WARNING:
This story is way into the alternate reality point.
Be prepared for something very different. It starts
out with Rei but Usagi and Mamoru are in this story.
This fic is completely different and some of the 
things you may read are for more mature readers so 
I am warning you to stop reading this story if you 
are not the appropriate age or maturity for it. This 
will contain some sexual content but it is NOT a lemon. 
Ages may be different among other things. 

Another turning point;

Time of Your Life (Chapter Three)

The house begin quite different after the birth of Tamlyn. Nights 
passed like slow minutes and for Rei it seemed as if the crying never 
stopped. Some moments made her want to rip her ears off and throw them 
in the toilet so that they could be far away from the nerve-wracking 
crying.

Time passed however and soon the crying stopped as the baby grew and
they cherished each moment when her blue eyes brightened or when a
beautiful smile came to her little lips. Tami began to change before
their eyes and as time went on so did they. Rei began to love the
family that she had such grave reservations of when she first came.
She wasn't afraid of Mamoru but learn to tolerate his moods and temper
as Usagi did, with good nature and loved her brother as he was. He in
turn took care of her and though never admitting it to anyone loved
his sister.

However the mention of their parents would change him quickly and she
knew to steer clear of the subject. As Usagi said he would tell when
it was "the right time". Her fascination of them did not lessen but
intensified her to find out as much as she could. Mamoru had even
let her keep the picture of her mother but never mentioned any 
pictures of their father. He remained as somewhat a shadow to 
her.

Usagi took on the role of "mom" with great vigorous energy 
and enthusiasm. The youngest of three she took care of them making
sure that when Rei went to school she had lunch or when her
cooking backfired on her, lunch money or that when Mamoru went
to work in warehouse that he had a ironed shirt and clean tie.
Tamlyn was always fed, clothed and diapered and was content with
eating a biscuit as she watched cartoons on the television.

Another subject that seemed so taboo to Rei was the origin of where
Usagi came from. Where her family was and how she had met Mamoru.
Not to mention how her brother had impregnated a girl three years
his junior. Rei was grateful for Usagi though for which she didn't
think she'd make it without.

The morning had started busier as usual for today Rei had gotten an
interview for a small clothing shop three blocks from the house. 
Mamoru was going to work as usual and Usagi was bringing Tamlyn to 
a doctor's appointment.

"Mamoru change Tami", Usagi said as she cooked breakfast for them. The
smell of burnt toast and eggs was in the air and Mamoru cringed.

"I don't know how to change a diaper", He told her as Usagi handed 
Tami to him. He caught scent of Usagi's citrus shampoo and saw how 
beautiful she looked that morning. Her hair down in it's usual style, 
her long legs in full view in the shorts she wore and her eyes glowing.

"Well who changed her when I wasn't here?"

"Rei"

"Let me help you then", She said impatiently and gave him a stapler 
gun. "You figure out the rest"

"Very funny", He responded. "Usa" She turned to look at him from the 
stove. "You look beautiful" Her smile warmed and he quickly left the
room. Rei entered in a business suit that Usagi let her borrow for
the interview.

"You look great Rei", She said and smoothed the girl's hair. The 
doorbell rang. "Answer that please" Walking barefoot down the stairs 
she opened the door and a young man her age came into view.

"What do you want?", Rei asked the tall boy with long, shaggy hair 
but what look like a handsome face from under it. In his hand was a 
bag of bread.

"Who are you?", He asked her with suspicion and a cocked eyebrow from 
what she could see.

"Who are YOU?", She asked him with even more suspicion and cocked her 
eyebrow.

"I'm Yuuichirou, Usagi's brother", He answered and put a hand in his 
pocket. "Would you like some ID?"

"No, thank you", She answered. What a jerk. "Follow me" Leading up the
stairs she brought him to the kitchen where Usagi was drinking some 
juice while humming a tune she was listening to on the radio. 

"Well look who's here", She said crossing her arms and suddenly ran 
into his arms. "Yuuichirou!"

"Usa, how are you?", He said with sweet grin on his face. Okay so he 
was a little cute. "Where's the baby?"

"Right here", Mamoru said to Yuuchirou and handed Tamlyn to him. "Hey 
Yuuchirou" He handed Usagi the stapler gun.

"It's empty", She said and looked at her daughter's diaper which was 
fixed correctly with no staples or anything.

"Yeah I figured the whole diaper thing", Mamoru said with an evil 
grin. "But I also found a way to keep all YOUR clothes off the floor"

"You didn't", She countered.

"See for yourself", He said and Usagi ran to the room. Quickly took 
his things and kissed his daughter and without noticing Rei on the 
head. "I'm outta here" 

"MAMORU!", Usagi yelled coming out from the room. 

"He left", Rei said. "Now calm down and eat something" She sat down 
inbetween both of them.

"Yuuichirou, this is Mamoru's sister Rei, my brother Yuuichirou", She 
said introducing them.

"We've met. If she wasn't so beautiful, I wouldn't have excused the 
attitude she gave me", He said to her and Rei blushed. "I brought 
you're favorite bread"

"Thank you", She said and took the bread. "How are Shingo, Hatsue, 
Maya, and Jiro?" Usagi looked at Rei. "My brothers and sisters" Usagi 
took Tamlyn and rocked her as she gazed at Yuuichirou tensely. Rei 
watched concerned as she saw that the girl was biting her lip. "Are 
they okay?"

"They're fine. Maya's walking now and Shingo just began seventh 
grade", He told her. "They told me to tell you that missed you and 
they want to see their niece"

"...And mom?", Usagi said quietly and held on Tamlyn who chewing on 
her fist.

"She's pregnant again", Yuuichirou said and his eyes were dark.

"I thought she was going to work again", Usagi said and Rei could tell
that she was holding it in. 

"Yeah but we thought she couldn't have anymore children", He responded
obviously upset with the news. "I have to go to work. Hatsue needs
braces and the insurance won't pay for anything else" Usagi nodded
and stood up.

"Rei walk him to the door, Tami needs to be changed" Quickly she walked 
out of the kitchen. Rei looked at the boy and led back him back down 
the stairs. She was perplexed at what she was hearing but well she had
her number of surprises. At the door Yuuichirou turned and handed her 
a piece of paper.

"If anything goes wrong with Usagi, this is my number", He said and 
gave her a cocky smile. "Also that is if you ever wanna talk"

"No, I doubt I would and if I did it wouldn't be with you", She 
supplied.

"Ouch", Yuuichirou said. "I hope I see you again Rei-" SLAM.

She had already closed the door.

Upstairs Rei entered just in time to see Usagi wiping her face though 
her eyes were watery and her face upsettingly flushed. She had been 
getting Tamlyn dressed and the child did not notice her mother's face
as her small legs kicked in the air.

"Usa? What's wrong?", Rei said as the girl wiped her eyes quickly.

"Nothing, you have to go, you'll be late", Usagi reminded her.

"Screw the interview, I wanna know what's wrong", Rei argued. She 
wasn't about to be left in the dark AGAIN.

"JUST LEAVE! PLEASE!"

"Okay, fine I'm leaving" Hell she didn't want to be left in the dark 
again but she didn't want to be yelled at either.

Walking into the office Rei was surprised to see Yuuichirou sitting 
in the room that she was being interviewed in. What a small, CRUEL 
world.

"You're doing the interview, aren't you?", Rei said and sat down 
defeated.

"Yes, how'd you know?", He asked her with a gentle smile. How 
irratated she was by his niceness.

"Fate is cruel", She told him. "You know why I need this job. Usagi 
and Mamoru have no money to support me. There's a child in the house 
now and we need diapers and milk and clothes-"

"You really do care about my sister, don't you?", Yuuichirou asked her
and his dark eyes burned into her. Swallowing the lump in her throat
she nodded.

"Of course", She said. "Usagi takes care of me"

"I know, she used to always take care of me when she lived with 
us", He said quietly. "Listen Rei, I know I haven't been the best 
guy to be around and I'm not much to look at and I do come on a 
little strong but I know once you get to know me you could possible 
in a teeny chance change your opinion. A beautiful girl like you can 
hate anyone they want"

"I'm not beautiful"

"You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen", He whispered. "And 
you have the job"

"So my brother gave you the job?", Usagi said as the two walked down 
the street and the young mom pushed Tamlyn down the street. "Wow and 
he came on to you"

"Odd day", Rei added commenting. They walked into a small market and 
Usagi began to bag some fruit.

"I use to work here you know", Usagi said as they strolled through 
the store.

"What happened?"

"I got pregnant"

"Oh-OOF" Rei bumped into someone and the woman's groceries fell from 
the basket she held and dropped. "I'm so sorry"

"It's alright-" The woman's eyes met Usagi's and narrowed as she 
looked at her quickly gathering her things she left before glancing 
once more at Usagi and the baby.

Usagi's eyes watered and quickly she turned the stroller right out 
the store. Rei followed quietly as they came to a bench and suddenly 
Usagi burst into tears.

"Who was she?"

"My mother"

"Why didn't she talk to you?", Rei asked softly.

"For the same reason she kicked me out of the house", Usagi said as 
the tears kept on falling. "It's time I tell you about myself"
