Instead of using lime, I have opt for using peach which gives it a unique and wonderful twist. For added fun, dip the rims of the glasses into colored, coarse sugar.

When one think of margarita, Mexico comes instantly to mind. Margaritas are usually associated with pale green tart-sweet cocktail drink where tequila takes center stage.

Peach Margaritas free mexican drinks and cocktails recipes


  • 6 peach slices
  • 1/2 can (12 ounces) frozen peach juice, concentrated (thawed)
  • granulated sugar
  • 3 cups ice (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 cup tequila (omit if prefer non-alcohol)


How to Make Peach Margaritas Drink:


  • Bring 6 stemmed glasses and rub each rim with 1 lime half
  • Dip rims into granulated sugar
  • Squeeze the juice from both limes into a blender
  • Add remaining ingredients except the peach slices into blender
  • Cover and blend (high speed) till foamy
  • Pour into each glasses and serve with peach slices
  • Serve immediately

HINT: This recipe will make 6 servings, approx. 1 cup for each guest.

Easy Salt or Sugar Rim: Rub each glass rim with the cut side of a lime, lemon or orange then dip the rim into a shallow dish of coarse salt (traditional for margaritas) or sugar. The rims can be prepared up to 8 hours in advnace.

Coarse salt (margarita salt) should be available in the beverage section of most large supermarkets or specialty liquor stores. For that added extra special touch, you can use red/greem/yellow/blue color sugar instead of plain white sugar and they should be available in the bakery or spice section.
