I always wanted to create my own web award, but there was always some reason that made me desist or procrastinate. This time I decided it was time and sat on my ass til it was flatter than a quarter workin on it, and after 3 days of trial and error, 3 awards popped out of my Paint Shop Pro 4...

The 3 awards are:       And the requisites to get'em:
Bronze Shark Award

Silver Shark Award

Golden Shark Award

       Obviously, your page has to be about Anime or Manga

It must have at least 3 sections

Good Design, meaning:

  • Good Graphic content
  • Good Grammar and Spelling (typos are forgiveable)
  • No broken links, images or Java Applets
  • Fast loading and easy to browse thru site

Originality and Innovation, meaning

  • No info or content copied from other sites. That is, no links to other people's files or copied text.
  • As little copied ideas as possible
  • Something we can all learn from

  • If u don't, no matter how good your site is, u won't get the award. It's that simple.

About ur site's content, well, I'm not against Hentai, unless it's something extreme (a lot of kids access this page, and there's access to hentai site thru the Winners List), so it's ok. Fanfic and Doujinshi are gladly welcome. Spelling is really important. I've seen too many people write "mistooken" and stuff like that and it gets annoying.

I know it seems like I'm askin for too much, but once u see all this together in one homepage u realize it's not that bad. It's just a matter of doin ur best. The award u get depends on the quality of ur homepage. Remember, even the Bronze Shark is hard to get, so if u get it, take pride on it.
