 Upon
learning that Ares has secretly become the Master of Sanctuary and intends
to kill Athena, Aioros prevents one murder attempt and escapes Sanctuary
with the baby, who is as yet too young for her power and full memories
to manifest. While he is successful in getting her away from the danger
and gives her to a new guardian, Aioros dies as a result of his wounds
(received from both Ares' attack and a later battle with Capricorn Shiera)
on top of having to evade capture and getting out of Sanctuary to the outside
world with the baby Saori/Athena. (His name may actually be AEolus, which
was the name of the chief god of the winds in Greek mythology.) |
