*2/10/99- for some odd reason the faire came back in Shard... Zanafrat said it closed cause they didn't pay their land fees or whatever, but it closed, might reopen... had that weapon wagon with laskes and asefilt blades, Glassblower was there and had stained glass windows also, the maze, archery field, roustabout and like 2 other tents.. not much, but it was there for a brief while.
Agreement Between Trader's Guild and Gem Merchants!
The Trader's Guild has finished negotiations with the local gem merchants, who have agreed to buy gems in quantity from Traders who are in good standing with the Guild. Gem pouches are available at no charge from gemshop owners.
As a service to non-Trader Guild members, the gemshops will appraise pouches until such time as non-Trader Guild members are able to appraise the contents of gem pouches themselves. Please be aware, however, that gemshop owners will only purchase pouches of gems from Traders.
this also means you can get the pouches(even non-traders), and are now wearable, but can't sell them unless a trader
