Mercury*Hime's Place This month is Michiru's birthday! Otanjoubi Omedetou, Michiru! This month is also the celebration of Hina Matsuri! What's Hina Matsuri??? Hina Matsuri is Girls' day. It is celebrated on March 3rd. Traditionally, families with girls celebrate by displaying Hinaningyou (also called ohimesama) dolls on red display shelves. Hinaningyou are beautiful dolls representing the emperor/empress and their court. The emperor and empress dolls are put on the top shelf, and the other dolls are placed in terms of rank. The house is decorated with peach blossoms for this occasion. I saw a tile background made of a picture of Sailor Moon ohimesama! They were so cute! I couldn't find that picture, so I got some Hello Kitty ohimesama images instead. These were taken from the Japanese Hello Kitty website. :: Emperor and Empress Dolls :: :: Empress Doll with Accessories :: :: Ohimesama on Red Shelves :: :: Actual Hina Matsuri Celebration :: - I scanned this myself. This corner layout was made by Team Venus. |

Greetings to all who have come to visit. I created Sailormoon World to set the records straight as best I can about Sailor Moon. I don't think that I have the best BSSM domain, but I can only hope to be and do so by giving the most accurate manga-based info possible. I started watching SM dubs in March of '96, and from there I grew an interest in all versions of Sailormoon, but my favorite is the manga. I took japanese classes for 1 year, (and got perfect grades! ^^) but due to unfortunate circumstances I am no longer able to take those classes. Look! I'm a member of the Sailor Moon Romance Club! (now called Flower Girls) ![]() For all who have looked over ths whole site and are still seeking ACTUAL ENTERTAINMENT, here's a list of languages you can learn (provided by Bart Simpson, not a Japanese Character):
