The similarities are amazing. Admit it -- you all noticed this too.
Recently the first issue of Top Cow's ongoing monthly Tomb Raider comic was published. The merest of cursory glances reveals an obvious connection between Eat-Man and Tomb Raider. The young woman who stars in this TR book is plainly related to Bolt. You might have seen her somewhere... her first name's Lara, or something. Ah, but her surname... there lies our interest. Supposedly her name is "Croft". But, as you too have no doubt realised:

Beyond the startling visual correlations, there are further similarities. Lara is an Explorer of sorts, who travels the world engaging in perilous and knuckle-whitening adventures. And so another mystery is solved: it is remarkably clear that Compton and Hard are the EXACT SAME PERSON. Did they honestly expect to fool us? |
Now, in addition to her handful of comic book appearances to date, this Miss Lara "Croft" also, I have been led to believe, stars in a series of "computer games". I haven't personally played any of these games, but a reliable source assures me that Lara regularly chows down on shrapnel and leaves a trail of heart-broken young babes behind her. Also she is sometimes followed by a dog in a bad mood.
Well, a fairly reliable source.
