Warklin Mauler
The warklin mauler greatly resembles some of the more exotic tropical beetleforms, inasmuch as it has many legs, and a hardened carapace surrounding its segmented body. The two legs closest to its face are akwardlooking, being bent back up over thick shoulder joints, and then arcing forward in wicked scythe-like points. The remaining legs are wide, and short, holding the hard-shelled body close to the ground. Glossy black eyes peer outfrom within the shadowy depths of a plated visor-like shell protrusion, looking adroitly ahead. What makes it different from its armored cousin is that the shell on the mauler is about five times thicker, and hence the mauler is much slower than its light infantry relative.
