in magic:
January 28: The Smite Foe spell has been through the wringer, as promised. Primary Magic skill no longer directly scales its effectiveness; only your stats and the amount of mana you put into it makes a difference.
The spell scroll system went live a few days ago. Be on the lookout for scrolls, tablets, and other writing surfaces scrawled with arcane instructions. You can find or buy well-known spells, variations that you can't learn from any Guild, and entirely new spells. If you find one but can't decipher it, maybe someone from another Guild can figure it out... or maybe you just need more training in Scholarship.
the Ratha Majik shop is still not open, but i assume they'll have scrolls and i heard there's a scriptorium on Aesthy that has a black grimiorge or something like that for 20 plats that has a spell, just what i heard. Also M'riss and Mer'kesh will probally have shops from what i understand...
also tons of critter list additions lately, added a new rant, and buncha other stuff, working on redoing page too
