The Shrine to Ryoga and Ukyo

This is a shrine to the should-have-been-and-still-could-be love between "Lost Boy" Hibiki and "Spatula Girl" Kuonji! A large number of Ranma 1/2 fans agree that a more perfect match could not be acheived. In my opinion, Takahashi-sensei also seems to like them together, as she has put them together many times; the most noteworthy ones being their roles in "Nihao My Concubine" and "Oh, Cursed Tunnel of Lost Love." Even Ryoga agrees, right?

Right.

Who?

Ryoga and Ukyo are characters in Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2 manga and anime.

Why?

Both of them are lonely souls with bitter pasts, and they are both on the way to heart-break. (Ranma and Akane WILL end up together) Both don't have many friends, as Ryoga is always lost and Ukyo spend most of her life chasing after Ranma and pretending to be a boy, so the only choice left would be each other. And as some of my fellow member of ChoRUs say, Ukyo Hibiki has a nice ring to it...

How?

Their have been many speculations on how this coupling would come about, and most have been published on the Internet as Fanfictions! Most, if not all, present a possible way for the two to fall in love. Among the best of these fanfictions are The More Things Change and its sequels, The Ryoga and Ukyo Chronicles, Equal Romance, and A Lesson in Love.
