EAT-MAN: BYE-BYE POKEMON DAYS
Ash, Misty and Brock made their way through the doors into
the Gym, with Pikachu bounding along happily behind them.
Looking around, they saw that the place was full of dedicated
Trainers battling to strengthen their Pokemon.
"This looks like a great Gym," said Ash, heading for the
nearest unoccupied Trainer, hoping for a friendly battle or
two. "Hi!" he said to the tall, long-haired man in a
trenchcoat who sat slumped in the corner by the doors. "My
name's Ash Ketchum! Would you like to battle?"
The man looked up at Ash over crimson-lensed glasses and
didn't say a word.
"Great!" continued Ash enthusiastically. He reached into
his pack and pulled out a Pokeball. "I choose you!" he
bellowed as he threw the ball.
Before its occupant could be discharged, the ball landed in
the seated man's hand. He looked at it curiously, shrugged,
and ate it.
