CHAPTER 9: The Three Lights' Back Concert
The hallways of Chaos' palace of illusions were dead silent, save for the faint roar of crashing ocean waves or the sound of a few mystical animals roaming about. Suddenly a loud, piercing bell echoed across the halls.
Mayhem reappeared in Chaos illusionary realm, at the entrance of the hallway marked with the runes for Riot and Ruckus. Chaos might be able to appear and disappear whenever he wanted in anyone's territory, but it was considered rude for others to do so. He stood there for a moment and let his aura flare out slightly. They should be able to detect it and allow him to enter. But one minute, two passed with no answer.
Slightly frustrated, Mayhem let his power grow stronger, some of it even bleeding out into the visible range. Still, no reply.
"Fine. I'm not going to wait around all night like a fool." he turned and stalked back to his own realm. He would try again tomorrow.
But tomorrow came and started with a horrible ringing noise. Mayhem started and sat up in bed, his grey eyes only momentary clouded by confusion.
"What the..?" But then memory returned and he flopped back down on his pillows. "Today Chaos and the others start school. That awful noise must be Chaos' version of a wake-up call. He damn well could have confined it to the rooms of just those actually going with him today."
A small smile quirked the edge of his mouth. "Well, while they goof off there, I'll actually try to get some work done."
He thought about that. "After I sleep some more." He turned over and soon drifted back into the darkness of dreaming.
In the realm of illusions Chaos had fashioned, it could be whatever time of day one so desired. Chaos himself had a preference for night, and so the main galleries and atriums were all with nightly settings even in the afternoon hours where daylight reigned supreme outside among the skyscrapers. And within each chamber that belonged to his Court of Chaos, there was the option to fashion their domain into whatever time they cared to have on a whim.
Yet there were some things not even Chaos could stop: somewhere in Tokyo it was 6:45am, Monday morning.
A school day.
Driven from their chambers, Riot and Ruckus groaned and stifled a few yawns. "I do not need this," Riot muttered. "He's been living for about four thousand years and he can't find a gentler way of waking us up yet?"
Ruckus nodded. "Hai hai. Chaos couldn't be *that* cruel to announce to us that he's started a new game, would he?"
Havoc, looking rather irate, appeared from his own area...dragging his Zanba sword behind him. "He's gonna pay," Havoc stated darkly. "Oh, he's gonna pay."
Chaos emerged from his own chambers, looking as groggy and dazed as the rest. He yawned, scratching his neck. "Ohayo gozaimasu," he said.
His eyes widened as Hysteria frantically bolted down the hallway, leaping right on top of him, and sending them both crashing onto the floor.
"Chaos-chan!" Hysteria said. "Make the bell-chans stop!"
"Itaaiii!!" Chaos groaned, rubbing the back of his head.
Hysteria giggled. "Oops! Gomen nasai, Chaos-chan!"
"What's the meaning of this?!" Havoc exclaimed.
"It's our alarm clock," Chaos replied, snapping his fingers. The bells abruptly ceased. "Today's a Monday morning, and I suggest that if you guys do actually want to see what life at Jyuban High is like, you'll be ready to leave by seven twenty. School starts at quarter after eight.
And we *walk* there."
"You know," Ruckus remarked to his twin. "Right now I'm really envious of Mayhem and Carnage, since they decided not to attend Jyuban."
Riot shrugged. "We might as well get ready. Our public awaits."
Havoc muttered something under his breath, adjourning to his own quarters. And after spending five more minutes of calming Hysteria down, Chaos managed to get back to his own chambers to get dressed for another day in Tokyo.
Havoc yawned in front of his mirror, which reflected back a tired elf. He flexed in front of the mirror for a moment, then misled. He was ready for a day at this prison!
In a few moments Havoc had on the standard navy uniform that Chaos had said was what all the human males had to wear. He swiped his fingers over his ears, and they rounded out. He grinned at the mirror, hoisting his Zanba onto his shoulders.
"Should I wreck myself now?" he asked the mirror, throwing his blade up in the air.
When it came back down, it was a silver chain link with a tiny blade clasped to it. Hopefully they allow chains at this prison," remarked Havoc to the mirror. He flexed a few times into the mirror.
"Stop that; you'll break it."
Havoc rolled his eyes. "Ha-ha, Chaos." he couldn't see him, but knew he was around his room somewhere.
"Just pooped in to let you know that we're leaving in about ten minutes. Do you have a human name for yourself yet"
Havoc blinked. "I didn't know we're supposed to have those."
Chaos laughed. "I can see it now. Our sensei stands up to introduce us, and you say, "Konnichiwa, my name's Havoc. Everyone will LOVE that!"
Havoc thought hard, the smiled. "I have a name, Chaos. Chikanarino Shi."
There was silence than, " 'near thunder peal of death'? Are you sure that isn't a bit much, Havoc?"
"Just call me Shi," said 'Shi', smiling. "I'm ready to go."
The twins returned to their realm, an everlasting sunrise painted the sky with brilliant hues of orange and yellow. Riot yawned and stretched, taking a moment to appreciate the golden glow of the morning sun. The gentle rhythm of splashing water drew his attention to the center monument of their realm. A magical waterfall that fell seemingly from the clouds, reflecting the colors of the rainbow.
Ruckus gazed at his reflection in the falling water, paying special attention to his elven facial features. Leaning forward he dipped his head into the water and washed his face with an elven oil. Pulling his hands away from his face Ruckus grinned at his reflection, the angular features of his face now softened and more rounded. He ran his hands over his ears and they magically rounded off to appear more human.
Ruckus shook his head from side to side, his hair darkening and growing in length so that it was a golden brown, with a long ponytail. Finally he pulled out a pair of glasses and put them on.
Ruckus smiled, admiring himself in the mirror.
Riot whistled jokingly, "Looking good, you should turn some heads."
Ruckus smirked. "Is there anytime when I'm not?"
"Perhaps not," Riot replied, "but a little to elaborate for my tastes, simplicity is the key here."
With that Riot snapped his fingers and cherry blossoms enveloped him, a twister of pink and white. As abruptly as it began, the twister died away and Riot walked over to his brother to get a look at himself
in the mirror-like waterfall. His facial features were also rounded off along with his ears, but not as much as his Ruckus. Riot's sandy blonde hair was shortened and looked more wild and unkept than his brother's.
Ruckus nodded to his brother, "At least these school uniforms aren't too tacky, though style is definitely not what they had in mind when they designed them."
Riot nodded in agreement, "Hai, well we best be off, school starts soon." They snapped in unison and disappeared from their realm, leaving the trees to themselves.
The twins reappeared in the main hall and greeted their fellow elven. Chaos and Havoc were both waiting in the main corridor, both dressed up in the black uniforms of Jyuban. Havoc growled as he yanked on his tight collar.
"Just how do they breathe in these things?" he said.
Chaos shrugged. "You know, I asked that exact same thing when I first had to wear one of those. That's why I'm keeping mine undone until we get to class." He gestured to his open jacket and collar, revealing the white shirt beneath.
"Yare yare," Havoc remarked, hoisting his Zanba sword onto his shoulder. "We never had to go through this a few thousand years ago."
"Um, Havoc?" Chaos said. "Loose the Blade. Trust me on this one: the teachers may not approve of that in class."
Havoc rolled his eyes in final exasperation, lobbing the enormous sword over his shoulder as if it was a small toy. The blade sank into the wall with a resounding Thud! that shook the hall.
Chaos smacked his forehead. "Why do I even try sometimes?"
"Well," Riot said. "We're ready to go, though these uniforms could be a bit more comfortable."
Ruckus grinned, "I presume we'll need human names, so mine shall be Ryoushin Shijin."
Riot scowled at the idea, "So I guess that makes me Isamu Shijin."
"The Mindfull Poet, and the Courageous Poet," Chaos remarked with a smirk. "Why do those choices of names somehow not surprise me?"
Havoc rolled his eyes. "Fine fine! Let's get to school already."
Chaos shook his head. "Not yet. Where's Hysteria?"
"Do you really want to tempt fate and find out?" Ruckus inquired.
Hysteria skipped over to her closet giddily humming and daydreaming about the full day ahead of her. There was nothing that could come between her and her kawaii games, or having a good time at the school. She wondered to herself what could possibly be taught in the schools now. After all, schools have often changed in the years she's been alive. When Hysteria pulled out the school uniform, she wrinkled her nose in disgust. "Oh, this is just so partially kawaii. Hysteria should modify this outfit into a kawaii little skirt and shirt!"
She took the clothing and put it on, editing it on her whim. She started off by making the color just slightly more rich, and then enhancing the black bow to droop just right to accentuate her bust instead of cover her neck. She put on a pair of black shoes with an ankle strap that she had seen in a magazine somewhere, and found that with her knee high white socks, she looked presentable. The biggest improvement, however, was making the shirt form fitting so that she didn't have to puff it out over her skirt.
"There!!" Hysteria cried as she gazed at herself in the mirror, "Much more kawaii, ne? Oh, Hysteria needs to look like a person-chan, doesn't she?"
She grabbed one of her plushie dolls to get some ideas. She didn't want to look like she was dead, so she quickly abandoned that idea. Instead, she looked in the mirror, and decided to round out her features a little more. Soon, she had a beautifully narrow face, and round aqua eyes. She ran her hands over her ears and they became more-egg shaped. She took her hair and placed it up in a ponytail, letting a few waves of hair fall down into tendrils around her face and neck. She proceeded to bead the top of her ponytail with gold beads so that her hair looked like a shimmering waterfall spilling out of a gold fountain.
Hysteria blinked blankly at her image in the mirror. She started to get a look of impatience and was visibly getting frustrated. "Ano, Hysteria needs a person name. Waaah!! Why can't Hysteria decide? They're all just so kawaii!!!"
The colors of her room shifted with her frustration from pastels to almost neon pinks, and hues of purple. She glanced back at the posters decorating her walls. No, another idol singer's name wouldn't do!
"Oh! Hysteria has just the perfect kawaii name," said Hysteria as she melodramatically bowed to herself in the mirror, "Hello kawaii little Keiko Sachiko!!"
Abruptly, she grabbed a red book-bag from under her bed and darted out of the room and off to school. As she ran into the hallway, she heard Havoc say, "Let's go to school already." Echoing down to her ears.
"Waah!!! Not without kawaii little Keiko-chan!!!" screamed Hysteria as she ran into the room and leveled Chaos to the floor, for the second time this morning. Hysteria detached herself from Chaos as he asked her for her full name.
Ruckus winced. "Now that had to hurt."
"Good morning to you too, Hysteria," Chaos groaned, picking himself up off the floor.
"Hysteria is now Keiko Sachiko. Kawaii, ne!?" Hysteria stated and bobbed up and down filled with excitement. "Can we go now, Chaos-chan?"
Chaos gave Hysteria, or Keiko, a strange look as she spoke her name. Needless to say, it had a rather poetic sound and almost fit. "Na-ni?
One who is adored joyously?" asked Havoc.
"Uh-huh!! What are all your person names?" Keiko asked everyone else.
"Isamu," Riot said.
"Ryoshin," Ruckus said.
Havoc shrugged. "Call me Shi."
Hysteria turned to Chaos expectantly. "Chaos-chan?"
Chaos blinked. "Ano...what is my name anyways?" He paused. "You know, I think I completely forgot the alias I used at Jyuban High last week. Ara, ara, I can just think up a new name and then toss an illusion to cover my tracks."
"So then," Riot asked. "What's in a name?"
Chaos grinned, his eyes suddenly turning gold, pupils becoming slitted like a feline's. "Omaki," he stated, lips curling up to reveal a pair of sharpened canines. "Call me the Wolf."
The Tokyo sun was rising up in the air to greet the group of newcomers as they sauntered across the city. Five new strangers already familiar with the modern world of skyscrapers and automobiles walked towards Jyuban High School.
Chaos glanced up at the twins, his eyes having returned to their deep emerald hue. Riot and Ruckus were pleasantly walking along the high stone fences that divided the roadways from the uneven ground of the parks, easily a good two feet above his head.
"You two are just lucky you've got the agility of a pair of cats," he remarked, sighing as he draped his school-case over his shoulder. "I'd hate to use some magik to heal a broken leg or neck in my current state."
"We're already late thanks to Hysteria," Havoc stated. "It's not like treating injuries would make a difference."
Embarrassed, Hysteria stuck out her tongue. "Gomen nasai!"
"Oh, by the way," Havoc added. "I won some kind of tickets to a Three Lights concert later today. Sounds like it would make a good game, so don't be surprised if I cut classes later on." He turned to Chaos, eyes narrowing. "I trust you don't have a problem with that?"
Chaos waved it aside. "Hai hai. I'll cover your absence if you leave. Just this time please try to leave something more than a large hole in the earth when you're finished, Havoc." Chaos abruptly paused, causing Hysteria to run right into him.
"Chaos-chan!" Hysteria sniffled, rubbing her sore forehead.
"Ne, Havoc?" Chaos inquired, snapping his fingers to produce a Three Lights concert poster. "Is this the group?"
"I think so," Havoc replied, examining the poster.
"Oooh!" Hysteria exclaimed excitedly. "Those Three Light-chans look just soooo kawaii, ne? Ne? Ne?"
"It'll be enough of a game for Havoc just trying to restrain Hysteria from leaping onto the stage and dragging the hapless idol singers off the stage," Ruckus muttered to his brother.
Chaos appraised the poster once more, shaking his head. Something was awry here, and for the life of him he couldn't figure out what it was.
"Strange," he remarked.
"Deja vu flash?" Riot inquired.
"I don't think so," Chaos answered. "But this guy right here, the one with the long silver-like hair; I can't help but think he looks like that new Sailor Senshi who tried to fight Saturn at the masquerade."
Ruckus laughed. "Chaos, I think that hole through your chest knocked your senses out too. In case you didn't notice, the Senshi are female and that singer in the poster is male."
Everyone chuckled at that.
"Laugh it up," Chaos said, trying to look unimpressed. However he broke down in laughter a few moments later. "Ara ara, let's get to Jyuban."
And with that he tossed the poster over his shoulder, the five Elven warriors from the Court of Chaos fast approaching a new resident playground for their games.
* * *
Her cat clock meowed seven times, as Ami reached out from under the covers to shut it off...and succeeded in falling off the bed.
About twenty minutes later, Mizuno Ami was walking to school, reading a rune book with the card secured safely in her briefcase...
It was late again. Usagi didn't mind if she wasn't on time at school. Her mind was confused and her heart was crying for the man she loved and betrayed. She walked slowly, careless. What else matters now?
Ami (sigh, as usual) was there on time, but waited in homeroom for Usagi. There was a substitute teacher there that day; he probably wouldn't accept Usagi-chan's tardiness. She kept her nose in the math book...which hid the rune book. Somehow, she couldn't put the thing down! It excited her, which was a surprising thing in itself, given the week she'd had.
The door opened slowly, which caught Ami's attention. She had expected Usagi to floor it into the classroom, but instead- Her eyes widened.
Usagi's eyes were puffy, but a smile was pasted onto her face. Her clothes were a bit ruffled, and her odangoes weren't up to scruff. They were loose, hanging near the ears, causing her hair to trail on the floor.
The teacher was unimpressed. "Miss Tsukino, you're late."
"I know" mumbled Usagi, taking her seat.
Ami pushed up her glasses, and leaned over. "Usagi-chan, where have you been? What's the matter?"
Usagi didn't say a word, but put her head down on the desk, and crossed her arms, blocking any chance for conversation.
Ami blinked a few times. ~Okay...she'll say something in about an hour or so, when we have break...~ She went back to reading the rune book.
*
"Everyone please be seated," the homeroom teacher said, adjusting his spectacles. "We seem to be having a sudden surge of transfer students. Last week it was--"
He paused in consulting his attendence sheet. Finally after shuffling through the papers a few times he looked directly at Chaos, who was leaning back in his chair. "Excuse me, but what was your name again?" Chaos grinned. "Why, certainly."
He stood up and moved away from his desk. "Makkurono Okami- san. And believe me it's a pleasure to be here."
Wolf of the Darkness.
And with such a title he prowled between the rows of desks, eyes scanning the students who were raptly watching him. Some out of fascination for his performance, others perhaps out of romantic thoughts...and other still darkly waiting to see what new game he might pull out of his sleeve.
Chaos paused, leaning down in front of Makoto's desk. He playfully winked at her, his hand opening up to reveal a blossoming red rose which he handed to her. Makoto's fuming expression softened slightly into one of confusion; he knew she recognized him through the illusionary guise of a human. There was little doubt any other Senshi present would recognize him for what he really was. In fact he wouldn't have had it any other way.
All to make the game more interesting.
"Can you believe that?" Riot muttered to his twin. "He just stole our move."
"It is somewhat our own fault," Ruckus answered quietly. "We taught him that trick after all."
The teacher uneasily cleared his throat. "Yes, thank you. You may take your seat now."
Chaos bowed respectfully to the teacher, reclining back in his chair and awaiting the presentation of the rest of his court. For interest's sake the transfer papers had registered them all in the homeroom he was in; here Sailor Senshi were also present.
Havoc stepped forward. "Chikanarino Shi," he stated, eyeing the females in the room. To his disappointment he noted no one there was the soldier of Saturn.
Ruckus grinned, bowing to the class. "Ryoushin Shijin."
Riot shot his brother a dark look before taking his own bow. "Isamu Shijin."
A few girls started whispering amongst themselves over the twins. Chaos smirked; no doubt those two would have the time of their lives with this crowd. Havoc would probably see if there were any local gangs nearby, just so he could thrash someone. But as for Hysteria....
"Ohayo!" Hysteria belted out at the top her lungs, causing the rest of the Elves alongside her to recoil back in surprise. "My name's Sachiko Keiko-chan, and it's going to be sooo fun to be in such a kawaii little class like this, ne? Ne? Ne?"
Chaos smacked his forehead. "Baka."
"Th-Thank you for such a lively introduction," the teacher said, trying to gather up the papers he had lobbed into the air when Hysteria shouted out her greetings. "Now if you may find a desk and take your seats, we can begin the class."
Beforehand they had made certain there would be enough seats to accommodate the rest of the Court. Havoc took a desk at the rear of the class; that way if he felt so inclined to sleep out of sheer boredom he could do it without getting noticed...too much. Riot and Ruckus took desks in separate rows, yet each one in the midst of a large number of female students. Hysteria got stuck with a desk at the front of the class, yet she seemed too excited to care that the teacher was about two steps away from her.
Chaos glanced down as a note materialized. He quickly opened it up. It was from Havoc: 'You figured Hysteria would have enough fun driving all the teachers insane, ne?' Chaos had to keep from laughing aloud when he read that; Havoc had figured him out perfectly.
The class began.
*
Later, as Ami predicted, the sub let them have break and left to grab a cup of tea for himself. The students mingled. Ami went directly over to Usagi, and rubbed her shoulder. "Usagi-chan, daijobu?"
Usagi mumbled something, so Ami bent down. "Na ni?"
"Ami, please, leave me alone...I'm tired, and I would like to sleep."
Ami frowned. "Usagi, you KNOW the sub will harp on you sleeping in class. I suggest you wake up, and fast."
"Oh, be quiet, Ami. I'm not tired, alright? I'm just having a bad morning, okay?!" cried Usagi as she lifted her head.
Ami stood, and took a step back. "U-Usagi-chan...I just wanted to know if you're fine. You're not exactly yourself-"
"Look who's talking," said Usagi, quickly turning to avoid having Ami see tears.
"N-na ni?"
"What's with YOU, Ami? You didn't want to go with us to the ball; you went by yourself, then avoided us like the plague! And also...you came in with YATEN on your arm!"
Ami blushed. "S-so?"
"SOOOOOO?! Ami, why didn't you tell us you had a new beau? But I can understand why; you guys were Splitsville before the night had even begun."
Ami was taken aback. "U-Usagi-chan?! How can you say-"
"Because it's probably true! Poor Yaten came over to us, blue as the way he described your costume, and said you had DITCHED him for some ELF! Then, to TRY and make him feel better, Mako-chan danced with him, but instead, he went over to the bar and went crazy or something. And where were you? Hitting Hotaru-chan over the head with a vase with the aid of Setsuna's blind date, Michael! Then you hang out with the elves EVEN more, then Mamo-chan and I had to cut our date short because we had to take you home..." Usagi choked up when she mentioned Mamo-chan. She still felt like she had betrayed him, and began crying openly. A few students turned to see all the hulabaloo.
Ami was hurt deeply by Usagi's words. ~ I ruined their date? Yaten called me beautiful? Makoto...danced with him? Hang out with the elves?!~
Usagi stood. "Never mind, Ami! Are you happy, now! I asked you to leave me alone!" she cried.
Ami was angry, but she said, "Usagi-chan....I'm sorry if I ruined your date, but if so, maybe you two could make it up-"
"There's nothing we can salvage, Ami! There's nothing we can do! Everything is lost! " sobbed Usagi hysterically. "Besides, you couldn't help if you tried!"
"N-na ni?!"
"Oh, why did you even bring this up?! You don't know a thing about love!! You're incapable of love!!" with that, Usagi sank back down, sobbing her heart out, crying, "Mamo-chan, Mamo-chan!"
Ami backed up into a female student, who frowned. "What did you do to her, geek?"
Even in high school, the taunts didn't stop. And now this was an exception to heap on the insults.
Another came over, and hugged Usagi. "She might be simple, but no reason to hurt her feelings!" the girl shouted.
"Or make it so that we have to suffer her wailing," said the first.
Ami spun, her eyes brimming. It seemed everyone was closing in on her, madly closing, too close-
"Excuse me," she whimpered, picking up her stuff and fleeing.
The door flew open, and Ami ran over the sub, leaving books in her wake, but clutching a few important things...lunch, the rune book, and…the card.
She ran & ran, not choosing a direction, but passed by Makoto's class and she peeked in the window briefly. Then, Ami kept running. She turned a corner, and ran smack into a boy, knocking him down.
"Hey!"
"Gomen!" she cried, forgetting her lunch and sprinting away. The boy on the floor blinked a few times, and was helped up by another boy...his double.
"Do you think that was who I think it was, brother?"
He smiled, while allowing himself to be pulled up. "Hai hai, I know it was."
After running for about a straight twenty minutes, Ami collapsed in front of her house on the lawn, and sobbed her heart out.
"Incapable...of...love?" She turned her head to the sky. "Kami, I thought I'd be blessed when I found out I was a Sailor Senshi! Now, now...everyone thinks I'm weak, unfeeling, uncaring...and I claim that!
I have been unemotional, undesirable...but I've never been unloved before...until now...I CAN'T STAND IT!" Ami screamed, picking herself up, and running into the house.
She trembled all over; Incapable. INCAPABLE!! WEAK! GEEK! NERD!!
She gripped her head, and cried, "I am NOT!!" flinging something to the floor. It bounced once...and that's when Ami lunged for it.
A few moments later, Ami was atop her roof, angry tears coursing down her cheeks, her eyes were gray and stormy behind her glasses, as she held the card above her head. The wind was cold and icy, as it blew her hair and skirt about.
"I'll show THEM," she whispered fiercely. "I will show them all what I am capable of!"
With that, she snapped the card in half.
*
Usagi just realized what had just happened. She had insulted Ami. And although she wasn't feeling good, that wasn't enough reason to act as she did. "I'm so silly. Ami's one of my best friends and she just wanted to help me...She doesn't deserve what I told her"
Usagi's eyes were full with tears: "First, I betrayed Mamo-chan, and now I hurt Ami-chan's feelings!" She cried. "What else am I going to do?"
Usagi left the room as everyone looked at her. She ran to the entrance of Jyuban High and slipped. Now she remained there, sat, full of sadness and feeling completely alone.
* * *
Ami waited in fear and anxiety, mixed with bewilderment here and there...
Nothing. By her guess it had been maybe five minutes, but now she was impatient.
~An elf who goes out of his way to find out my name and gives me a business card. He said he would come!~
Ami slowly slid back down into her bedroom window, and looked longingly at the two crystalline pieces. Without a word, she let them fall to the blue shag carpet, and flopped onto her bed, kicking off her shoes. She had another attack.
"I'm actually SKIPPING SCHOOL!" said Ami out loud, in surprise. Her eyes misted, when she answered back, "Well, gee. It's been a lot of firsts for me this week."
She suddenly felt feverish, and sat up. Pulling off her clothes, she drew herself a bath.
* * *
The bell rang painfully loud and the students walked back to their classes. And that's when it happened.
Ruckus smiled to his brother, "Cover for me."
Riot nodded understandingly and headed back to class with Havoc and Chaos. Ruckus turned a corner, making sure no one was near. Snapping his fingers, cherry blossoms rained down around him, and he disappeared. A student walked by and noticed the cherry blossoms on the floor, but paid them no attention, deciding it was a gag or some other joke and continued to his class.
"Where's he going?" Chaos asked
Riot grinned at the Playking, "Ami snapped the card."
Chaos only nodded in reply. "Be gentle with her, though, please? You know how...'fascinated' Mayhem is with her."
Riot chuckled to himself. "We wouldn't have it any other way."
* * *
It had been about twenty minutes since Ami had snapped the card; she should have suspected it was another game, another hoax. As she sank into the furo, she just let herself relax, and feel the warmth of water all around her. Unfortunately, it was the only warmth she had to herself.
Ami's eyes shot open as she became alert of two things. One, someone was knocking on her door. Two, she could have sworn that she felt a peculiar draft in the bathroom.
The knocking continued...
Ami's eyes shot open as she became alert of two things. One, someone was knocking on her door. Two, she could have sworn that she felt a peculiar draft in the bathroom.
The knocking continued...then stopped.
Ami sighed heavily, she didn't want to be disturbed. After a moment of thought, she stood up and reached for a towel, stopping short when she noticed a few cherry blossoms fall into the water. She froze, and slowly let her eyes trail to the ceiling to see Ruckus casually sitting there.
Ami let out a scream and slipped, falling back into the tub. She quickly covered her private areas with her arms as best she could and looked up at the ceiling again, but the elf was not there. Her eyes darted around the bathroom for some evidence that Ruckus had indeed been there, but there was none, not even the cherry blossoms she thought she had seen. Ami felt a wave of fear on her, and quickly got out of the furo and threw on a towel. The cool air caused Ami to shiver as she made her way to her bedroom.
~He saw me, I *know* that ELF saw me. No one has ever seen me without my clothes!~ Ami thought angrily to herself.
Her bedroom was tidy and clean as always. Ami noticed the window was open, and a chilly breeze was blowing in from outside. She quickly walked over to close it, but it was jammed and wouldn't budge.
"Great! What else will go wrong for me today!?" Ami stomped over to her closet and withdrew a plain blue shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans. She pulled her wet hair up into a ponytail, then quickly changed into her clothes. She attacked the window with more force, and could have sworn she heard someone say "Ow!" as she slammed it down.
Ami turned, but no one was in the room. She rubbed her damp hands on her jeans, trying to warm them as she walked over to her mirror and took a long, scrutinizing look at herself.
A flashback of her dreams, and the arguments with Yaten, Usagi, and Rei came back to her. Ami looked away suddenly, "It's no wonder I'm not wanted. The weakest Inner Senshi, incapable of love...And compared to the rest of the soldiers, no man would so much as stare my way."
"Actually, I think you're rather beautiful," said Ami's reflection.
"Huh?!"Ami backed away from the mirror, startled.
The Ami in the mirror faded out, revealing Ruckus, smiling at her from the mirror, trapped inside it somehow. Ami found a tinge of courage and stepped forward accusingly, "You would think such a thing after seeing me naked!"
Ruckus only smiled, "Dear Ami, for all the centuries I've lived, I have seen many a woman without clothing. Trust me, any judgement I make will not be based on your...female components."
Ami crossed her arms in a huff, and snapped, "Well, me and my 'female components' want to know what you're doing here!"
"You asked me to be here."
Ami'a face took on an angry mask. "I did not!" she replied, indignant.
"You broke the card, did you not?"
Ami looked to the floor where she could see the two halves still sitting there, her anger melted away and she nodded. But when she looked up again, the elf was gone.
Ami threw up her hands in exasperation. "Where are you now?!"
She waited and waited, but no reply came. Ami flopped down on her bed, and buried her face deep in one pillow. "Kami, am I losing my insanity on top of everything else?"
"Madame, don't say such things to yourself! You know they aren't true!"
Ami brought up her head, and turned it to her clock radio. A tiny Ruckus was perched atop it, and was hugging himself. "It grieves my heart to hear a woman of surpassing intelligence and beauty verbally degrade herself, in such the fashion as you are now." The tiny Ruckus then flipped backwards, disappearing, as the French doors in Ami's bedroom blew open, sending a wave of red and blue cherry blossoms into her room.
She blinked at the sight, then walked out onto the balcony where she could see much of her neighborhood, and even the school in the distance. The wind blew calmly through her hair as she thought,
~Now where did he go? Why is everyone abandoning me?~ she thought to herself as a sad tune played on the wind.
But it was real, she could actually hear a song in the wind. A voice accompanied it, beautiful and full of sorrow. It was a melodic cry of sheer, wordless anguish. Other voices joined in, mingling and harmonizing in an outpouring of overwhelming grief. The song pierced her soul, and the walls within Ami's heart crumbled; she could bare no more.
Ami cried bitter tears as her whole body shook from grief. She felt a gentle hand on her shoulder, and she turned to see Ruckus. He pulled Ami to him, and she buried her head in his chest, crying over all the wrong doings in life; her life.
"It's all my fault," she whimpered.
"No, no, it's not your fault, Ami-chan. It's theirs; they don't understand you. They don't appreciate you the way a woman of your stature should be appreciated."
Ami suddenly felt a little warm, as a flashback from a dream hit her...
Usagi and Rei ran into her home, followed by Luna. "Ami-chan, it's a game! A ruse! It's all fake!! Don't-"
Ami's eyes narrowed, as she said slowly. "You're right...It's all their fault."
Ruckus gave her a squeeze, "Of course it is, a woman of your beauty and intelligence does not deserve to be treated in such a way. However, we Elves know how to treat a woman right."
He ran a hand across Ami's cheek. Ami blushed in spite of herself, she looked up into his wintry blue eyes, piercing and dreaming all at once. Ruckus smiled, "Come with me."
Ami didn't even take a moment to consider, those eyes held her fast, and she felt no fear.
"Hai. Take me with you." Ruckus nodded and cherry blossoms twirled carelessly around them. In moments they were enveloped in a twister of pink and white, and they disappeared from the balcony.
As the two merged from the petals to enter the elven realm, Ruckus smiled. ~The Senshi are going to mad at us for this one~, he thought with a laugh.

Havoc, called Shi, slept through class, but woke up once the teacher called "Break!" Shi smiled and replied loudly, "Which desk?"
The teacher was not amused...neither were the twins or Chaos. Shi went back to sleep in embarrassment.
He awoke to the sound of two girls arguing, so he went over two rows and to the front to see Hysteria. She was decorating her desk with stickers.
"Ano, Keiko-chan, I don't think that we should do that."
Her eyes teared up. "Awwww, but this desk is sooooooo un-kawaii, Hav-"
Shi clamped a hand over Keiko's mouth, and looked around to see if anyone heard that. Instead, he noticed that the blue-haired girl that was arguing before had gone, and that the blonde one was being talked to by a white haired girl. He looked at Chaos, and saw him staring back. He mouthed to him, I'm leaving, this bites. Chaos gave him a pleading look. One more class; we're done!

Shinrai Akari, the Senshi of the Decrescent Light just stood up in front a park and a blue sky. All the Light Sailor Senshi had gathered yesterday because of a coincidence. But no matter, they were together to fight again. To help the Moon Princess and the others against the Elven Court of Chaos.
Yes, it wasn't a game. It was a fight. She knew that the Elves were capable of a lot of suffering, a lot of destruction. She didn't consider them evil…but she felt she couldn't pardon them for all the things they did to her Queen, to her people, to her friends, to herself.
That's why she couldn’t just let them ran free in the city of Tokyo, but now all was different from the old times back in the Gold Millenium.
She was prepared for everything, even the worst. However, she had a mission to fulfill.
She walked to the entrance of Jyuban High, she was surprised to discover someone with blond hair at the entrance, sat. Would that girl possibly be the Silver Age Princess?
Usagi was looking at the floor; thinking about so much things at the same time. She wasn't crying, she had cried so much that she doesn't have more tears.
"Serenity-hime." Shinrai said.
Usagi lifted her head.
Shinrai blinked, a princess with a lonely presence and a lost gaze, that wasn't the way she imagined her.
Usagi looked back at her. A silver haired girl with honey eyes had called her by her royal name. She stood up and tried to smile: "Who are you?"
"I'm the Ancient Light Senshi Akari Shinrai. Sailor Decrescent Light." She answered.
"Ancient Senshi, just as Sailor Earth..."
"Shade has talked to you I see, Serenity-hime. I came here because we Sailor Senshi of the Golden Age, have gathered yesterday, a mere coincidence I guess. I came to meet you, Princess of the Silver Age. To tell you something important."
Usagi sighed. It was pleasant to know that at least something was going on right. The Ancient Senshi were now together to help them against the powerful new enemies. Now she felt better.
"Akari Shinrai." Usagi repeated the name of the girl. "I'm glad to meet you"
"So do I, your royal highness." Shinrai said.
"Just Usagi. Usagi-chan." She corrected.
"Sere...I mean, Usagi-sama...Usagi-san...Usagi-chan. I know Sailor Eclipse has helped you to get the Ancient magiks, but in order to make they work their full power, you need Ancient Weapons. We must find the nine Elementals and search them as soon as possible."
"As soon as possible." Usagi repeated the last words. She had many personal problems, but as a Sailor Senshi she had responsibilities, especially if she wanted no one to suffer as she was doing.
Shinrai was worried about her princess. She could read in Usagi's eyes a deep sadness she was hiding inside. Deep sadness. But she couldn't ask her what was going on, she respected the princess' silence.
"I have something for you" Shinrai smiled.
"You do?" Usagi excitedly ask, at that moment, she forget the pain inside her soul.
Shinrai brought out a beautiful silver wand. Long wings sprouted from it sides. A golden moon was shining at the top of it. Nine diamonds were enchased in the stick.
"How beautiful."
"It's called the Millenium Winged Wand. It was Selene's Wand."
"You mean, the Moon Goddess?" Usagi said, looking every detail the wand had. "Sugoi!"
Shinrai smiled. She had not only given the precious weapon she guarded for her, but she make the princess happy, as she had to be.
"However, it's incomplete, you still need the Heart of Selenity."
"What's the Heart of Selenity?" Usagi was now pretty curious.
"It's a power that comes from Selene"
"What means that?"
"That means the White Moon Princess, that is you, has to use the Silver Imperium Crystal to melt the six talismans' magic."
"Six? They're only three...aren't they?"
Shinrai was about to answer her question when the High School's bell rang. Many students went out of the High laughing or talking and running or walking. Usagi looked at Shinrai, knowing very well that the conversation has to be finished later on; however, Shinrai needed to tell her princess about so many things...
"Usagi, why don't you come with me so we can talk?" she asked.
"I have something to do before." Usagi said, hiding the wand in her briefcase. Now that she was in calm, she needed to find Ami-chan and apologize for everything she had say.
"OK, then we might..." Shinrai suddenly stopped. Her body froze in a second, she felt a cold air enclosing her entire self.
"What is it?" Usagi said, looking from one side to another, trying to find out what was happening.
Shinrai didn't answered, her eyes were directed to one lone person between that ocean of young people. And with an equally haunting look on his face, the Elven lord of Chaos stared back.
Chaos' eyes locked on her, his jaw dropping slightly as he gazed upon her graceful form. "Masaka...."
Riot curiously looked up at Chaos, and then at the girl he was fixated on. "Should we know her?" he inquired. "She's not in our homeroom class."
"It can't be," Chaos whispered. "Sailor Decrescent Light."
That caught Riot's full attention. "She's an Ancient Light Senshi? Chaos, those soldiers existed when we did--almost two and a half millennia ago. You yourself said Decrescent Light was killed back in that time."
Chaos nodded, something within his chest tightening. Those honey eyes staring back at him. So long ago they had been stricken with tears as he turned his back. To become the last of the great Playkings. To let her die alone.
"She was. Shinrai...what are you doing here?"
Shinrai had looked at him at the ball. And she thought she didn't care that much, although that after the Masquerade ended, she couldn't sleep the rest of the night. And now that she was looking at him so close...as the human she had known a long time ago...some forgotten emotions came back to her mind and her heart.
Usagi waved a hand before Shinrai's eyes:
"Shinrai? Shinrai, daijoubu?" Usagi asked, trying to get back her attention. Shinrai blinked and shocked her head. Then, her gaze went back to him for a few seconds.
"That...guy..." She said almost to herself, but Usagi could hear her. She turned and saw the one Shinrai was talking about. It was that transfer student:
"You mean Okami?" Usagi asked, pointing out to him.
"Okami..." Shinrai repeated. "Hai, Okami" she chuckled nervously.
"Do you know him?" Usagi asked. "C'mon let's go there so you can talk to him."
"NO!"
Usagi looked at her, surprised.
"I mean...maybe another day..." Shinrai said with an uneasy smile in her lips.
"Why not today?" Usagi insisted.
"Usagi!" Tenchi said, running until she reached her. "Shinrai-chan?"
"Tenchi-chan" Shinrai sighed inwardly, Tenchi had saved her from a very difficult encounter she was and wasn't wishing at the same time. "You must come with me, now" She added, they better go, or she couldn't be able to control herself anymore.
"OK..." Tenchi said as she was almost pulled by Shinrai. "Ja ne, Usagi!"
"Ja ne." Usagi said.
What happened between Shinrai and Okami?

H-huh? Where am I?" Mamoru looked around his surroundings. He found himself in a strange star lit zone with nothing but marble pillars and the night sky before him.
"Endymion . . . " Mamoru froze in place. He knew that voice, but from where?
"Prince Endymion . . . ." Mamoru looked left to right in search of the voice. In front of Mamoru, an image appeared, in the shape of a man. At first, the features were fuzzy, but slowly came into focus.
Mamoru's eyes widened.
"Nephrite?!" Mamoru tensed for battle and waited for the expected attack. But, Nephrite just stood still, waiting for Mamoru to calm down.
"I am not here to fight you, rather to warn you. Once, the four generals were your devoted servants, until corrupted by the Dark Kingdom. In death, we are ready to protect you again. I am here to warn you that Jedite is planning to move against Sailor Star Healer."
"Yaten?" Mamoru was confused. "What about Yaten?"
"Jedite has discovered that Yaten Kou is really the granddaughter of the former Queen Metallia. He is planning to abduct Yaten from the Three Lights Concert that will be held soon. You must hurry for
Jedite will be disguised as . . ."
Mamoru's eyes shot open as he woke up. At first he just stayed where he was, because something was odd. He was dripping wet. As his eyes focused, he spotted Michael standing by the bed, with an empty glass of water in his hand.
"Look, Mamoru, you can rock-on to the voices in your head anytime you like, but I am trying to get some sleep. Could you, and whoever else is in there, possibly keep it down a little?"
Mamoru sat up in bed and wiped the water off of his face. He stood and went into the living room to get the phone. Michael groggily followed him.
"Who in the world are you possibly calling?" Michael said, stifling a yawn.
"There is a lot of trouble brewing today. I have to find SOMEONE who can help foil Jedite's plans." Mamoru was trying to determine what number to dial.
"But, isn't this a school day?" Michael pointed out. "Who could possibly be home now?"

A dark foggy fog covered the ground that Sailor StarFighter and Sailor StarMaker were standing upon. They looked around for possible signs of trouble.
"I've found one!!", Sailor StarMaker called out, holding up a sign. StarFighter took it into his hands.
"The road to instant death?!", She said, reading the sign. They sighed in unison and continued walking. Sailor StarHealer should be around here somewhere....
"Yaten!!", StarFighter called out.
"Beware....", A disembodied voice whispered.
"What?", She answered.
"Beware....of...", Sailor StarMaker was unimpressed.
"of...?" She asked, flipping back her long brown hair.
"ME!!", The voice shouted as it's source lept out at the two
StarLights, baring down on them with his, or hers sword...Hell, StarFighter and StarMaker weren't even sure that the cloaked figure was even human.
A light green lazer replaced the part where steel would have been as the figure overpowered Sailor StarMaker and forced her on her back. StarMaker sat up, only to be dragged to her feet by the figure. The figure stood one foot below Maker, even though they were on the same level ground. The figure wrapped it's human-like fingers around Maker's throat.
"Wait...Before you kill me. I would like to know who you are first..."
Sailor StarMaker gasped in bewteen words. The figure laughed as it threw the cloak back to reveal glowing green eyes and flowing silver hair.
"Yaten?!" They gasped, unable to accept the idea that their own friend, their own sister would attack them.
"Heh. Who'd you expect? Sailor Galaxia", She snapped, tightening her grip around StarMaker's throat.
"Yaten, why?!", StarFighter asked.
"Are you mad?", followed StarMaker. Yaten only laughed again.
"Mad? Of course I'm mad, Taiki!! I'm amd that either of you helped me during that fight! I'm mad that you couldn't give a flying Frank Flip about me!"
"Yaten, snap out of it!!" Sailor StarFighter yelled.
Everything started to go black for Yaten as he woke up to find himself face first in a vat of developing fluid. The teacher, Mr Oaks, stood behind him, watching Yaten fling a strip of negatives from his face. The rest of the classroom chuckled to see Mr. High and Mighty shake the rest of the fluid off of his fingers.
"Taking a nap I see, Mr. Kou...", The other classmates burst out in laughter as they saw Yaten blush with embarrassment. He didn't want this, and he'd be damned if he needed it.
It wasn't just being dumped by Ami that made his pain worse, but it was the meer fact that he tried opening up to someone, and having everything thrown into his face.
He needed this like he needed the other fifty thousand problems that faced him: Two of them were about his father...and the other was about that guy he fought as his female alias: Sailor StarHealer.
All of these things caused him to fall asleep in Photography class: his favorite class.
He plunged down in his seat, looking at the negatives (which were really pictures he took at the ball) again, and tossed them into the trash.
"Forget it, Yaten…That's one memory that you don't want to remember. Sides...They're overexposed anyway...", He muttered to no one in particular. "and what're you looking, at?!" He snapped at everyone else, and hid his face in his arms. The class went silent and continued on their personal projects. Yaten looked at them with withering contempt as he glanced at the clock above him. Ten minutes to two and then it would be only 2 more hours until the concert that Seiya had been planing.
Yaten yawned, and feel asleep again when the teacher's back was turned.
Maybe playing his keyboard would help him take his mind off of his troubles.
* * *
Later, after he had awakened for the second time, and made himself presentable, he actually thought about how to spend his day. Obviously, the most useful way would be to travel around this town and gather information. For all the Elves power, they really were strangers in this new time, and every scrap of knowlege could be valuable.
He decided to travel once again in human form, reusing his disguise from the previous evening. "Takino Chishiki..." he muttered to himself as he looked into his bedroom mirror. His Elven features seemed to melt away, replaced by those of the auburn haired human.
That detail attended to, he summoned his usual cloud of silver mist, to transport himself into the human realm. ~This day could prove interesting.~ he thought to himself as the cool oblivion of the mist washed over him.
Sight and sound returned after the slivery cloud has disappeared, leaving him in the shadows of some large trees. This section of the park was almost deserted, and no one noticed or cared when a young man strode into the daylight. His eyes narrowed against the sun's glare, Mayhem looked around and wondered where he should start gathering information in a city this vast. Libraries and Museums where not on his list of choices today. He needed to learn about the culture as it was now...not as it was 200 years ago.
As he thought this over, he walked out of the park and out onto the sidewalk. He ignored the passerbys, and they paid him the same courtesy. But as he wandered in front of an electronics store, a somewhat familiar voice caught his attention. He stopped and turned to watch the televisions displayed in the window. Currently, they all showed an interview with some sports personality, a young man with short sandy-blond hair....
"Hai. I plan on racing for a long time." said Tenou Haruka from the small black box. Mayhem's eyes narrowed. He knew her. Chaos had replayed the scene of his release once for Mayhem to watch, so he knew exactly who this woman was...but the reporter seemed to think that
Sailor Uranus was a boy...? Why?
Suddenly the interview was over, and the picture cut back to the reporter, "That was the famous Tenou Haruka, star of the Japanese racing circuit! He'll be racing again today at 2:00pm for all you interested fans. Come out and give him your support!" The reporter proceeded to give the location of the racetrack and say goodbye. And then the news changed to a boring traffic report. Mayhem turned away from the T.V.'s. This was a good place to start. Probably better than most. He would go see Sailor Uranus race. Which brought an interesting question to mind. What was this car racing anyway? And if it was what Mayhem thought it was....why would anyone be interested in it?
He shook his head. Humans could be so confusing. He ducked into a dark ally and made sure no one was around. Didn't want to start scaring the locals, yet. Summoning the mist, he quickly teleported out to the Racetrack. His human watch informed him that it was almost 1:50 now. He should be in place just in time.
Mayhem arrived at the Racetrack only a few minutes before the race was to start. He didn't have a ticket, but a simple spell got him past security. He walked down to the railing and looked out over the track.
~So..these people race cars at incredibly high speeds in dangerous conditions to win money and fame? ~ He shook his head. ~I don't know if I'll ever understand those kinds of urges ~ He heard Haruka's name being mentioned beside him. He turned slightly to the couple, to hear their conversation.
"So Tenou-san isn't racing today?" The woman asked.
"Hai. He didn't even give a reason. He just said 'personal reasons'. That could mean anything!"
Mayhem's eyes narrowed. So his reason for showing up here wasn't even going to show up herself? He didn't really have to stay then. He turned and sauntered back to the exit.
~I do wonder where she went...~ He thought.
Now the only question was what he was going to do for the rest of the day, till Chaos and the others got back from school.
* * *
"Mr. Kou?", Mr. Oaks asked as he tapped Yaten's shoulder. The teacher pointed at the clock, which read 3 'o clock exactly. Yaten sighed as he got up, collected his gear and walked out. He had already given the teacher his excuse to leave early. The others were probably waiting for him there. He grapped his keyboard, his normal Three Lights uniform and walked the rest of the way to the Ampitheater where he saw Taiki and Seiya. Yaten rubbed his fingers together, feeling them slip apart from the damage that the alkaline chemicals did to his hands and face. The other two looked at eachother. Hopefully one hour'll be enough to get back what musical ability they had lost after they were playing for Princess Kakyuu
Yaten glanced at the ground, avoiding their eyes. What the hell was wrong with him anyway?!
Yaten shrugged off the feeling and continued to walk up the stage, watching the tech crew set up the lights, the amplfiers, etc.
Taiki pointed at the left over fluid that dripped from Yaten's fingers.
"Next time, blow your nose in this...", He joked as he handed Yaten a handkerchief as Yaten muttered a thanks and stormed in the dressing room. He unpacked his duffel bag, which held his henshin and hilt.
He didn't bother telling them what was wrong. He never did, and he wasn't about to start now.
* * *
"The Three Lights are back and better then even!! They've just returned from their vacation, and are on their first concert in a world wide tour! Be the first to grap a front row seat by calling in!! The first seven callers get da tickets!! Be sure to tune in for this radio station's play by play of the Three Light's come back tour!! All proceeds benefit older residents of Tokyo!"
*
Makoto excitedly dialed her phone. "I'm getting those tickets!"
*RING*
*RING*
"Congratulations! You have won tickets to The Three Lights concert!"
"OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!"
*
Aya glanced up as she heard Ker turn on the radio. Hearing this, she calmly grabbed the phone and dialed in.
ringing....
ringing....
still ringing....
"...104!"
Aya's vision fluttered. Had she really gotten through? Or was this some hoax?
"...104!?" the impatient DJ's voice made Aya cringe. Yes, she had gotten through.
"H...hi, im...c..calling...for the...uhh.....theee.......uhm.." she choked out. Apparently she hadn't prepared this far.
"Ya want the tickets or not?" the voice barked back.
"Y....y...yea!"
Aya contined with all the information needed - all the while devising a sinister plot to sneak Ker into the concert as well.
"...ok, cya then" the DJ said.
"No, wait! Can I make a request?" Aya coughed out.
"Yea, what?"
"Limp Bizket, Nobody loves me!"
"Fine. Done, bye." and with that, he hung up.
Aya then kicked herself for making that request.
*
"Na ni?
"That's right, call us! Bee one of the first to call, and get a ticket!"
Havoc wasted no time conjuring up a phone. "Alright! If it's anything like the concerts I remember, I'll bring the vegetables!!"
Ring
"C'mon...."
"Ring! Hello, this is-"
"I want my ticket!" houted Havoc into the phone.
"Uh...yes sir, may I get your name?"
"Havoc."
"The man laughed. "No son, I mean your REAL name."
Havoc was thinking about smiting this dork when it hit him that he still had to be human to go outside like that, so he gave his human name again.
"Chikanarino Shi"
"Alright, come down to the station and-"
Havoc recited the funny man's direction, then hung up. The phone disappeared.
"Hah! No lounging around after prison for me!"
*
"NA-NI!???" Rei picked up the phone and quickly dialed the number.
Ring... Ring... Ring
"Konnichiwa, you have just won tickets to the Three Lights concert!"
"KAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"*laughs* I hope you catch their eyes and have fun!"
"THANK YOU!"
"Your welcome!"
*
Mamoru thought for a moment, then dialed a number. The other end started ringing.
Getting up from her bed, the exhausted Hotaru went to answer the phone. Once again, she had been hit by a sudden illness, and Hotaru being who she was, was even worse than the normal human. Reaching the
phone, she picked it up.
"Moshi Moshi?"
"Hotaru, is that you?" Mamoru said. "Can you get Michiru-San for me? I have something to discuss with her."
Hotaru called Michiru and she took the phone from the sick girls hands.
"Moshi Moshi? Oh, Hello Mamoru-san."
"Hi. Listen. I need your help. Jedite is going to be at the Three Lights concert, and-"
Michiru interrupted him. "Whoa. Slow down. Who is Jedite?"
Mamoru quickly told her about Jedite. He then told her about his dream.
"Okay, so you're saying that a guy who was a popsicle woke up, and is suddenly going to attack Yaten at the concert, try to kidnap him, and make him a general for the Dark Kingdom?"
Hotaru looked at Michiru silently, confused.
"That's exactly what I'm saying," said Mamoru.
"Hmm, well I wish we could help, but Hotaru is sick, and the concert is sold out..."
Hotaru was waving her hand at Michiru. "Hold on Mamoru." She said.
Michiru looked at Hotaru questioningly. "There is a contest, I heard it on the radio. They're giving away free tickets!" stated Hotaru.
"Really? Well, this sounds good." Michiru picked up the phone. "Mamoru?"
"Yes?" "It seems that they are giving tickets away on the radio. I'll call in and see if I can't get any of them."
Mamoru said, "Okay, thanks a lot Michiru-san."
"Oh it's no problem. Besides, I was getting bored." Michiru grinned at Hotaru's look of indignation before Hotaru herself smiled.
"OK then, bye." Michiru hung the phone up.
Looking at Hotaru, Michiru asked, "Are you sure you're up to this? You're already sick and I don't want you to not be able to fight."
Hotaru smiled and sat down on her bed. "I'll be okay. I won't overexert myself."
Michiru nodded as she turned on the radio. "The fifth caller in the next eight minutes will win a ticket to the Three Lights concert! Call 555-B102" the DJ practically screamed.
Michiru waited for a moment, before she picked up the phone and dialed.
"Moshi Moshi? Guess what?! You're caller five! Congratulations, you've won a
ticket to the Three Lights concert!"
Michiru smiled "That's great!"
"Just stay on the line, and I'll tell you how you can pick them up!" The radio cut to a song as the DJ gave Michiru the information on how to pick up the ticket. Then she hung up the phone.
"Um, Michiru-mama?" said Hotaru. "There are two of us, and you only won one ticket."
Michiru smiled deviously. "Don't worry about it. It'll work out."
Hotaru arched an eyebrow, but nodded.
Michiru sat down next to Hotaru. "Well, it looks like we're going to a concert."
*
Rei slammed the phone down and ran to the Radio Station to receive her tickets!
"Makoto? Konnichiwa! Did you win tickets too??" Rei smiled happily
"Konnichiwa Rei-chan! Yup, I got tickets! I'm glad I'm not the only one! It figures we would be the ones to get the tickets, don't you think? I'm sure Ami already is on her way here herself!"
Rei smiled as she received her ticket in a small envelope. The young man who
gave it to her grinned and then gave Makoto hers.
"Thank you!" Rei smiled. "Wow! There's something else in here besides a ticket!"
"What's that, Rei-chan?" Makoto asked.
"Hmm... Let's see..." Rei carefully opened the package as a small card with a long chain was pulled out. "What's this? It says... 'Backstage pass to the Starlight's concert!' oh... my... GOD! THIS IS SOOO SUGOI!!! Mako-chan! Did you get one?"
Makoto peeked inside her envelope and pulled out only a ticket. "No, I didn't!"
Rei sighed and felt sorry for Makoto. "Hey! Who's that? I recognize him!" Rei exclaimed as 'Havoc' claimed his ticket and walked away. "He had no backstage pass either!"
Makoto sighed as she congratulated Rei.
Rei smiled happily and looked at Makoto. "I GET TO MEET SEIYA!"
Rei frowned at Makoto's unhappiness!
"HEY! WHY DIDN'T SHE GET A BA---" Rei screamed
"SHhhhhhh! Here!" The boy came out and placed it in Makoto's hand. "You aren't supposed to have these... but you can! Good luck!"
Rei and Makoto smiled with delight. "SUGOI! WE'RE GOING TO MEET THE THREE LIGHTS!"
*
"And I'd like to thank all the lucky callers who have won their tickets to the Three Lights Concert and be sure to look for me, Dangerous Dan, broadcasting live. This is Dangerous Dan at KFM1023, signing off."
"Dangerous Dan" took off his headset and adjusted his shades. He smiled and wandered down the hallway towards a nearby alley. His plan was working perfectly. It had been awhile since Jedite had used one of his legendary disguises and it felt good to do so.
Jedite was ready to go back to his usual activities, and that meant gathering energy for the Dark Kingdom. However, it was time to do something a little more ambitious than targetting only a few people at a time.
Outside the building, Jedite stretched and waited. A few minutes past and a Youma appeared in front of him. It was one of the three he had sent to investigate Yaten Kou.
"Yes, master?" The Youma stood and Jedite started talking.
"Gather a large group of Youma and get them ready. We are going to a rock concert." Jedite smiled in spite of himself. It's been a REALLY good week.
*
"Get ready, Michael. We're on our way to the radio station, then we have to meet Michiru." Mamoru started gathering his gear together and preparing to go out.
"Wait," Michael said, confused. "If this concert is such a hot spot, how do you suggest WE get in?"
"Since I work for the television station that's broadcasting it, I have some promotional tickets to the concert. I figured I would have given them to Usagi and her friends, but I don't think we have time for that now."
"You mean, you aren't up to facing Usagi right now?" Michael said evenly. Mamoru sighed and nodded.
"I think it would be best if we try to handle this before going to Usagi." Mamoru dug through a drawer until he found an envelope with concert tickets in it.
"Now what?" Michael asked.
"We go to pick up Michiru and head out to the stadium."
* * *
Seiya ran to his dressing room, and threw down his duffel bag. Even though he'd been doing this for a countless number of years, he was still nervous every time he performed. He ploped down into his chair, and started to get ready for the show.
Just then, the door cracked open. Seiya whirled around, knocking over his chair in the process, to meet his unseen assailant. The stage manager held up his hands in defense. "It's only me, Mr. Kou." Seiya relaxed a bit, and picked up his chair. "You're on in 15 minutes." The stage manager left the room, muttering something about stress.
Seiya sighed. Why was he so tense? He's always nervous, but this time he was even worse off. It wasn't even this bad for his first performance. "What's gotten into me?" He muttered to himself. "It's probably just because it's our first concert since we've returned." He reasoned. "No more, no less."
But still, a tiny voice kept nagging at him. He had a feeling that something was about to go wrong. Terribly, terribly wrong.
* * *
*RING* *RING* *RING*
"Hello?" Rei answered the phone.
"Rei-chan! Are you going to the Three Lights concert? Didn't you get tickets? It's starting in 15 minutes!" The muffled voice told Rei.
"Na ni? Ohhhhh!!! Gotta go! Bye!" Rei slammed the phone down and looked in her closet. "I'm going to meet Seiya Kou! Sugoi sugoi sugoi! Let's see...Something beautiful, gorgeous, and overall.... Sexy! Yes , yes" Rei searched her closet... "Here it is! The perfect dress!"
Rei pulled out a short dress with straps going different ways. It was Black with a couple sparkles along the bottom.
"This will catch his attention! Hmm... Maybe I'll catch the Camera's attention! Sugoi! Or maybe some other guys!"
Rei quickly changed into the outfit and looked in the mirror as she sang, "You are... So beautiful..." And then she stopped and thought for a moment.. "To everyone!! Oooooh!"
Rei slipped on some black heels and placed make-up on that REALLY flattered herself.
"Bye Phobos & Deimos! Catcha later! I will be back... hopefully with a boyfriend!" Rei smiled and ran out of the temple and to the concert as fast as she could.
"Wow, would you look at all the people here." Rei said to herself.
"Excuse me miss, but are you a backstage member?" A man asked her.
"Uhh... Hai! Yes I am!" Rei answered.
"Follow me please!" He led her down a hallway... "You look mighty gorgeous today, miss! Planning on catching someone's eye?"
Rei blushed madly and just kept walking as he smiled.
"There is only one other girl that is coming backstage! You will probably been in luck, miss..." He said...
"Rei! Hino Rei!" Rei smiled as she was led up to the stage area and was sat down beside Makoto.
"Mako-chan! You made it! Sugoi!" Rei said.
Moshi-moshi, Rei-chan! I was beginning to worry you wouldn't make it, but I should have known better than that! Boy we sure are lucky to have backstage passes!

Across the city there was the sound of wind, traffic, and people all arguing for attention. The din of the modern world was like a background static that was forever present. Yet if one was to pause and pull themselves away from it all they would have heard the beautiful and saddened melody of a flute.
Once again he found himself there, playing his gentle instrument at the edge of the Tokyo Tower observation deck's rooftop. He stood as he pressed his lips against the mouthpiece and his fingers danced around the notes. Music was one of the quiet moments he enjoyed the most. Games came and went, but his music lasted within him for as long as there was breath in his lungs. The school day had come and gone. In the end only he and Riot had been left; Ruckus had disappeared courtesy of a crystalline card, and then Havoc and Hysteria had jumped off to that Three Lights concert. He had opted for a few moments of privacy, to collect his thoughts. Rampage was prowling closeby somewhere; he could feel the demon-beast's presence in the back of his mind. The human guise worn in those hours of high school had melted away to reveal long silver and sloped ears that marked what he was. He returned to the melody of the flute, seeking comfort in what he played. So many thoughts were plaguing his mind today.
It was her face, her voice that he had seen with Usagi; nothing had changed since that time almost three thousand years ago. And that was what haunted him the most. A distant, pleading cry echoed from a long-forgotten memory, and he closed his eyes in the hopes of drowning it out with his music.
"I thought I would find you here," a quiet voice behind him said. "You always had a love of high places, Chaos."
The flute was lowered from his mouth. He knew the lips of the one who had spoke those words, more intimately than anyone else could have imagined. His featured rippled for a moment, and suddenly he was a human whose name was Okami.
Chaos turned, the flute disappearing from his grasp.
Shinrai was there with him on the tower.
"How ironic, don't you think?" she said, eyes lowering to the metal floor. "We are both alive and at opposite sides again..." Her white silvered hair was moving with the cold wind. How cold was it up there...how cold was it inside her? She blinked, honey eyes looking back at him with old sadness. "Why? I'm still wondering. I've always had this dream, since I was a child. A big explosion consuming my body until it becomes dust...and while I feel the burning heat stealing each drop of my life, deep emerald eyes are looking at me, and then walk away...leaving me to die alone."
Chaos avoided her gaze, arms instinctively crossing over his chest. He couldn't watch her knowing those mournful honey eyes were staring back at him. A distant cry that echoed his name rang out in a faded memory, and he saw her once more. The light was intense as if flooded around them both, the Queen's Golden Crystal violently resonating out of control as a carefully constructed palace within a crystal ball cracked apart piece by piece. She was pleading with him in that moment to turn back and help stop what had already been undone and unraveled. And then he shook his head and turned, walking away before disappearing completely. With ten fateful steps he went on to become the undisputed last of the great Elven Playkings. And she died within an explosion that reduced an entire planet to floating debris. "I didn't understand that dream...until I remembered everything about the Gold Millenium and with it...I remembered you," Shinrai finished, just as if she was telling a story that didn't belong to her.
Chaos' eyes slowly raised once more, and he could feel that same gaze burrowing into his soul. Shinrai took a step closer to him. She was the lucky one; in this new life she lived she had forever believed those images to be a dream. For countless hundreds of years he had been inside a Pandora Box, swirling memories drifting before him. And whenever he saw her with a chill in his body he knew it could never be a dream. It was once said by a mage in the Elven Court of Avalon that every soul was destined to possess a ghost, something that would haunt every living creature. A darkness to the light perhaps, or a demon to the darkness already there. Yet as he looked upon his demon, her face shone like an angel's. And that buried the knife deeper into him even more.
"You have to listen to me." Shinrai continued. "You know what? When my gaze met yours this morning I felt emotions that I had forgotten...but everything's different now because I know what you're capable of...and if we have to fight, then I'll fight." She paused for a second, trying to find force, to find calm to pronounce those words she needed to say. "No matter how much I love you."
Out of all the words she could have spoken to him, those were the words he feared the most. Let her spit on him, snarl at him, curse him and slap him across the face. That was what he deserved more than anything for hell had no fury like a woman scorned. But not this. Anything else but this.
Chaos' fists were clenched and trembling. "Don't you see?" he snapped angrily. "That is the name of the game you and I play: War! We fight, for different reasons and on different fields perhaps, but it is still our destinies to find ourselves on opposing sides. We are just pawns and our battle is eternal. I couldn't help that in the past and damned if I could help it now!"
"Yes, that is my destiny!" Shinrai answered, her voice strained by her emotions. "I will always be a Sailor Soldier no matter who I am or where I am. But I am still a woman...and I can't ignore what I'm feeling...."
"And you think I am?" Chaos said. "I had finally pushed your face into the darkest recesses of my mind. I was once again relishing being a Playking once more, and I celebrated with a masquerade ball that would have made your Queen jealous of its beauty and mystique...and then you show up to refresh my memory. I am the Elven lord of Chaos, last of the great Playkings."
"It seems as if that was the only thing you care about." Shinrai muttered to herself.
"Do you have any idea how much hell I've gone through thanks to you?! After you died I got to experience for the first time anger, regret and sorrow. I couldn't function at all despite the deafening praise I was getting from my kind as I was crowned. I didn't know how to handle what was raging within my soul and I almost killed myself just to make it stop, so don't you lecture me about pain, Shinrai. I've had a helluva long time inside a Pandora Box to intimate about it."
Unable to speak or look at her any longer he spun and chose to stare at the city. So grand in its splendor, so unlike the shimmering realms of the Moon Queen. For a time he had found his reason to be within his games...only to have the doubts appearing once more. Two thousand odd ears of deluding himself inside a mystic seal destroyed by just three words from her.
I love you....
"Dammit, Shinrai, don't do this to me," he said, emerald eyes clouding up in what might have been tears. He couldn't be sure; it had been so long since he had ever experienced the urge to cry. "Don't make me choose again." Yes, that mage in the ancient Elven Court of Avalon said the true, every soul was destined to possess a ghost. To remind us of what we are, to show us of what we have become no matter how much we are terrified by the mirror's true reflection.
And other times...to give us the chance to forge a new destiny. To change what we were and follow a new life. But could he choose once more? Could he leave all this grandeur of being a Playking in his own Elven Court of Chaos behind for her?
He turned as he felt Shinrai next to him, his human guise rippling if only for a moment to reveal his true nature beneath. Yet human he remained, and so it was a human face her hands brushed against.
"Chaos," she said. She still possessed that fragrance of open fields like ones he used to know from a distant childhood.
"What are you doing here?" he whispered, his palms gently cupping her cheeks. "Why are you doing this to me?"
Shimmering emerald stared into honey eyes.
He tilted his head down as she leaned forward on her toes. And then their lips met in a tender and quiet kiss that seemed to last forever. With a gracefulness that could have only come from a lover's bond they broke apart though still close enough to see their reflection in each other's eyes.
Chaos closed his eyes as he breathed in deeply, kissing her forehead.
"Shinrai..."
Abruptly a loud and deliberate cough interrupted them.
Chaos and Shinrai separated instantly, looking for the source of the noise. And there seated leisurely upon one of the girders of the Tokyo Tower was the Elven lord Riot.
"In short, I saw everything," he stated, arms crossed over his chest as he turned his eyes away from the skies and towards them both. "Chaos, might I have a word with you...alone?"

Nervously, Yaten paced back and forth in front of his dressing room.
For some reason, the door was locked and his henshin and sword were in there!! It appeared that Taiki and Seiya were having the same problems. Normally he and his brothers would have been either apathetic or happy to perform, but the three of them were so edgy lately that...
"Yaten Kou?"
"What do you want?!", Yaten shouted as he did a three sixty in the air and came face to face with a blonde man wearing a black satin jacket.
The back of the jacket had the KFM1023's logo embroidered on the back with a smaller version of the same logo on the right sleeve. The man, who was either surprised by Yaten's response or by something else, took a step backwards, holding his arms in a defensive position.
"Whoa! Hold on there...I was going to wish the three of you good luck." Yaten narrowed his eyes at the D.J. It wasn't everyday that he trusted people, and the man that was in front of him was no exception. Yaten looked at him with an indifferent glance.
"And you are...?" The man nodded and extended his hand.
"Dangerous Dan from radio station KFM1023...It's an honor to meet you, Mr. Kou..." Unconsciously, Yaten shook the guy's hand, even though he didn't like the way "Dangerous Dan" looked at him. It was as though this Dan was trying to probe his psyche for weaknesses.
"Yeah well...Why don't you just go do your own thing and let us do our job." Yaten snapped, trying to shake off the feeling of uneasiness and paranoia that he felt. To his surprise, Dan didn't take offense.
Instead, he nodded, wished them luck again, and left to chat with a member of the stage crew.
Yaten had the strangest feeling that he had met Dangerous Dan somewhere else. Without thinking, Yaten started to follow him when a light touch on the shoulder had him jump at least 5 feet. "Mr. Kou?"
"WHAT?!?!", Yaten spun around to see the terrified look on the stage manager's face.
"A...anooo....You have 5 minutes to get on stage..." Yaten muttered a few curses and stormed on the stage.
*
"Thank you for your time, Mr. Kou." "Dangerous Dan" shifted his glasses and adjusted his KFM1023 jacket. Things were moving right on schedule.
Jedite wandered around backstage with an evil grin on his face. He was going for the gusto this time and had over a dozen Youma disguised as stage hands and members of the audience.
Jedite's current plan was two-fold. He was going to kidnap Yaten Kou from the middle of the concert and drain the energy from the human audience. He couldn't help but chuckle when he thought of the looks on the Senshi's faces when they figured out what he was up to.
As it were, only a handful of Youma knew the end result of Jedite's planning.
"Dangerous Dan" went from backstage to the energy draining apparatus, cleverly disguised as the remote KFM1023 booth, and started signaling the various Youma to take their places.
"It's only a matter of time, now." Jedite watched the band get ready to do their opening number. "Soon, I will have Metallia's Granddaughter and all my ambitions will come true."
Jedite froze and glanced down at the booth, realizing that it was turned on.
"Uh, er, I mean . . . and that concludes our latest edition of Jyuban Sci-Fi Theater! Now, stay tuned for the live broadcast of the Three Lights Concert. For KFM1023, I'm Dangerous Dan."

"Where are we supposed to meet your friends again?" Michael asked as he followed Mamoru through the crowded amphitheater. Mamoru's tickets were really near the front of the stage and getting there was difficult.
"I don't know," Mamoru replied. "Michiru and Hotaru should be getting here soon and we'll meet up at the seats, since the one she won is right next to ours."
Mamoru and Michael squeezed past enthusiastic fans and managed to reach their seats, right next to the KFM1023 booth. As they were sitting down, Mamoru glanced over to the DJ and pointed.
"I know you!"
Jedite looked at Mamoru and jumped back a few feet. Tuxedo Kamen was staring him right in the face and he could't blow his cover. Well, he may just have to. So much planning gone to . . .
"You're Dangerous Dan from the radio! I am a big fan!" Mamoru nodded turned back to the concert.
Jedite sat in his seat and waited for his heart rate to lower. That was too close.
*
"I wanna go to that concert." Shi said out loud.
Concert?! Keiko-chan wants to go, too! Shi-chan, bring Keiko-chan! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeese!?" she asked, squeezing Shi hard. Shi could barely breathe, he nodded out a quick yes.
YAY!!! This is just so kawaii!"
Outside the air was crisp and Hysteria skipped around Havoc in what appeared to be utter bliss.
Or utter insanity, thought Havoc.
Her eyes were bright and her socks were skidding down to her ankles. Havoc walked steadily forward, glad to be rid of that prison.
"Oh, Havoc-chan-"
"Shi!!! We're among humans!"
"Oh, Shi-chan! Where are we going again? Aren't we missing kawaii 'lil classes?" chirped Hysteria as she grabbed ahold of Havoc's hand.
"To see the Three Lights in Concert, or something like that," stated Havoc, whose mood was starting to lighten up. The wind blew his hair back and he smiled.
"Oh!!! That's just so kawaii!! Idol singers!! KAWAII!!!" yelled Hysteria as she spun around, nearly falling over.
A little further they walked, and skipped, and conversed on petty subjects, like how awful school cafeteria food was.
It was late in the afternoon when they arrived to see the concert. However, there was a slight problem...
"Na ni?! Why does kawaii Keiko-chan need a ticket?" asked Hysteria.
The security guard barred the way down the aisles. "Sorry, little girl, but no ticket, no show."
Havoc almost laughed, until he saw Hysteria's battle aura start to flare a little.
"You are soooo un-kawaii!" she said lowly.
Havoc grabbed her arm, and pulled her aside. "Hysteria!" he whispered. "Do you remember the last concert we went to?"
Her aura disappeared. "Hai?" she said, blinking.
"Do you remember how we got in?"
Hysteria thought a moment, than shouted, "Hai! Kawaii idea, Havoc-chan! Hysteria can be a kawaii 'lil-"
Havoc hustled her over past the guard. He pointed. "Look! Sailor Moon!"
"WHERE?!" shouted the guard, drooling. The two walked pass him.

Rei bounced in her seat. She glanced over to Makoto who she assumed had fallen asleep.
"I wonder if anyone is out there..." Rei smiled and then turned around as she peeked out a small curtain. "Let's see... Hey! There's Mamoru! But who is that beside him? Maybe a friend. Probably a friend. No doubt a friend. Heh! It's not like Mamoru doesn't have any friends! I mean... Why am I babbling like this?" Rei smiled and then peeked around.
"Oooh! There's the man from the radio station!" Rei stood up slightly as she waved over to him. "Konnichiwaaaaa! Thank you for the ticket!"
Jedite waved back, with a stupid grin on his face. What was Sailor Mars doing waving to him? Where did she come from, anyway?
Then it hit him. She won tickets on that radio contest he had. Jedite smacked his forhead with an open palm. How could he POSSIBLY have missed the name Rei Hino when he was giving away tickets. Oh, well. With Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Mars no more than a dozen feet in either direction, this couldn't possibly get any worse.
Suddenly, Jedite snapped forward as he felt the raw power surging from specific points in the audience. There must be half a dozen beings of power in the audience. Where did they all come from?!
*
Later on, the concert seats began to fill up, as Havoc sat down and put his feet up. He had changed from the school uniform to that of a blue shirt and jeans, and black boots. He knew that weapons would be more visible here, so he kept his Blade on its chain. That's when he saw a woman sit down with a friend, and she called out, "Konnichiwa, and thanks for-"
Havoc's ears picked up the voice...He knew that one! He had saved the same girl from the ball! WHO WAS IT?!
Hysteria, on the other hand, was frustrated. After spending hours of picking out the most kawaii 'lil outfit, and the right accessories, the concert's rows had filled up, leaving no room for kawaii 'lil
Hysteria!
"Well, Hysteria-chan's gonna fix that."
"Popcorn-chan!! Get your popcorn-chan, candy-chan, and soda-chans here! Kawaii 'lil prices! Candy-chan, with special kawaii ingredients!!"
Hysteria had dressed herself up in a gold tutu, and silver bodysuit with pink hearts adorning it everywhere. Her hair had been braided into tons of kawaii 'lil braids, each tied at the end with a kawaii gold bow-chan! She had on pink boots with the runes for Hysteria glittering in gold from ankle to toe.
She stood over looking the huge crowd. If she sold enough food, she'd be able to by that kawaii 'lil kimono she'd seen in a magazine, not to mention free up some chairs for a few hours.
A guy in the last row tugged on her skirt. "Hey, babe!" He handed her two dollars. "I want some of that candy."
Hysteria giggled. "Here's your candy-chan!" she said, making the exchange.
The guy tore into the chocolate, but after woofing down a bite, he doubled over. Hysteria watched in kawaii fascination.
With a heart-shaped kawaii pink cloud, he turned into a bunny rabbit. He shook his whiskers at Hysteria, then hopped out of the amphitheater.
Hysteria smiled, and cried, "Popcorn-chans! Get the kawaii candy-chans while they last! Soda-chans!!

Artemis found the way in to the 3 lights concert, carrying a backstage ticket with him (Whom Seiya gave to him earlier in the week). He didn't know his way around so he sort of went back and forth. He tried his best to hide from crazy hyper looking people, but he was so caught up in his thought he bumped into a stage manager.
"What the heck is a cat doing back here?" The manager yelled
" Hehehe, now I'm gonna get it" Artemis thought, and started to run.
" Get that cat outa here!" The manager yelled so load, the front row seat people could hear him. Artemis ran past a pole, having the stage manager run into it, so Artemis got away.
But doe to Artemis's clumsiness, he just ran into another person
"Oh no, now I'm gonna get in trouble" he looked up, but the lights shadowed the persons face...

Michiru and Hotaru walked up to the ticket booth of the amphitheater. Michiru gave the attendant her ticket. He looked at it, then at Michiru. "Um, Miss, there's one ticket and two of you..."
Michiru smiled "Yes, well you see, she's a really big fan of the Three Lights, and I certainly didn't want her to come alone. Could we both just go in?" Michiru batted her eyes.
The attendant smiled and nodded. "Thank You."
Hotaru and Michiru went into the crowded amphitheater. "Where are we supposed to sit?" Hotaru had to raise her voice.
Michiru scanned the crowd, and spotted the back of Mamoru and Michael's head.
"Right up there." They made their way to their seats.
"Hello Michiru-san, Hotaru-san" Mamoru said as they sat down
"Hello" said Michiru. Hotaru smiled. Looking around at all the hustle and bustle around them, Michiru asked "When is the concert going to begin?"
"I don't know, but the concert is supposed to begin any second now. Alright, here's the situation. Jedite, an old enemy of the Sailor Senshi, is supposed to be plotting to kidnap one of the Star Lights for some bizarre reason."
"Bizarre?!" Jedite growled as he listened to the conversation. "Why that lousy . . .!"
"Oh, I also want to introduce you to a friend of mine. Michael, say hello to Michiru." Mamoru said. Michael looked over at Michiru and smiled. Then, he glanced past her and saw Hotaru. His eyes bulged.
"W-w-w-what the hell is she doing here?! Shouldn't she be locked up or something?" Michael said, trying to hide behind Mamoru.
Hotaru gave the person who Mamoru said was called "Michael" a weird look. She then looked down at the bag of lollies she was carrying with her the entire time, and held the bag up to Michael.
"Wanna lolly?" Hotaru asked, blinking innocently.
*
Mako-chan awoke from her stupor and finally realized she was actually at the Three lights concert. "Hey, when did everyone else get here Rei-chan?" She noticed Hotaru and her bag of lollies. "Aah, how cute!"
Rei smiled happily. "Mako-chan! Mako-chan! Your awake! Sugoi! The Starlights have been taking there sweet time to come onto the stage. During that time, the whole theatre filled up with people!" Rei peeked out the curtain. "Psst! Mako-chan! Who's that guy beside Mamoru?"
Makoto looked over at the guy standing next to Mamoru. "Hm, I'm not quite sure who he is, but I think I saw him at the masquerade. He must be Mamoru's friend or something."
Michael sighed. He turned and watched Mamoru discussing things with the one called "Michiru" and noticed Hotaru staring at him, offering him a lollypop. He took it with a nervous grin and sat back in his seat. She didn't appear to remember him and that was probably for the best. He most certainly recognized her...
He sunk in his seat and waited for the concert to start. If Mamoru needed him for something, he'd ask. Then, he heard some hushed whispers off to his left.
Shifting his head, he saw two girls staring at him. One had long raven hair and the other was tall and had a ponytail. Michael sank further in his seat.
Who were these people and why were they staring at him? Michael sucked on his lollypop and sighed.
Hotaru waved back to Rei, and turned back to look at Michael sucking on the lollypop.
