To Live Again- Chap-2- The After Math

" Mikika!! Get out of there! Move, just don't stand there!!!" Eagle yells back on the bridge into the COM, as he watches the screen, seeing the meteor get closer.
" I am trying!!" Mikika yells back to him, as the static gets worse, to where the others can barely hear her, " I cant move that well out here!" She yells once more. As Geo yells commands on the bridge, to the others below, Zazu watches the screen, " Geo, Commander!! Its gonna hit us!!!"
" Mikika!!!!!!" Eagle yells into the COM, then a large crash, a jerk in the ship, people hanging on for dear life, warning beacons goin off, the smashing of metal, breaking of the exterior of the ship is what can be heard. The others scream or yell as they hit the ground, the computers fritzes and the power goes out for a few seconds. When the ship stops moving and the yells calm down, when the lights flicker back on, and the computer screen it still out, the silence hits them all. Eagle stands up grabbing the COM.
" Mikika..." His voice says quietly and shaken into the COM. No response just the static sound, nothing at all. The whole ship was silent, not one sound except for the frizz of wires and a few sniffs. Then suddenly the COM explodes in his hands taking out the whole system altogether. Some of the debris hits his face making a large cut in his cheek and almost causing him to fall over. Geo, quickly runs over to him and helps him to stand, looking at the ruined COM, then at Eagle - tears. Tears forming in his eyes, looking at the COM also. That's when he takes off, running out of the bridge.
" Commander!!" Geo yelled as he ran after him, trying to get him to stop. He finally caught up with him outside of the hatch leading to the outside. "Use common sense, or your no use to anyone on the ship, or you can get yourself killed. At least let me go out with you."

"Ok," said Eagle. Walking into the hatch and putting up the air shield. They stepped out into space, floating to the back of the ship, their hearts fearing the sight that they might see. The back of the ship was totally obliterated, the second engine in pieces, floating in space, wires and metal is all they could see at this point, but as they made their way further back, they see the cause of the damage. The meteor, large and gray - with craters in it and dents, looking like it has done more damage than this before. It was about as big as FTO'S leg, it lay indented quiet well into the back of the ship. Geo looked to the side, at the large amount of damage, but then heard Eagle.
" Oh god..." He said quietly," No!" Then he yelled as loud as he could. Geo turned his attention to him, and then to the way he was looking, and what made him scream like that. But before him, it was Mikika. Her lower portion was smothered by the meteor, her body constricted in painful spasms, her mouth was wide open, choking on blood and gasping for air, her eyes where wide, fear and pain distorting her features. Tears, somewhat feel down her face, out of the awful feeling that tore though her body, death.
Eagle held back for a minute then floated as fast as her could toward Mikika's broken body. More tears fell from his eyes as he floated closer near her, they flew off his face and made sparkles in space, like stars. Geo's face was stunned at what he saw, not being able to move, a few tears also feel down his cheeks as he looked on.
" Mikika..." Eagle said, finding himself, right next to her, grabbing her hands in his. Mikika, slowly, tried to lift her head and look up at him. When she finally did and looked at his face, more tears fell down her face, as she coughed up some blood, it ran out the side of her mouth.
"Eagle..." She said softly, not being able to talk that well, as she gasped for more air, " I...I am sorry..." She managed a smile, but cringed in pain as she did, her whole body hurt, every inch of her.
" Don't act likes its gonna end like this!" Eagle yelled somewhat, but calmed his tone, as he cried, " You...you cant die yet...What about Nekari? You cant leave..." He said between sobs, still holding her hands gently, squeezing them a little out of fear.
" No...before you start to say that, Eagle..." She gasps, " I love you...and Nekari...This is fate, my stubborn-ness lead me to my own fault..." She stops for a minute, breathing heavily as more blood came out of her mouth, " This is the...end..." She said softly, as more tears fell down out of her saddened eyes, as somewhat of a smile was upon her face. Eagle closed his eyes, he sobbed uncontrollably, and he didn't want to believe it was over, it couldn't be, and this...this is just a dream. He thought how he could lose his love, how would he tell his son? He couldn't, this couldn't happen. As he kept his eyes shut tight, Mikika slowly lifted her arm, with all the strength she could, and placed it on the side of his cheek. Eagle open his eyes with shock that she could still move, as more tears sparkled off their faces into space.
" Now be strong..." She smiled a little, Eagle wrapped his arms around her upper body, holding her close, " Don't worry about me...I'm a tomboy remember..." She chuckled a little, and with one last gasp, her eyes closed and she faded away in his arms. Eagle could fell her heart stop beating, and her breathing stop. Her body no longer let of that warmth she always had and he would never hear her soft voice again.
" No...Mikika...No..." He cried, still holding onto her.

-Might I add, that soon this sorry will be transfered to the Anime section, due to to many characters based off other series, so the next chaper will mnost likly be the last you'll see unless you go into the anime section.
