Here's where I get to ramble on about PQ Angels related things!
My favourite PQ character: If you haven't figured it out by now, my favourite character in PQ Angels is Q-ko! Why? She's just so...so...kewl! I think everything about her is kewl! She has the kewlest green hair and is so pretty, so smart and I love the spells she uses in her attacks, like Sailor Mars! Q-ko has been compared to Mars in a lot of circumstances, but imo they aren't really similar -- however, I don't know what Rei is like in the manga, so I can't say how Naoko-sama depicted her.
The PQ Angels' Relationship: P-ko and Q-ko have often been compared to Rei and Usagi, but their relationship seems a lot more easygoing than Rei and Usagi's in Sailor Moon -- in the anime, anyways, with all their arguments and disagreements. However, Rei and Usagi are good friends, just like the PQ Angels. There has been some speculation on whether the PQ Angels are lesbian, because they have to kiss O_o whenever they want to transform. I don't think they are -- they never show anything but friendship to each other, and it's just part of their job -- they need to kiss to transform!
I think PQ Angels is a lot "lighter" than Sailor Moon was, and a lot more fun. The plot isn't as rich and complicated as Sailor Moon, but I think Naoko needed a break! ^_^ Also, there's only been 4 chapters of PQ Angels published, so the plot hasn't really had a chance to become complicated yet. I like PQ Angels for different reasons than I like Sailor Moon (although I'm a huge fan of that, too -- check out my Sailor Moon page if you like Sailor Moon. PQ Angels is super-kawaii, and fun, and good entertainment, and I luv it! :-) The drawing is beautiful, just like it was in Sailor Moon, and the story is kewl. I'm looking forward to watching it progress! The setback, however, is the decision Nakayosi, the manga magazine that runs PQ Angels, made to feature only a few manga titles in each magazine, so PQ Angels will not be coming out again for a while. Sigh....
