  • 1 can or 6 ounces of frozen lemonade concentrate (thawed)
  • 2 cups ginger ale (chilled)
  • 1 bottle (4/5 quart) dry red wine (chilled)
  • 1/2 cup orange flavored liqueur
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • Garnish with orange or lime slices or combination of both

Ingredients for Sangrita

  • 2 chile anchos (toasted - stem & seeds removed)
  • 2 tbsp onion (chopped finely)
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • juice of 1 small lime
  • salt

How to make Sangrita: (Authentic Mexican Sangrita)

  • Soak chiles in hot water for 20 mins then drain
  • In a blender, puree the chiles with onion, orange juice, lime juice and salt (to taste) till well blended
  • If mixture too thick, add more lime and juice
This recipe will make about 4 small shots


How to Make Sangria Drink:


  • In a pitcher, mix all the ingredients listed above except the ginger ale and garnish
  • Refrigerate until chilled nicely
  • Just before serving, stir in the ginger ale
  • Garnish as desired

HINT: This recipe will make about 16 servings, approximately 1/2 cup for each guest.
