Headline: Toy Story II box-office 1.4milliom, Buzz Ligntyear beats Yeh Gu-chen

Andy, Ekin & Aaron cannot beat Buzz Lightyear! New Year movie first battle, Andy's Yeh Gu-chen in The Duel is leading Aaron's AD2000 by a big margin, but still cannot beat cartoon movie Toy Story.
Toy Story has grossed 1.4 million since it was screen on 3rd Feb, The Duel collected over 1.2 million at the 9:30pm show on the first day of release, more than Tokyo Raiders which collected 1.19 million on first day of release the same day. (The later had 2 shows on 1st day wheareas The Dual has 5 shows a day).
AD2000 collected $600,000 at 9:30pm on same first day of release....Winner Takes All is still lacking behind, The Beach collected $340,000 on the first day of release...Within a short period of few days, total box-office exceeds 20 million, this reflects there are more movie goers this year, & a chance for recovery in movie industry.

Headline: Andy praised Sammi is 'sharp'

Yesterday Andy was interviewed by RTHK. He said after the New Year, he will continue with filming of Lone Man Single Lady. He was asked his feeling on Sammi. Replied, "Impression is she is v sharp! A strong opponent, v good acting skill!"
Some manager during signing of contract, stipulated that the artiste cannot get married, in love or give birth, Andy answered, "For me, I wont forced people not to get married, I allowe them to love & get married!"

In The Duel, other than handsome Andy & Ekin, Nick Cheung is comical, female leads Yang Gongru is charming, Chao Wei adorable & Tian Xin sexy. It is no wonder that at 2:30pm yesterday, box-office hit HK$200,000, breaking Xu Kuan Jie's Winner first day takings, & just trailing behind AD2000 ....
According to the director, this movie special computer effect is more superior than A Man Called Hero, it is the product of 50 workers after a 2-month closed door hardwork....

...Lately HK boxoffice collection is much better than the same period in the previous years, Golden Harvest boss Zou Wen Huai other than praising the customs for their effort in stamping out piracy , he openly praised Andy for investing hugh sum to reopen Teamwork. Andy went to ?Central Provident Fund Board ( Correct?? A forced saving scheme for the workers, what we called CPF in S'pore) press con yesterday. Earlier on Andy has wielded the brush for the Board New Year Greetings, this has been made into souveniers & were distributed last night at Wei Yuan New Year night market CPF stall.

Andy said BMG always has CPF scheme, but personally he has 3 status, he is a boss, a worker, & a self-employed person. Before the scheme was enforced, he did not have to worry this problem, now he has to study carefully, how he can pay CPF correctly.
Since entering the circle, Andy has invested in a lot of business. Now that Teamwork restarts, for the first time he realises how much assets he has & actually he is providing for 250 persons! Though Andy earns lots of money, a lot are immovable property, such as the equipments, he does not have a lot of free cash. The reporters looking disbelieved, Andy had to exposed that during the dinner, he wanted cash as lucky draw, when he opened his wallet, he had only abt $2000, he had no choice but to borrow from the account colleage few thousands $.
This CNY Andy said he will not go anywhere, he has reunion dinner with his family last night.....

... Andy attended 3 promo activities for the movie The Duel yesterday.
Andy contributes both money & energy in movies, is he trying to be a movie magnate? Replied, "Please do not say so! I still have a long way to go!"....

Yesterday at 11am, Andy together with Ekin, Tian Xin & director went to Metro Radio for an interview hosted by Nancy Seet. Andy brought a prosperous tree for Nancy. Nancy gave Andy a red packet bearing the words 'Full applause', wishing him getting more awards.
Though Nancy never work with Andy before, she praised Andy for being continuously creative, as the saying goes if one doesn't move forwrd he is like moving backwards, she respects him.
At 3pm they had an autograph session at Jing Chong, in the evening they boarded an opene-top bus & paraded from Nathan Rd to Jordan Rd, to Tong Lor Wan before reaching the cinema for the premiere at Jing Chong, the journey lasted for abt an hour.
It attracted a lot of reporters & fans who dared to chase the bus, the situation was chaotic. Traffic police was called in so they could proceed.
The co arranged them to give out chocolate gold coins in red packets on the way, but the float stopped in the middle lane of the road most of the time, so they couldn't give out much.
Andy joked that they were 'eating air', the journey made their hair v untidy, it is not polite for the premiere.

He added he doesnot like this type of throwing red packets, as the fans on chasing the vehicle may have accidents, he is v worried. If he met with fans chasing after him on the road in Mainland China, he will stop & scold them. Andy really loves his fans a lot.

"Satisfied!" When Andy came over to take photo, a lot of reporters swarmed around, Andy smiled & told them he will get angry if they forced away his parents.
Andy has a regret for not able to get a movie award, Anita commented that he has yet to come across the right director. her only regret is she has no bf. The reporters said they are a couple, Anita told them not to force it on her.....

....Tony Leung was late for the dinner as he had just been back from Shanghai. All the members of the 5 Tigers were there: Tony, Andy, Wang Ri Hua, Tang Zheng Yeh & Miao Chiao Wei. Tony said if there is a chance he will like to copoerate with them again. He wont follow Andy to produce movies, he said there is too mich pressure, he prefers to be free & easy. Andy's movie co Teamwork had a grand function last night, called 'Reopening of Teamwork' reunion dinner, many guests attended, including Jacky Chan, Josephine Siu, Patrick Tse & son Nicholas, Leslie, Alan Tam, Anita Mui, Tony Leung, Miao Chiao Wei, Wong Ri Hua, Tang Zheng Yeh, Wong Chan, Eric Tsang, Deanie Yip, Wang Mian De, Lin Xin Rei, Fang Ye Hua....et al, & of course his most beloved parents. (....you can tell that Katherine has problems with their names, I hope you get them....)

Andy, in a splendid black suit, said he is happy & yet tense. Teamwork will invest a sum of 5 billion in these 3 years. Other than producing movies, it will adopts a multimedia approach, to include filming of TV serials, video CD, concerts, CDs & manager depts. Andy alone is not able to take care of all these, many helpers will be around in the co. Teamwork has a new shareholder, Andy holds 60% of the stake, CCT multimedia the other 40%, & takes care of the finance of the co.
Planning has been on for the last 6 months, now he organise all the co under him together, Andy believes is a good begining for success.
Asked if he intends to be a movie magnate, king of entertainment? Andy denied, he just wants to set up a more complete co, with a multimedia aproach.

Teamwork lost lots of money in the past years, why he does still want to do it?
Andy said he learns from experience, he has seen others doing entertainment co, now is a new beginning. With the downturn of movie industry, everyone should cooperate to revitalise the induatry, otherwise everyone will be jobless. From 10 years experience, he feels that it is important to balance expenditure, appropriate release & promo, well coordination on the whole, not one should be missing.
Will he involves in setting up cinema chain?
Andy said he wont dismiss the possibility, but not at the moment.
Teamwork movie filming will based on the script in future, good script & director will definitely attract viewers.

In Dec '91 when Teamwork first started, the movie '91 Saviour Of The Soul was released, this year at X'mas, a movie called 'Heaven Chance' (Tian Ji) will be released too, the director is Derek Ye, is a sci-fic movie. Andy will act in this movie, the female lead will be decided by the director. Andy has filmed 97 movies, he will make this movie as his 100th.
Despite his hoarse voice from flu, Andy sang a song Days Together.

To support his colleague Jacky Wu's prg, Andy attended 'Jacky Show' TV prg recording. A chinese physician & a fortune teller were also invited, to analyse Andy's sexual ability, romance & money fortune.
On seeing Andy, the Chinese physician gave a definitive diagnosis that Andy has excellent sexual capability, he pointed out that though Andy has a small pelvis, but it looks firm, so his sustaining power is great.(.....huh?! How come Western medicine Katherine trained in never says...... shall read more to substantiate this.... )

From his nose contractility, Andy appears to be v conservative & reserved, but when he is led into it, he is terrific. Andy was all red to the ears on hearing this. (.....poor Andy!)
The physician felt Andy's bones, pointed out that his bone flexibility is not bad, suited to tall lady.
The fortune teller analyse that though Andy earns a lot of money, he loses a lot too, the rumoured gfs of his are like smoke, his real romance will appear this year, but his character is conservative, he prefers lady to be in the active role.
On Jacky Wu, the physician said his sexual ability is just 'an empty show of strength, cannot be compared with Andy. (.....huh?! Hard on Jacky...)
Both Jacky & Andy practice nose contractility on the spot. Andy even listen to the physician's instruction, he squat down & practicsd qi, forgot abt his image & concentrate on art of sexual enhancement...

.....Andy will hold a banquet tonight, a grand accasion to announce his Teamwork plans on movies production cum millennium party.
Andy will fly back from TW, he is serious with this function, he has personally written the invitation card, spent millions on dinner & decoration for the banquet. The decoration theme will be as the name of his co, 'Heavenly Curtain' or Teamwork....
Asked if those invited will represent the ones he will work with in future? Andy said the meeting is mainly a gathering of his good friends, Teamwork has contacted some directors. On the actors, whoever is suitable will be selected.

....The most notable movie for the New Year is period movie The Duel, due for premier on the 1st of Feb. Other than Chao Wei & Yang Gongru not in HK, all the others will be all out for the occcasion. They will use a large vehicle as a float parade, starting from Penisular Hotel, to Tong Lo Wan, & Jing Chong for the premier. As the float proceeds , they will give out red packet envelops on the way, hopefully this will increase the boxoffice collection.

This is the 3rd year Andy comes to TW to record Chinese New Year prg , the prg will be telecast on New Year eve.
Yesterday Andy was in TW tv stn recording a prg called 'Champion Family TV Show' . Ever since this prg starts, Andy never miss a single annual special prg, the producer nick-named him 'Hardworking Bao Bao' (baby). The prg was hosted by Lan Xin Mei & Huang Zi Qiao. When Lan saw Andy, she referred Andy as her saviour, as her TV viewers are v fortunate to have Andy.
Andy was v cheerful in prg recording.

In a game Andy was paired up with Julia Peng, Lan as blue team, Jordan, Lawrence & Landy were the yellow team. Andy & Jordan played dragon & lion dance first, but when Lan saw 'idol Lau' she grabbed his waist without letting go, then she tunnelled in, the trio were in a mess, & fell flat on te floor. Lan was not at all bother, she claimed, "I am making baby with Andy!"
Later Andy & Jordan had skipping, drum beating, Jordan has fast reflex, Andy was not so fast, he lost in both. But Andy displayed a poker magic game, it made people disillusioned, as his hands are v fast & audience could not tell the loopholes.
Other than game, Andy recorded a special prg to celebrate the New Year, he willingly had his face painted, took bitter tea as punishment....
Andy is happy he has a chance to celebrate New Year with TW fans on TV.

....The last report card for HK music has been given out, everyone seems not to bother so much as to who gets what award but the deatils on & off stage were interesting to reminisce. Andy as the big winner, other than his true talent, actually he believes white suits make his career prosperous, so in many occasions he appears as 'white horse prince'.
"I read a book, saying this year my lucky color is white, so I follow! I will try to be in white most of the time, it's also v nice! I had made 3 suits lately!...."

Headline: Andy & Wu Zheng Yee fight for space during filming on the road, not bothering one another

On the 19th last Wed, the quite lane in Tsim Shan Tsui, 'Alice' Str (?? Katherine not familiar with HK streets) was bustling with activity, as at the same time two movies were being filmed. Initially there were some disputes for vantage spots, the leads of both did not greet one another.
.....Andy was filming fast speed car scene in the middle of the road. After a tiff with Sammi, he sped the car off to frightened Sammi, the onlookers were shocked Andy has such good driving skill. They were screaming names of Andy & Sammi....
Andy was so busy that he ate his meals, had the make-up, read the text at the same time, even phoning too. The phone Andy used is still the same one he used on Ericsson phone commercial T28 series, looks like the co has made the right choice in choosing Andy to do the commercial.....

Channel V award ceremony chaotic ( Sing Tao)

Channel V awards ceremony ended in a chaos. The organiser initiallly arranged for a celebration dinner, but at the end it was cancelled, the media had to interview the singers at the backstage. The reason given being many singers could not attend.

Accoddingly Channel V made use of this opportunity to get singers like Andy & Faye to record a prg organised by Channel V & Central TV Stn for the Lunar New Year. Within a night there were 2 activities to attend, recording was done till the wee hours, who can still attend the dinner?
Andy has come down with a flu. He had not slept for 2 nights previously due to filming before coming to Beijing & the whether there was v cold outside & warm in the room, so he fell ill. But Andy has good professional attitude, he still went for the recording .
At the award ceremony, Andy was the most outstanding, whenever he appeared on stage he received the most applause. A female fan was seen rushing up the stage when the security guards were not watching, she caught Andy by surprise, grabbing him without letting go, kissed Andy 3 times on the cheek continuously!!!

Andy almost fell. Luckily Andy was v composed, to avoid she being harassed by the security, Andy held her down the stage slowly. This fan didnt seem to have enough, she held Andy's hand & kissed again!!!! The other fans down the stage were all heated up!
Andy has a charm that is extraordinary & irrestiable!
Asked how Andy feel with this type of fan? He smiled, "Be careful, I have flu!"
On getting the title Over the century singer award, Andy joked, "I'm over the century boy!"
Even the lady reporter from Mainland China who had a chance to interview Andy was flushed & moved to tears....
Andy will go back to HK & then to TW for another recording of the new year prg.
