Rnnn… I felt like doing a review and this was newly added to Wren’s Nest Tour Desk (though most of the new ones are sites that haven’t been updated in a year.) This one actually loaded and had this nifty neat opening graphic that completely slowed my computer down. It’s run by Krymson Dyne Ebonrune(not sure which is his last name.)

Oh yeah and the site was rated high on Wren’s Nest, hopefully it lives up to some mild expectations…

Site Design: The main page, then sidebar that everyone has as site map, ENN at the bottom, title of site at top, and small area for actual stuff. It’s a ‘pretty’ site, I guess…

Graphics: Some crypt thing that when you drag the mouse across you get water droplet trails, slowing but nifty. Another trace graphic of a disc for some site or something, dragon background (nice looking), and a dragon around a castle, and some gay purple flames. Some book also in the message board(just putting it here, nothing impressive other than the dragon keep thing so far.) Some weird f’ed up dragon on the hall of honor, we all got a freaking rose. Naked chic and a sword, and some ugly space-ship sword as well. A graveyard that’s in a marsh for some odd reason, which really isn’t intelligent, the point is to keep them dead, or not undead, or whatever…

Music: something that sounds like someone’s farting to ghost moans. Some pipe organ stuff on the hall of honor. Some more stuff on the rose thing. Farting to the tunes of little clicky stick things (mind minds going blank, like bones in the game I guess). Some death march type stuff in the war room and another one in the Portrait, later is from a game, forgetting which one, probably Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen.

The Site:

Main Page: some quote on mortal chains that that graveyard/mouse droplet graphic, blah blah blah, kind of nifty actually.
Other Main Page(labeled content): Keep of the Dark Knight of Urrem’tier, Krymson… ok so he stole a graphic and labeled it his keep I guess. Some content, some links, something about being the black angel, lord of the sky, blah blah blah. Hey the little thing to shut the noise up, nifty! Something about Pryem, webrings, and guestbook, nothing that isn’t in the Sidebar
Throne Room: oh yessss! A crapper!!! Wait it’s just the above mentioned site… nertz
Temple of Night: called the hall of gathering… appears to be a chat room, I’m not sure, I suck at ICQ(meaning I know nothing about them.)
Hall of Scrolls: Message board… nothing here, maybe he’s in some kind of club, cult, house, whatever..
Hall of Honor: Please don’t be like Hes’s site… please don’t be like Hes’s site, please don’t be like…uh… words, words, dragon, organ music, latin words, those who have earned respect, guilds, names…noone I know, ok onto the next purple pill (those things look like purple pills)
Paladin Scrolls: Book of Deeds, like a book, um... guild reqs, words of honor from Beren, Basic beginner stuff. Has some links, thanks DA rock which is a downside, only thing of value on the site so far other than the nifty drag stuff which is pointless and the dragon/keep picture, but I’m not a beginner, so…
Maps: The sidebar becomes a map sidebar, and uh… just has Sablina’s maps for the islands. Has Shard after the islands so not sure if it’s Sablina’s, and I’m not going to look at them, but he has maps, could get maps some place else and better I’m sure, but he has maps, beginning Pally stuff and maps, ok…
Way of the Rose: link to the rainbow clan? Ok a rose, a gay little proposal sounding thing and more music, wow, I’m shocked… just shocked… speechless…
Way of the Sword: ok… damn I missed all the naked people on the beach on Bob and Margaret, nertz… some naked ass chick and a big sword (it’s like as thick as her), latin, words, ugly sword that looks like it could fly(like a Star Wars ship), and more music
Elanthian Links: Basic Links with 3 ones I’ve never heard of before…oh that Li Tumbra Mir, maybe I trash that sometime later… and it crashes my internet… mmm crap
War Room: almost over in this uneventful site… ooo burning war room logo, and death march stuff, more paladin guild stuff, titles, req’s, etc..
Portrait: yeah finally over, after this the bashing, well more bashing begins, here we go, I assume another stolen picture, death/final boss in an RPG video game music, ramblings, stuff about him "weighing in at 230 pounds" hee hee, like a boxing match. 6’1." Wow, I’m taller than him, and goes long into her personal description, his history, this has made me sick so…

Side Notes: Those damn follow’y things sure slow down a puter

Rating: Don’t bother unless you know the guy or want to see a pretty site, or want to steal some graphics or music. It has basic paladin information you can get anywhere, nothing terribly helpful and he tries to RP everything, so don’t bother

Final Thoughts: does he think he’s some kind of dark god? He makes everything evil and foreboding, or tries do, but goes on the way of the rose. Maybe he’s trying to be a romantic vampire thing or something, anywho this was another physically draining site…
