ALIASES: Sometimes Man O' the Night

AUTHOR: Nightman

OTAKU OF: Minako, focused on her "darker side." Is also very fond of Makoto and has
always been appreciative and respectful around her.

FACTION: Kage Shogunate. Formerly of the Minakochanians, now declared a renegade
by the Final Angel.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Looks a lot like Dimando, but not in a white leisure suit.
Hair length varies, and sometimes it's blond ala Jadeite. Usually wears spiffy black princely
outfit with gold trim; sometimes simple jeans, dark jacket and blue t-shirt (etc). Nightman
does not like the colors orange or yellow (except as gold trim). For the record, the
Nocturnal Sombrero is the property of the seldom-seen SD Nightman. @_@

POWERS: Nightman has the ability to make elemental attacks based on the night: shadows, darkness, and starlight are at his
command. He can teleport. He has skills in sorcery that allow him to create powerful but elaborate rituals for a variety of
effects as well as enchant magic items. He's also an adept swordsman. Powers previously shown include "Nocturnal Wall," (a
darkness barrier) and "Starfire Flare" (which is an otaku-scale version of Minako's crescent beam).  Notably unusual for an
otaku, he has no direct access to any form of "hammerspace."

EQUIPMENT: He has what looks like a henshin wand that actually summons a hardsuit from subspace. This suit was made
for Minako by RockManX and was subsequently modified by Nightman to fit him. It can generate (assumably lesser) versions
of Venus' attacks and looks like a cross between a regular hard suit and ornate armor from Record of Lodoss War. He also
carries a magic sword with a golden crescent cross-guard that can parry energy attacks and glows in the presence of
great(er?) evil, such as Chaos.

WEAKNESSES: He is deathly allergic to aspartame and has been incapacitated by heavy exposure in the past. Thus,
common Diet Coke is anathema to him (though he can handle fountain pop Diet Coke as it does not contain any form of
aspartame.)

PERSONALITY QUIRKS: A subtle schemer with his own unique sense of honor. He can almost never let an insult go
unanswered, but his answer is more likely to be a complex scheme than a direct attack. Then again, sometimes the best
surprise is a sudden all-out strike.

ORIGIN: Nightman appears to be a hithertofore unknown relative of Dimando and the Black Moon Family. He has claimed
to be a Prince of Nemesis and therefore a cousin of Prince Sapphir. The truth is unkown. What is known that he was already
aboard a Minakochanian warfleet ready to fire on both Belial and Jet Wolf when they were having the exchange of comments
generally regarded as the start of Otaku Wars.

GOALS: To re-establish his right to spread the glory of Minako; gain vengeance on Abacus for his coup d'etat; help the
Shogunate remain intact and regain prestige; and actually get something done. ^_^;

NOTABLE ALLIES: Sidekick Luna-kun; the other members of his faction (in its extended membership that kind of rolls into
the Makochanians); Jason Bramlett; Minako (she and he have hung out more than any other Otaku and senshi in the wars.)
Others allies are currently inactive.

NOTABLE ENEMIES: Warthog - their rivalry for leadership of the Minakochanians probably ended up turning both of
them to the dark side, somewhat; Abacus; any Minakochanian that takes a hostile stance against him (such as the Final Angel);
Chibi-youma; anyone who lists him as an enemy without him actually *doing something to them in character*.
