![]() Wow! Someone actually wanted to read my ramblings!!! o.O A bit suprising there... SPOILERS BEWARE!! Anyways, as I've said before, the twins are my favorites. Why? JUST CUZ! They're both so kawaii... Amiboshi's just plain nice. Can't argue with that. But he shoulda never let go of the flute in the first place so that he wouldn't have seemingly died, and then that wouldn't have caused Suboshi to kill Tamahome's cute little family, which would have never resulted in his death, which woulda made me much MUCH happier. But I'm glad at least Amiboshi survived. ;) As for Suboshi... I don't think he's evil. I just feel really sorry for him. I mean, sure, it was bad when Tamahome's cute little family was murdered, but he only did it for revenge. (I'm not saying revenge is a good thing, but hey, even Tamahome would take revenge.) He had just lost his only other family member, and a twin brother at that. A twin who had cared for him ever since their parents died. And, combine that with Nakago messing with his mind during that time of mourning and anybody would get this thought of revenge implanted in their mind. A family for a family. And even then, Tamahome had much more support than Suboshi. There was Miaka, Tokaki and Subaru, along with the rest of the Suzaku seishi. Meanwhile, poor Suboshi got support and comfort from no one except Yui. Thus, of course, he would fall for her. But no, Yui is the confused villian girl and has no idea until too late. I mean, get a clue! Suboshi follows her around like a loyal puppy dog and she's still not very nice to him. She throws snowballs in his face and stuff. Suboshi sure picked the wrong girl! But he's still loyal until the end, hating the Suzaku seishi and Miaka for what happened to Yui. I don't think he should be too hated because he killed Tamahome's family. I mean, if Tamahome had thought Suboshi killed family first, then he would've probably wanted revenge too. In Suboshi's case, it just happened to be that Amiboshi wasn't dead. Now, if he had found that out and not have like Yui, then he probably would have felt remorse. But, because he like Yui so much and stuff, he still hated the Suzaku seishi with all his guts. He gave up a nice, safe, and peaceful life with his brother (which he could have had if he drank the medicine that his brother offered.) to protect Yui and get even for her. Even when he died, he apologized to Yui for failing her. Yui must have finally realized how loyal he was to her because she cried all night. And in OVA 1, even AFTER his death, Suboshi took the body of his brother to go and protect Yui, who was now Genbu no Miko. (And died again, I might add. Actually, then, it was Amiboshi who died.) But that was in OVA 1, which was extremely confusing and not that big of a deal. But you get my point... And another thing. Why is Suboshi called yo-yo boy? His Ryuuseisui thing is NOTHING like a yo-yo. It's got two heavy balls attached to a rope cord thing with feathers. What kind of yo-yo looks like that? What kind of yo-yo can do that much damage? I mean, that thing is DANGEROUS! It is NOT a toy. And why is he always called "boy?" You don't hear Amiboshi being called that. And Chiriko. He's two years younger than Suboshi and he looks like he's eight, but nobody calls him "boy." Heck, he's the same age as Yui and she treats him like he's much younger. Okay. Enough rambling. I think I'll stop now... ![]() |
