I was disappointed to see that this cd didn't include the single version
of "Tsutsumikomu You Ni"*. But the rest of the songs quickly make up for it.
Misia has an impressive vocal range (very different from the typical
Japanese female singer--too high, off-key, whiny). She sings soulfully and
even has those high squeaks like Mariah Carey (yuk). This album is mostly
R&B (with a little bit of jazz) influenced and I think that even non-J-POP
fans would like this album as well.

   1. Never Gonna Cry (instrumental)--orchestral version
        of the song

   2. K.I.T.--(Probably means "Keep In Touch", but I'm not sure).
It's a pretty good funky song that shows off Misia's vocal skills,
although she goes a little wild with the screaching.

   3. Koi Suru Kisetsu--nice R&B song. Mellow.

   4. I'm Over Here` Kizuite yo--Another R&B song. A bit
more upbeat than the song before.

   5. Interlude #1--Gee, even the instrumentals sound good!

   6. Tell Me--reminds me of track 4. She sounds sort of different
in this song. Like she's not singing clearly, but it's still good.

   7. KISU Shite Dakishimete--Slow song that starts off with
an acoustic guitar. Has a nice beat.

   8. Cry--I like this a lot. Sounds like a song from the 70's (not a
         disco song, ok.)

   9. Interlude #2--they should've made a whole song with this!!!
It's has a cool beat and has the sound of an ocean rushing in.
It continues into "Chiisana Koi" (track 10).

  10. Chiisana Koi--Sounds like TLC's "Diggin' On You", only
better. It's a cute song about friendship.

  11. Hi no Ataru Basho--released as a single. It's has a cool
         jazz-like feel.

  12. Hoshi no Furu Oka--nice slow one. Sounds like a Disney
type of song. It starts off nice and slow with Misia's soothing
voice, but towards the middle, she starts playing up her emotions
by singing so damn loud! It shows that she has a dynamic vocal
         range, but it frightened me.

  13. Tsutsumikomu You ni--I want the original! The song starts
off with just her voice and the beat, but when the chorus comes,
it slowly, but surely sounds like the original. The last chorus is
         eliminated, though.

  14. Never Gonna Cry!--sounds like an upbeat disco song, but I
like it a lot. It sounds like it would be perfect for a Japanese
drama or commercial. It's a cute song but Misia's voice gets a
little irritating during the chorus part cause she goes higher
than she's used to, but I like it anyway. Oh btw, this song is in
English, so it's funny to hear how she blends words together, or
just totally forgets to sing them. =)

      * According to Asabi (Oilgrrrl@aol.com), on some selected CDs,
in those 8+ minutes between "Never Gonna Cry" and the hidden song is
another vesion of "Tsutsumikomu You ni."
Might that be the original version? Well, I don't know because
I was not lucky enough to get that copy!!! :( If anyone has that
particular copy, please let me know if it is the original version.
      Thanks. --C

      Hidden track:
Never Gonna Cry (another version)--about 8+
minutes into the 14th track, there's another version of this
song. It's a more danceable track. More like club music. I
            like this version too.
