ok, a lil bit about football here in Holland...

most people know the clubs that are pretty good... (Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV and clubs like Vitesse and Roda JC are known by some too...) but there are more clubs then that... there`s Heerenveen, the best club in Friesland, wich is going into europe during the new season there`s FC Twente, wich has qualified for european football more than once...
and there are clubs like WillemII, NAC, Sparta and Utrecht that can play good in some seasons... and people who know me a bit know that I support AZ Alkmaar, the club that became champions in 1981, won the cup in 1981, reached the final of the uefa cup in 1981... nowadays it`s not winning stuff anymore.. except the dutch First Division title.. (if you count the highest division as some sort or Premier Division) wich was won during the last season... the trainer of AZ is Willem Van Hanegem, someone like a legend in dutch football history `n stuff... we got pretty decent players, like Oscar Moens, one of the better keepers in the dutch league... we got Barry van Galen... and the club has had some players who are in the national team now... Philip Cocu has played for AZ before moving to Vitesse, and Jimmy Floyd Haisselbaink has played for AZ...
oh, and world-famous, lots of titles having won coach Louis Van Gaal (former AJAX, now Barcelona) was once SACKED here in alkmaar... (and we`re damn proud of it `n stuff...)
