Amuro Namie is back with a vengeance with this CD. Filled with R&B, dance,
Latin and ballad-type songs, this is sure to please even the people who
were never her fans. This is due to the fact that Komuro Tetsuya isn't the
only producer, writer, etc on this CD. Dallas Austin, a famous producer in
America (TLC, Boyz II Men, Monica) lends a hand to make this one of the
better J-R&B albums of recent times. Another reason could be that Amuro's
voice is strong & nice in all of the songs, in contrast to her whining in
some of her previous songs.

A small complaint I have is that many of the songs sound like revisions
of many American songs. (I think this would've been a "10" if it wasn't
for that fact.) However, in my opinion, Amuro's versions are much better.

* Surprisingly, "Toi et Moi" (theme from a Pokemon movie) isn't on this
CD. I know it's not one of the greatest songs (the rap in the beginning
  sucked) but still...

   1. make the connection complete--Just an intro.

   2. Love 2000--(a single) This should've been called "System
2000" cause that's all they seem to sing about. It's a great opening
song because it wakes you up. Has a Latin-flavor to it.

   3. Respect the Power of Love--(a single) Not as good
as the single version because during the verses, there isn't much
music. Sort of a tropical-sounding song with a beat.

   4. Leavin' For Las Vegas--Hey, is this T-Boz of TLC singing
in Japanese? Chotto matte!!! This is actually Amuro singing very low
      in a TLC-style song. It's medium-paced, very mellow, & pretty good.
She has the style of all 3 of the TLC ladies in one package. Not
surprisingly, DA is behind this song.

   5. Something 'Bout the Kiss--(a single) Another DA
production. This R&B song is one of my favorite Amuro songs. She
raps in English at one point & it sounds pretty good. Even the close-
minded people in my area seem to like this song.

   6. I Have Never Seen--(a single) Very similar to the single
version except for some parts during the 2nd chorus, her voice
gets muted (during my fave part "...sei'ippai" too!) :(

   7. Still in Love--Sounds too similar to an American song
that I can't stand. If it wasn't for this, I'd like the song. The
song starts off slow then during the chorus parts, it gets upbeat.
Towards the ending, the chorus just sounds so repetitive that I just
want to change the song already. (Honto ni gomen ne, Ryu!)

   8. Mi Corazon (Te Amour)--TK cashes in on the Latin craze
with this upbeat dance song. I have to say that this is one of my
faves even though I'm not into all that Ricky martin stuff.

   9. You Are The One--This song would've been great without
those Boyz II Men wannabes that take over the song. Coincidentally,
one of the Imajin guys sounds exactly like Stanley "Jamal" Hampton
      of Cubic U's "Precious" fame.

  10. Kiss -And- Ride--A mellow song. Great for driving at
night or if you're feeling mellow.

  11. Things I Collected--A DA song. Another mellow one.

  12. Next To You--Sounds similar to singer/actress/dancer/
model/Sean "Puffy" Combs-dating Jennifer Lopez's "If I had your love"
song. Maybe DA did that song too? I like this one better though.
Amuro's voice is way better & stronger than Lopez's any day!!!

  13. Asking Why--Another mellow song. It's funny when she goes,
"Stop asking why" then immediately sings, "Oh why oh why..."

  14. Give It A Try--Sounds like an older American song (or a
TV theme--can't remember) from the '80s. Nice & mellow in the beginning
then gets more uplifting towards the chorus.

  15. log off--

Rating 9 out of 10!!!
