A masked clown is Trowa's symbol. He is also a very good undercover. *He does it too often too. ^^* The hair that blocks half of his face makes him an even more mysterious figure. Trowa's been alone in the world for as long as he can remember. And naturally, he has formed a protective barrier around himself. His face is expressionless except at rare moments such as when he laughs at Heero's comment, "Dying hurts like hell." "Trowa Barton" is not even his real name. It is just a name he takes up for Operation Meteor. Before that, he is "No Name".
Trowa is observant because he doesn't talk much. He understands people. That's why Heero allows Trowa to help him. Trowa aids Heero as if it were his duty not a favour, and Heero respects that.
Even though Trowa seems cool and indifferent towards everything, including other humans, he is really a nice, considerate guy. He nurses Heero back to health and even lends Heero Heavyarms so Heero can duel with Zechs. *Heero does have a record of self-desturctions...but Trowa still trusts him.* He refrains from self-destructing because he doesn't want to hurt Catherine. Trowa doesn't say much but he knows a lot.
