", Darien said.
"Hey Darien", Alex said back and sat next to him. He look adorable in 
his red shorts and white T-shirt. Alex held a long towel in his hand.
"My mom is taking awhile, she always takes her time"
"Alexander Tsukino what did you say about me?!", A voice yelled from 
upstairs.Alex and Darien stood up and went to the bottom of the stairs.
Serena was walking the down the stair wearing a white bikini set with 
a matching with robe opened in the front. She held a white tote bag. 
For a moment Darien remembered the night of their anniversary and how 
beautiful she looked. So young and sweet but now she looked so older 
but still enchanting nonetheless and beguiling almost sexy. She was 
still childlike for her face was like a doll but it was her blue eyes 
that made her look serious.
"Mama you look like a...", Alex said hesistantly."A babe! Yeah that's
what you are a babe!" Laughing Serena kissed him on the cheek.
"Thanks muffin", Serena said and blushed. Darien smiled thinking of 
time when that was his pet name. "Okay let's go!" Ilene and Ken 
entered the hallway and stared at the little family. Serena gave them 
a don't-say-a-word kind of look but Ken looked angrily at Darien. 
"We're gonna be goin now! Say bye Alex."
"Bye", said Alex and they were out the door.
"Ready for the beach, kiddo?", Darien asked and took Alex in his 
masculine arms.
"You betcha!", He answered."I don't know how to swim though. Can you 
teach me?"
"Why not?", Darien told him. They went into the car and drove off. In 
a few minutes they were at the beach. Darien had brought a umbrella
and two seats. Alex had spread out his towel and was revved up to
start swimming.
"Hold on Sweetie", Serena scolded him and put some sunscreen on him
before letting him run along the beach.
"Serena you mind putting some sunscreen on me?", Darien asked and
Serena slathered some lotion on him.His back was broad and his arms
muscular. His abs were hard and she felt a hot flash go through her.
Calm yourself, Serena thought.
"Okay finshed. My turn", She said and he began rubbing lotion
on her. Her curvy body laid on the towel as she laid with her 
eyes closed contentedly. Darien was lucky for she might have 
seen the lustful look in his eyes but he quickly blinked as
to push the feeling away.
"Done", He said and joined Alex. Lifting him up and throwing up in 
the air.Darien began to teach the basics of swimming. Soon the kid 
was swimming like a fish. Darien had developed a bond with the little 
boy and thought how great it would be if Alex was really his. Alex, 
Him, and Serena, a little family. What he didn't know was that the 
boy had bigger bond with him than he thought.

Serena watched Alex and Darien walked together picking up shells. They
even walked the same,she said in her mind. Their personalities matched
for they both charming and knew how to get people to fall for them. 
Also both had a sense to protect Serena. Alex watched out for his 
mother telling her what he thought she should do and what she shouldn't
do. Like he had also inherited Darien's past as the Prince. Watching 
them made her heart ache,she had not told him about Alex. The subject 
had not come up. She wanted to spare Alex the pain when they left. 
Also her own pain.

Tucking Alex in bed, Serena prepared to sleep. But his small voice 
called out to her.
"Mama", He said and she sat on his bed in the Tsukino house. Right 
next to Serena's bed.
"Yeah?"
"I really like Darien", He said to her."Can he be my daddy?" She looked 
at him with a mixture of sadness and pain.
"Honey it's not as simple as that.", She insisted.
"Don't you like him?", He asked with innocence.
"Of course I do. He's a great guy", Serena answered."But we have a life 
in San Francisco and he has a life in here"
"Can't you try to love him, mommy?", He begged. "I think he likes you"
"You're too young to be playing matchmaker", She said laughing. "Now 
go to sleep please"
"Okay", He said in a huff."Night mommy"
Laying in bed Serena looked up at the moon. Could she possibly ever 
leave the life she created in San Francisco? It didn't seem like 
something she could do but with Darien in the picture it seemed 
like a possibility. Serena was so deep in thought that she didn't 
noticed the black cat with the crescent moon on it's forehead come 
in through her window.
"Is that my klutzy Serena?", The cat said and Serena shot up from 
her bed giving the cat a hug.
"It's me Luna. It's Serena.", She said through her tears and the cat 
seemed to be tearing up also.
"You've grown so much", She said. "You're looking a lot like your 
mother,the queen". She then glanced down at the sleeping boy in the 
cot. "Who's this?"
"My son", She answered pushing the child's hair out of his face.
"Why he's the spitting image of Darien", Exclaimed Luna.
"His eyes are blue. But I guess he should look like Darien since he's 
Darien's son"
"That's why you left?", Asked Luna. Serena nodded wiping her tears away
and looked down. "Serena we could have helped"
"No", She said. "I had to learn to take care of myself"
"You staying here Luna?"
"Yeah", Luna answered. "Now let's sleep. We need our beauty sleep."
And with that they passed out into slumber.

"Let's go on the ferris wheel", suggested Serena the next evening.
They had gone to a fair that evening and the sounds and smells
made Serena feel like a kid. The atmosphere had an affect on the
little family for they spent there day acting kids,at least Darien
and Serena were acting like kids. As they sat in the ferris wheel with
Alex in between them the two smile at each other. "I'm having a great
time.Thanks for bringing us"
"Who wouldn't enjoy being with a great kid and a beautiful lady", He
said and Serena smiled. As they rode to the top Alex looked up
at the two adults as his side. They all felt connected like it
was supposed to be like this.
"It's great up in here", Darien commented looking at the moon and
memories of Serena's profile in the moonlight. He looked at her
and her hair shone and eyes sparkled. She kept getting more beautiful
and he fell deeper in love with her everytime she smiled at him.
The rest of the ride was spent in silence. When they got off, they 
played a few games and Darien won Dolls of all the Senshi including
Sailormoon. Also one of Tuxedo Mask which he gave to Alex.
"You look a lot like Tuxedo Mask, Darien", commented the child. He 
didn't know how right he was!
Before they left they went to a photo booth. After squeezing into the
booth they started to make faces at the camera. Funny faces and chessy
grins. Also one where Darien and Serena's faces where closed togther
while Alex's was at the bottom and another where Alex and Serena sat
on Darien's lap. They had never been so happy and relished the moment
with each other. Soon they had to leave and after all piling in the car
Alex drifted into a happy sleep. Darien carried Alex in his apartment
and put him in his bed. Opening his eyes Alex looked around at his
surroundings.
"Where's my mama?", He asked sleepily.
"Outside", Darien answered pulling the covers over Alex and taking off
his shoes. "Do you want me to get her?"
"No", said Alex and looked at him intently. "Darien I wish you were my
daddy"
"I wish you were my kid", He answered back sincerely."I'd be the 
proudest dad in the world"
"Marry my mama", He said suggestively."I want you to. You make her 
smile"
"She's pretty when she smiles,i sn't she?", Darien commented smiling 
to himself. "It isn't so simple."
"She said the same thing"
"Go figure", He said smiling they had always had a bond. Alex pulled
Darien down to whisper in his ear.
"Give her a rose and tell her she's pretty", He suggested. "My mama 
likes that"
"Thanks for the advice kiddo", Darien smiled and watch fall asleep.
He pushed Alex's hair out of his face."Goodnight...son" Darien wished
for the moment.

Serena looked around the living room. It was the same. Somethings will
never changed, she thought.Darien entered the room obviously in deep
thought about something.
"Whatcha think about?", She asked and he sat next to her on the couch.
"Alex's a great kid", He answered. "You raised him well"
"When he was born I promised he was my top priority and that I would 
raise him the best I could. I hope I did"
"Why did you leave?", He asked her and her eyes clouded over.
"One night I asked myself what was I gonna do with my life", She
began. "I wasn't smart or anything and I had no plans or skills.
All I was ever good at was being Sailormoon and most of the time I
felt like I was screwing that up. I was a Princess but that wouldn't 
get me anywhere. So I left to find out who I was and what I was gonna 
do. But then I screwed around and got pregnant". She paused, "For 
awhile I felt horrible and even worse than before. Then Alex was born 
and I found a new meaning in my life. Someone actually depended on me 
and gave me a reason to become a responsible person" She felt horrible
for lying but some of the story was not lies.
"But why didn't you tell anyone", He asked looking at her eyes
which were damp.
"Because they would tried to help me", She answered. "I was trying to
find myself and it would be hard with me being codependant on everyone"
"I understand", He said and got up to turn on the radio. The room was 
dim because only the fireplace was on and he pulled her up into his a
rms.
"What are you doing?", She said and he put his finger to her lips.
"Just dance", He said into her ear. The song was a sad ballad taking
them back to the time when there were no worries and it was just them.
It reminded of their years apart and of the undying love they held
for one another:

The song ended but they felt unable to let go of each other. Before
any words exchanged Serena put her finger to his lips.
"If you say anything I might just cry again", She whispered as their 
lips met in a soft kiss which grew into a passionate one. As they let 
go, they laid on the couch, Serena's head lying on his chest.
"I have never loved you as much as I love you at this moment", He
said to her which made her smile. At that moment nothing mattered.
They both fell asleep in each other's arms waiting for morning light
to touch their content faces.
