The first issue nicely introduces Bolt and Roan and establishes a little about the Eat-Man world. The true nature of Bolt's powers is left unexplained, adding to the hero's already considerable mystique.

Check out the trick with the alcohol! A totally cool and very creative use of Bolt's powers. But hey - where did Roan go? I liked her!

Nice use of the radio. And Selena seems to be alot more mature than the other "Bolt Girls" to date - she looks a lot less "little-girly".
