~Valentine's Day Year 2000~

In a house in Japan in the middle of the Kanagawa district, a group of people were lounging around in the living room discussing about the party that would be held that night on February the 14th.

Being the center of the discussion was the shortest of the group with short hair, black with chestnut-coloured highlights and wearing a pair of glasses, which keeps on slipping down her down nose.

"Ok, those in charge of decorations will be Linez, Tsuki, Miss Fufuru and Minako?" asked Noor.

Minako excitedly elbowed the French girl who was reading a book beside her, "Hey, that's us!"

"Hmm?" Miss Fufuru blinked behind her glasses, breaking her concentration from the book in her hand.

"Yeah, we're here," answered Linez cheerfully.

A blonde girl with blue eyes started getting restless, "What kind of decorations will we do? We need to have some coloured crepe paper. How about balloons? And those sparkly party decorations? Do we have enough money?"

Linez told the girl, "Relax, Tsuki. We'll figure it out when we get to the store."

"Alright,"said Noor ticking the notebook in her hand, "How about food committee?"

"Oh!" said Myn waving her hand, "Put me in!"

"I'm definitely in," Ritz announced.

Unable to control her excitement, Hikaru said a bit too loudly, "Me too!"

Enilyn who was sitting near Hikaru at the time winced. Rubbing her ears to get rid of the sudden ringing brought about by the loud voice, she said non-commitally, "I guess you can count me in."

"And me!" Luv Angel said also excited, further damaging Enilyn's hearing who was unfortunately also sitting beside her.

"Me too!" Kitty Fox said, her fox tail swaying to and fro, "I'll do the cooking as long as I don't have to clean up after."

"Aa," said Noor nodding, "So who will be in the clean up committee?"

Rainer, the only male in the crowd put up his hand, "I'll be in it."

"Ok," Noor said, "anyone else?"

The group stayed silent. It seems that no one else wants to do the dirty work if they can help it.

Virgo, a girl with short-reddish brown hair shrugged, "Since there's already enough people in the food committee I'll join the clean-up with Rainer."

Noor sighed discreetly, relieved that she didn't have to volunteer to help out the cleaning.
"So that's Virgo and Rainer in the cleaning..."

"Hey, Virgo! Could you come up to my house later on and do the dishes for me?" teased Pastles.

Virgo put up a mock fist, "Sure, I'll come with my trusty hammer and do your dishes to splinters."

The group erupted in laughter, "Ahahahah!"

Then Noor went on, "Alright, so who'll do the invitation stuff?"

"I will!" Pastles said eagerly.

"And I," said Ruby, flipping her long dark hair from her shoulders, one of her bunny ears flopping down.

"Music," said Nywexia, "That's important for a party."

"Oh?" said Enilyn, "And food's not?"

"How about clean-up?" said Virgo and her partner nodded his head in agreement.

"Hey! You guys forgot about decorations!"

"But without invitations there'll be no guests!"

After a moment of bickering Noor cried out, "Guys! Guys! We're starting to act like the Shohoku boys!"

They blinked, stunned at the revelation.

"Wow..."

"It must be of reading too much fics..." Tsuki mumbled.

"But for us Slam Dunk yaoi fics is never enough," commented Luv Angel.

Everyone agreed heartily on that.

Noor continued with the organizing, "So, Nywexia's in charge of music. Who'll help her?"

"I will," said Tita Taishi.

"Ok, so it's you and Nywexia then," said Noor, nodding towards the Spanish girl, before asking everyone else, "Anyone wants to do anything else?"

"How about games or some sort of entertainment?" asked Wan.

Everyone looked at the girl in astonishment.

"Y'know, I totally forgot about that," admitted Noor, "So you're in charge of games."

"I can do bartending for the adults," Divon pipped up, tucking her chin-length hair behind her ear.

"Ooo..." Nywexia cooed, "What drinks can you do?"

"Enough but they're not for you," Divon told the 13 year old girl.

"Aww..." Nywexia pouted.

Noor patted Nywexia consolingly before going on. "How about you, Olivia?" she asked Vietnamese girl sitting on the floor near her.

"I wanna make the guests happy," Olivia replied with a big smile.

"Don't we all," said Myn propping her chin on her hand.

"Hey!" said Luv Angel, "That's my job! I can make them happy with my arrows..."

Noor sweatdropped.
"Uh, I think you'd better leave those arrows of yours at home Luv Angel. We don't want a party full of jealous bishounens when you hit the wrong people."

"But then we'll be able to see all sorts of interesting pairings..." mused Ruby.

They all hmmed in agreement.

"However I'm NOT going to be in the same room as Rukawa when someone else makes a move on Hanamichi," said Noor adamantly.

"That is not gonna be pretty," agreed Minako.

"Right, then the arrows stay at home," Wan told Luv Angel in a firm tone.

"Nuts," the angel-girl pouted as Wan ruffled her hair conciliatorily.

"Hey," said Noor, "We're missing Guinevere, Ski Matteo and Sakex. Where are they?"

"Dunno..." said Ritz, "but I heard that Sakex has some chores to do. I think that she'll come later to help out when she's done."

"And Guinevere and Ski Matteo said that they already have an idea on what to do for the party," Virgo told the girl, "They'll come at that time to show us."

"Aa," said Noor, though in her mind she was wondering what it was the two girls were planning to do. "And White Fox and I will be the welcoming committee," said Noor, turning towards the girl with fading dyed hair, "Ok, White Fox?"

"Hai," grinned the girl.

"Alright peoples! Let's get on with it."

At the department store, four girls were picking out the materials needed for the party decorations.

"Since we pick red as the theme, we should pick silver or gold to add elegance to the festivities," said Miss Fufuru reading from a book as she walked. Minako, who had to steer her away from crashing into any displays, replied, "Gold is nice."

"Uh, Tsuki," said Linez, "We don't need need that many sticky tape."

"We don't?" asked the girl who was holding an armful of the thing.

Linez shook her head patiently while Minako and Miss Fufuru gaped.

"Are you sure?"

Looking again at the pile of sticky tape in the Tsuki's arms, Linez nodded, "Absolutely sure."

In the same store at the food section, six other girls were deciding on what to buy to serve at the party.

"Cheetos!" said Hikaru, "And Lays and Twisties!"

"Uh-huh," said Myn walking beside the bounding girl as she rolled the shopping cart along, "Anything else?"

"Cheezles and Pringles!"

Myn sweatdropped, "I mean other types of food besides chips and crackers."

"Y'know," said Enilyn, "I remember Sakuragi-kun liking the fried noodles Haruko made for him once."

"But that's Haruko," reminded Ritz.

Enilyn sighed, "True, true."

"Is that guy still hung up on her?" asked Myn

"Yeah," said Ritz, "And she still doesn't know that Rukawa-kun and Sakuragi-kun has gone steady."

The girls shook their heads pitily.

"Are you sure I don't hafta bring my arrows?" asked Luv Angel, putting on her puppy eyes.

"Yes, we're sure."

"Hey," Kitty Fox exclaimed, "I can make some fried noodles for our redheaded tensai! We'll need maybe three or four packets of noodles, fresh vegetables, onions, garlic, potatoes and a bottle of sauce."

"I'll get the veggies and potatoes," said Enilyn.

"I'll go look for some good noodles and the sauce," said Kitty Fox.

"I'll go with Enilyn," volunteered Luv Angel.

"And I'll join Kitty Fox," said Myn.

"And Ritz and I will go and get the chips and crackers," announced Hikaru taking the cart away from Myn's hands and pulling Ritz beside her. Jumping on the cart she let Ritz push her along as they sped to the junk-food section.

"Don't hit any innocent people on the way," Myn called out to them.

"Hai, Okaasan!" the two girls called back, narrowly missing a shopper along the way.

Later, back at the house, the decorations committee were busy putting up the decorations. Virgo and Rainer started to clear up the pieces of paper, cutouts or ribbons left lying around by the four girls but everytime they managed to clear up the mess, some more appeared. At last the two decided to just wait until the decorating is finished before starting on their work.

Pastles and Ruby were busy writing out the invitations in the cards they had just bought when Enilyn walked out from kitchen with a dejected look on her face.

"What's the matter?" Ruby asked the blonde girl.

"I wasn't any help in the kitchen," Enilyn told her.

"They threw you out?" Ruby gasped.

Enilyn's brown eyes widened, "Oh no! I threw myself out!"

Pastles scratched her head, "Why?"

"Well, when they asked me to do something I tend to get another person to help me do it..."

"That's not so bad," said Ruby.

"Including opening a can of corned beef."

"Those cans are sometimes really hard to open..." began Pastles.

"The can-opener is electric."

"Oh."

Seeing that Enilyn was still looking sad Pastles walked up to her and wound an arm around her shoulder.
"You can help us invite them and I know you won't need anyone's help in this job," the Chinese girl grinned before whispering something into Enilyn's ear.

As Pastles told her what she had to do Enilyn's eyes lost its sad look and her lips slowly curled up into a delighted smile.

Virgo was chatting with Rainer on the couch when she sees Noor and White Fox standing near the front door. What's so strange about that scene is that older girl kept on opening and closing the door while White Fox kept on bowing when Noor opened the door, and nodding and smiling and then pointing into the living room when Noor shut the door. And stranger still that they were doing it for nobody in particular. At some point Divon entered through that door bearing a box of liquor with Olivia behind her bringing some glasses and then Nywexia and Tita Taishi came in after a while with their collection of music cds and a player but Noor and White Fox still kept on doing the same thing - the spectacled girl opening and closing the door for no one and the younger but taller girl bowing, nodding and smiling to no one as well.

"What are you two doing?" asked Virgo puzzled.

"We're practicing welcoming the guests," replied Noor.

Rainer blinked his brown eyes behind a pair of tinted glasses, "How?"

"See," said Noor, "When I open the door the guests come in..."

"And I bow to them and say 'Welcome'," continued White Fox.

"And when I close the door they enter and they will say 'Hello' or 'How are you?'..." Noor went on.

"And we will nod and smile as we reply before I point them towards the party," finished White Fox

All Virgo and Rainer did in reply was to stare at the two girls before speaking up, "Oo~kay."

Olivia was helping Divon set up her mini bar at the corner of the room when Wan placed a box on the desk in front of them with a tired sigh.

"I found a few dealing cards and a twister board from my room. And a Pin the Donkey's Tail set from a store," the girl said adjusting her hair neatly with the comb, "I can't find any other game in which a group of basketball high-shool boys and a group of yaoi SD fans can enjoy together without having to shed any blood and dignity."

Olivia's eyes sparkled. "Oh, shedding all dignity can be good," she said remembering the embarressing situations the fan-ficcers had put the SD boys in.
"We can play 'Strip Poker' or 'Strip Twister'!" Olivia suggested eagerly.

"What?" gasped Divon seeming to sound aghast.

"Bad idea?" the girl asked biting her lip.

"I didn't say that," grinned Divon, winking impishly, "You forgot 'Spin the Bottle' and 'Truth or Dare'..."
