                           ********************************

It is a sunny Sunday day, and Hotaru had brought over Haruka and Michiru to show them
around Scott's antique shop she was helping out at. She showed them the main shop area, the
working area and the apartment up on top of the shop. After the tour was done, Haruka, Michiru,
and Hotaru were standing in the main display area of the shop, checking out some of the displays,
when they heard the door chimes go off. They looked over to the door and saw an old couple enter.

By looking at the couple, they could tell that they were some what related, twins by their
guess. The old couple looked around the shop like they were uncertain that they were in the
correct place. Hotaru took pity on them and went to go see what they wanted.

“Is there anything I can help you with?” Hotaru asked the couple.

“Yes.” The female of the couple replied. “We would like to speak with the owner
please.”

“That would be me. What can I help you with?” Came a male voice at the back of the
shop. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw Scott entering the main area. Hotaru
noticed the old couple smile like they found what they were looking for.

“We came to see you, you old man.” The female of the couple said, with a sneer.

Scott stopped for a moment and looked at the old couple. His expression of confusion
changed to excitement.

“Jade, Sword?” Scott asked, and after a brief nod from them, Scott gathered both of them
in a hug and they hugged back.

Scott then introduced everyone to each other and they headed up to the apartment area to
talk some more. They all sat in the living room as Scott and Hotaru got some snacks for
everybody. Jade asked Scott who the little girl is, and Scott explained the relationship to Hotaru.
He explained how Haruka and Michiru were her guardians with one other woman, and how she
asked if he could be the male ‘Family’ man that she was missing out with.

Jade looked at Hotaru and smiled when she saw Hotaru blush. Hotaru explained how she
would see all the other girls with their fathers at the park having fun, while she loved her
guardian ‘Mothers’ dearly, she just felt like she was missing out on a lot of things. Jade smiled at
her and told her it was all right.

“So how do the two of you know Scott?” Haruka asked as she looked at the couple
closely, and watched as they looked over at Scott and saw him nod at them.

“We’ve known ‘Scott’ since the 1930’s in New York.” Jade replied. Haruka, Michiru,
and Hotaru gasped wide-eyed at them and the couple laughed. “Actually, Sword only knew of
him since the 30’s, I knew of him from before, because he was the one that raised me for the first
sixteen years of my life.”

The three looked more surprised then and looked over at Scott.

“I know what you’re going to ask, and yes they know I’m an Immortal, but I think you
want to hear how we all met.”

Haruka and Michiru nods, but Hotaru was nodding vigorously. The Hua’s chuckled at
her eagerness.

“Eager little thing isn’t she.” Jade said.

“Yes she is.” Scott replied, causing Hotaru to blush a little bit. “She’s been eager all the
time when it comes to hearing a story of my past.”

“Don’t worry about it dear.” Jade said to Hotaru while patting her hand and smiling at
her. “I was the same way when I was your age.” Hotaru smiled back at Jade.

“Well to begin, the story actually begins before they were born in 1913, when I met their
father. I was going by the name of ‘Devon Knight’ at that time. It was about a year after I got
over what happened on the Titanic. A fellow antique dealer I knew needed my help in New York and asked
me to come out to help him. It was one of my days of sight seeing that I met their father.” Scott
started saying.

FALL 1913, NEW YORK

Devon had arrived in New York a couple of days ago to help his friend identify the
authenticity of a couple of antiques he wanted to buy. After he had helped him with the first
batch, Devon decided to explore New York a little bit. He decided to explore China Town first.
So he made his way to the China Town area and got into one of the rickshaws that he came
across.

As the Rickshaw operator was taking him around, Devon asked him to give him a tour of
the place, and told the operator that he would pay extra for the service. The operator agreed and
started showing him around China Town.

During the tour, Devon was asking questions about what was around, what was happening around
at that time, and some questions relating to the operator himself. Devon found out that the operator
had come to America, from China, to start a new good life for him and his wife. Devon was surprised
that he had a wife that was still in China, waiting for him. Then got another surprise when he found
out that his wife was several months pregnant. After the tour was done, Devon paid the man more than
what he was supposed to and told him to keep the change and headed back to his hotel.

It was a week later that Devon found a surprising fact. He was walking past a board that
had several wanted posters and noticed one that he recognized, it was the person who gave him
the tour of China Town. He read what he was charged with, and decided to head to China Town
to find out what was going on.

As he made his way to China Town, he suddenly realized that trying to find him in China
Town was going to be a big hassle. He knew he could not ask around, because the person was a
wanted man. After searching for several hours, Devon was about to give up when he heard
shouts of men chasing someone. So Devon decided to check out what was happening.

He followed the sound and found that three armed men were chasing the person he was
looking for. Devon silently snuck up behind the men and waited for the right moment to strike.
He listened on while the men said what they were going to do to the person before they turned
him in. It was at that moment that Devon striked.

When the leader of the three ordered his friends to shoot, he only heard the sounds of two
bodies hitting the ground. The leader whirled around and found his two friends on the ground,
unconscious and Devon standing over them.

“What the?” The man asked surprised.

“I just thought I’d even the odds.” Devon replied.

“Why you … die!” The man shouted and shot at Devon. Devon dodged but not quickly
enough and got hit the arm.

The man realized he forgot about his target and suddenly regretted it. As Devon was on
the ground because of the gunshot, the Rickshaw operator took out the man with the gun in a few
seconds. Then the operator came over and checked on Devon.

“Are you all right?” The operator asked.

“I will be … Hero.” Devon said and then smiled slightly when he saw Hero’s surprised
look. “I found a wanted poster with your picture and name on it, if you were wondering how I
knew your name.”

“Do you need a doctor?” Hero asked when he got over his surprise.

“No, I’m all right, it’s just a scratch.” Devon replied.

Hero checked the wound through the hole in the sleeve and saw that the bullet wound
was healed up. The only indication that Devon was shot was the bullet hole in the shirt and the
blood. Hero knew that Devon was shot, but there was no wound.

“I’ll tell you my story, if you tell me why everyone wants you.” Devon said.

“All right.” Hero said after thinking about it for a bit.

Hero led Devon to the Chinahouse and they sat at a table in the back and Hero started
telling his life story. Hero started saying how his story began back in China, on how an American
Trading Company had killed his parents because his father had written in the newspaper about
them. He then retaliated by killing the man that killed his father. Couple days later, he came to
America to try a better life.

He spent 36 plus days on a boat to America. The owners of the boat treated the people
poorly. They would throw their water and food on them. Then when they were in New York,
they were treated like cattle before they were sent to their destination. Him, a friend he made on
the boat, a monk by the name of Luohan, and several others were taken to the quarry by the name
of Steel Bull Canyon.

Life there wasn’t any better. They worked everyone to the point where most of the
people passed out, feed them very little, and treated them poorly. The big problems came after
the first payday. One of the fellow workers didn’t like what he was paid and made a commotion
about it. The next day, they had killed him and hung him at the top of the flagpole. Day after,
two of the foremen were killed, and they were who Hero was being accused of killing.

After Devon cleared up that Hero wasn’t the one that killed them that he was being
framed, Hero continued on with the story. Because they accused him of being the killer, they had
buried him up to his head and left him there for several days. They didn’t give him any food and
any water during those days.

It was during the third night that he was able to escape. Luohan risked his life to help
him out, but it was his martial arts brother that took him away from the Steel Bull Canyon. He
only wished he knew what happened to Luohan. His martial arts brother took care of him until he
was well enough, and Hero decided to stay in America and wait for his wife that wrote him a
letter saying that she was going to be coming to America to find him, and he’s been waiting since
then.

Devon thought over what was told to him and believed what was told to him. He could
see that Hero was waiting for his end of the deal. Devon started telling him all about his
Immortality. He saw that Hero didn’t really believe him, so he grabbed the steak knife and cut
his hand open. Hero was wide-eyed as he watched Devon cut the palm of his hand open, and
then watched as Devon used the napkin to wipe the blood away. When the blood was gone, Hero
saw that the cut was gone, and there was no scar what so ever. After that, they talked for a bit
and became friends.

When they were done eating, they said their good-byes and went their own ways. While
Devon was making his way back to his place, he started thinking he better stick around for a bit
longer, because he knew Hero was far from being safe, and with his wife coming, he would need
all the help he can get.

				*	*	*	*	*

Devon held true to his promise and stayed in New York for a while. Hero didn’t have too
much trouble after that. It was about another week after Devon had talked to Hero that Devon
found a surprise. He decided to visit China Town to check on Hero that he found him sitting
inside the Chinahouse with a woman and another man. Hero noticed him and called him over.

“Hey Devon, over here.” Hero called out and Devon went over there.

	“Hello Hero.” Devon greeted.

“I would like you to meet my wife Jade, and my friend, Sheng.” Hero introduced.

“How do you do?” Devon said, bowing slightly to Sheng, then turned to jade. “How do
you do, Ma’am?”

“I’m fine, thank you.” Jade replied.

“So you’re the lovely lady that Hero here has been telling me about.” Devon said
smiling, causing Jade to blush slightly.

Devon joined them for dinner as they got acquainted with each other. Devon told Jade
and Sheng on how he meets up with Hero when he came to New York. After the meal, Devon
had to leave, but he told them that he would come by and visit them again when he got a chance.
They said their good-byes and Devon left.

				*	*	*	*	*

It was after Christmas when Devon met up with the Hua’s again in China Town. After
walking with them around China Town, Hero took all four of them into a photo shop. Hero took
several pictures of himself and his wife, and for the last one, Devon and Sheng was in it also,
even though they practically had to drag Sheng into the picture. After the pictures were taken,
they all had dinner at the Chinahouse. It was there that Devon met Hero’s martial arts brother,
Shadow.

Devon looked in the direction that Hero and the others were looking with a surprised
expression to their faces. He saw a tall man, dressed all in black, long hair done up into a braided
ponytail, and he wore a mask that the only holes in the mask were for his eyes. The mask was
yellow with some black stripes on it. Devon became a little on the defensive when Shadow
showed up, but calmed down when the others openly greeted him.

Hero introduced Shadow to Devon and they all sat at the table to talk. When Jade was
done eating, she excused herself and went back to her room, with Sheng’s help. After Jade left,
Shadow wanted to talk to Hero, but was worried about Devon being there. Hero told him that
Devon could stay. Hero informed Shadow on how Devon had helped him from being caught.

Shadow reluctantly agreed, and started telling Hero the reason why he was there. He told
Hero the date of the challenge between their master, Pride, and Pride’s martial art’s brother,
Invincible. That Pride is asking for his presence at the challenge. They talked about it for a bit,
with Devon asking a question every once in a while, until they heard a commotion down by the
reception desk.

Shadow, Hero, and Devon glanced over the rail and looked down from the second floor
to the first, to where the commotion was. There they saw five people, four men and one woman,
dressed in black, talking to the receptionist about rooms. Shadow and Hero ducked back from the
railing, while Devon watched on. Devon turned away from the railing when he noticed the
woman looked up at him. When Devon got back to the table, Shadow asked what he saw.

“From what I heard, they’re Japanese.” Devon replied.

“How do you figure?” Shadow asked.

“When the receptionist went to get the keys, they started talking in Japanese.” Devon
said.

“What were they talking about?” Hero asked.

“Three of the men were complaining on being on the west wing and had to share one
room while the other man, who appears to be the leader, and the woman have their own room in
the other wing.” Devon replied.

“I think they are up to something. We should spy on them tonight and see what comes
up.” Shadow said.

So later that night, Shadow, Hero, and Devon jumped to the roofs and hid, so the
Japanese couldn’t see them, but they could hear what they were talking about. About halfway
through listening in, Shadow realized who they were. So they left their hiding spot and
converged at a nearby area. Shadow then said that those five were Japanese ninja assassins,
probably sent by Pride’s brother to kill Shadow and Hero.

The next night, Shadow, Hero, and Devon were walking down the alley near the
Chinahouse, ready to face the ninja assassins. Hero had his sword with him and Devon had his
sword out. They got to a t-intersection that the assassins attacked. The first one to attack was the
ninja named Earth. He used the bricks in the road to attack them, but they were able to block the
attack before the second attack came in the way of fire.

A big fireball came towards them and they were able to dodge and block the fire. When
the fire retreated and disappeared, water started forming. When big water droplets had formed,
they started heading towards the group. When the water was about to hit them, Hero held up his
sheathed sword and a distortion like shield formed and the water bounced off, and the water
retreated down the alleyway. When the water disappeared, four people jumped out of the alley
and surrounded the three.

The four people started running around the three. Hero and Devon stood their ground,
while Shadow kept trying to figure out the pattern the four were using. When the four people
started to attack, Shadow, Hero, and Devon started fighting back. Shadow and Devon fought
three of the men, while Hero fought the forth.

During the fight, Devon took a cut to his left arm, early in the fight. After about half an
hour, the Ninja assassins retreated. After the ninja left, Shadow noticed the cut on Devon’s arm
and questioned it. Devon tried to play it off, but Shadow had noticed it was a bad cut. So when
Shadow looked at the wound, he noticed that the wound was gone. Shadow looked at him
questionly and Devon said that he would explain after they find Hero. They found Hero back at
the Chinahouse, several minutes later.

				*	*	*	*	*

A couple of days later, Hero, Shadow, and Devon decided to confront Bigot, the head
man at the Steel Bull Canyon, to find out what he knew about the ninja being there. They found
him walking down the street, so they decided to corner him and have a talk to him. So when
Bigot turned the corner, Hero and Shadow stood in front of him. When Bigot saw who was in
front of him, he panicked and tried to run away, but was caught by Devon standing behind him.

As they made their way back to the Chinahouse, Hero was confronted at the entrance by
one of the workers there, saying that his wife was giving birth. Hero quickly ran up to his room,
but was forced to wait outside until the babies were born. Shadow and Devon escorted
Bigot up to the room and waited with Hero.

After a long agonizing wait, they heard the wails of two babies. Everyone waiting
outside the room, congratulated Hero on being a new father, even Bigot congratulated him. Just
then, one of the women that were in the room came out in a hurry, carrying a bunch of bloodied
towels. Hero felt some dread and ran into the room.

He found his wife lying in the bed, holding the twins, and covered in sweat. Jade gave
one of the babies to Hero to Hold. A nursemaid took the other baby from Jade so she could rest.
After a bit, Hero gave the baby he had to Sheng to hold for a bit, while he comforted his wife. It
was then that a fire broke out and Bigot used that confusion to escape. Bigot grabbed the baby
from the nursemaid and used the baby as a hostage to make his escape. Shadow and Devon ran
after him, while everyone else evacuated the building, but Shadow and Devon were unable to
keep after Bigot.

				#	#	#	#	#

“So what happened when the fire started?” Michiru asked.

“Well, Shadow and I lost Bigot in the flames.” Scott replied.

“What happened to Hero and Jade?” Michiru asked.

“Jade died due to blood loss during child birth, and Hero had Sheng raise Sword back in
China. Hero became very distraught over everything that happened.” Scott replied.

“I’m sorry to hear about your mother.” Hotaru said sadly.

“That’s all right, child.” Jade said while patting Hotaru’s hand.

“I know what you probably went through.” Hotaru said.

“Oh?” Jade said raising an eyebrow.

“I lost my mother at an early age and I lost my father in a lab explosion when I was
eleven.” Hotaru explained, and then Jade reached over and gave Hotaru a hug and smiled warmly
at her.

“What happened to Hero, why did he ask his friend to raise his son?” Haruka asked.

“He had to deal with a fortune teller that Uncle Shadow took father to.” Sword replied.

	“What happened?” Haruka asked.

“The fortune teller told him he was born under the ‘Star of Death’.” Scott said.

“’Star of Death’?” Haruka, Michiru, and Hotaru asked confused.

“A superstition that Hero took to heart.” Scott said.

	“What happened?” Michiru asked.

“From what I could remember, the fortune teller told him that everyone that is close to
him that he cares for, will die. Prime examples that set him to believe in it was the death of his
parents and the death of his wife.” Scott told them.

“Don’t forget to tell them why he had to stay away from us.” Jade told Scott.

“Oh yeah.” Scott said, remembering the other half. “He was told that he had to stay
away from his children, especially his daughter, or else great tragedy will happen. Because of
that, he left his children in order to save them.”

“Speaking of the ‘daughter’, since she is here, you guys found her.” Haruka said.

“Yes, I did after Hero and Shadow left for Japan to be there for their Master’s challenge.
I had cornered Bigot and ‘persuaded’ him to tell me what happened to Hero’s daughter. Bigot
was more than willing to hand her over. When Bigot gave her to me, I headed back to Wisconsin
to look after her until I could get a hold of Hero.” Scott said.

“So did you come across Hero?” Haruka asked.

“Unfortunately no I didn’t.” Scott said.

	“So what happened?” Haruka asked.

“I had to go to the Nashimoto Shrine for a personal reason. While I was in Japan, I ran
across Shadow. I explained that I found Hero’s daughter and was wondering what to do.
Shadow told me to raise her until Hero was ready to meet her. He explained that Hero ran off
after their Master died, after giving Hero the secret of their fighting style. So for sixteen years, I
raised Jade up, naming her after her mother. I continually wrote letters to Shadow to keep him
updated and to find out any word on Hero. Then one day, Shadow sent me a letter asking I bring
Jade to New York.” Scott said.

	“For what?” Hotaru asked.

“For a family reunion.” Jade said smiling.

1930 NEW YORK

Jade and Devon arrived in New York and headed over to the Chinahouse. When they got
there, they found it practically empty. When Devon asked where everyone went to, he was told
that the Chinahouse was hosting a show at the Steel Bull Canyon. Devon thanked the person and
told Jade that they were heading over to the Steel Bull Canyon.

When they got there, they stood at a top of a hill that gave a good overall look of the
place. When they got there, they saw the performance going on, and stood there watching it.
Then all of a sudden, the lead performer threw a spear and took out one of the foremen there, and
then all hell broke loose.

Devon placed a restraining hand on Jade’s shoulder to prevent her from entering the
battle. They watched on as the Chinese people attacked the foremen of the quarry. They watched
as trucks came in and started loading people on as the Americans started shooting at the Chinese
people, and then started throwing dynamite. Devon had to restrain Jade again from entering the
fight.

In a moment, Devon noticed Bigot trying to escape, but was being chased by one of the
Chinese performers. He watched as the performer got suckered and was on his back with Bigot
pointing a gun at him. Devon then saw movement and Bigot was thrown several feet and lost his
gun. Devon noticed that the person who threw Bigot was none other than Hero himself.

Devon stood there in surprise at seeing Hero. From the distance he was at, he saw that
Hero had looked like he did sixteen years ago, but now had some gray hair. His attention was
taken away from Hero when he heard a big explosion. He looked in the direction and noticed the
building that housed the explosives, exploded. Lying in the rubble was a lone man, and he looked
like he wasn’t going to live for much longer. He saw Hero run over to the man and talked to him
for a bit before the man died.

Devon then heard several horse sounds and noticed several men riding horses entering
the place. He watched as Hero stood up and faced the on coming men. Devon stood shocked as
he saw Hero thrust his arms forward and an explosion occurred in front of the horsemen. The
horsemen were knocked off their horses and those who weren’t, started to retreat. The ones that
were off their horses, got back on and high tailed it out of there. Devon figured it was time to
leave, so he motioned to Jade that it was time to go. She started walking away and Devon took
one last glance back and saw that Hero was looking up at his position. Devon wasn’t really
concerned about it and left.

				*	*	*	*	*

That night, Devon had Jade stay at the hotel room until he got back. Jade argued for a bit
before she relented and Devon headed over to the Chinahouse to see Hero. He found Hero on the
roof thinking, Devon then got his attention.

	“Hero.” Devon called out.

“Hello Devon.” Hero said with his back towards Devon.

“It’s good to see you again.” Devon said.

“It’s good to see you again also.” Hero said.

“I’m sorry about what happened to Pride.”

“It’s all right. I saw you at the Steel Bull Canyon.”

	“Yes I was there.”

	“Who were you with?”

“I don’t know if I should tell you.”

	“Who?”

“Your daughter.” Hero whirled around and faced Devon with a shocked expression
before Hero managed to gain control of his emotions again. “I found her a couple of days after
you and Shadow left for Japan. I tried to pass a message to you, but you disappeared.”

	“My daughter.”

“I named her Jade, after her mother, I hope that it was all right.”

	“Yes.”

“Here.” Devon said while holding out an envelope. “I know you are not suppose to be
with her, so I hope these pictures will help you. They were taken at her birthday every year.”

Hero opened the envelope and saw that it was filled with pictures. He leaved through
them, with a tear in his eye, as he noticed it was indeed his daughter. “I thank you for looking
after her.”

“No problem that is what friends are for.”

“Father.” Came a male voice behind them. They turn to see Sword standing there.

“I’ll talk to you later.” Devon said then left Hero alone with Sword.

				*	*	*	*	*

Next day, after Devon had a talk to Jade about why she went and talked to her father last
night. Jade’s reason persuaded Devon to end the argument. The reason being that she had to at
least wanted to meet her father at least once. Devon conceded since it already happened and there
was nothing he could do about it. Since Devon knew that the Chinahouse was going to be in
trouble, because of what they did at the quarry. So Devon and Jade made their way there. When
they got there, they heard a commotion going on, so they went to the roof and looked to see what
was going on.

When they looked over, they saw a person dressed all in white, fighting a bunch of
people. The group of people, Devon realized, was from the Chinahouse, and the man that they
were fighting was blind. Devon thought it was a little unfair that several people were fighting one
blind man until he saw that the blind man was beating everyone up. The man kept beating
everyone up until Hero came and stopped him.

Devon heard the man tell Hero that it was time to finish their fight. Devon heard Hero
call the man Invincible, and Devon remembered it was the name of Hero’s Master’s brother’s
name. Devon heard Hero say that this wasn’t the place to fight and Invincible agreed and left to
fight at a different place. He watched as Hero waved his hand and caused a Lion statue to
crumble to reveal the red sword of Hero's. He drew the sword and hoped on top of a lamppost and
then gave a parting speech, and went after Invincible.

Devon decided to follow Hero and to see what would happen. He told Jade to watch over
the people in the Chinahouse, while he went to follow Hero. As Devon hoped away, Jade
watched on as the people went to tending the injured. She kept waiting until she heard several
engines and voices approaching. When the noise got closer, she noticed that they were KKK
members in the trucks and marching next to the trucks.

Jade watched them carefully as they lined up in front of the Chinahouse. She watched on
as the Chinese argued with the KKK. Then all of a sudden, the KKK started shooting at the
Chinese people. The Chinese started heading into the Chinahouse to try and avoid the bullets.
Some of the Chinese were unable to make it, got shot. After a bit, the KKK stopped shooting and
started chanting ‘Come on out’ over and over.

Jade had enough and jumped down into the group of KKK members. She knew who the
leader was by watching the group for a bit and fought her way to him. The KKK members tried
to stop her, but she made her way to the leader and grabbed him from behind with an arm lock
and knife to his throat. She made her way backwards towards the Chinahouse, facing the KKK.

When Jade got to the Chinahouse, she noticed all the KKK members that had guns, were
facing her with guns aimed at her. The leader was telling Jade that she better let him go, or she
won’t live to see the next day. Jade replied to him that if her life means taking out one of the
leaders of KKK, then so be it. The leader was going to comment on it, but they heard vehicle
engines and hoof beats approaching. Everyone turned to the sound and saw the police
approaching.

When the police arrived, the police aimed their guns at the KKK. The police chief came
forward and looked at the situation that was happening. He turned and faced Jade and the man
she was holding. The police chief told Jade to let the man go. Jade released the man, and the
man wanted the police to arrest her, but the police chief told the man that from what he sees, she
was defending her friends. After that, the police chief told the man to leave and never return back
to China Town again. The man may have the Klan to back him, but the police have the people
backing them.

The Klan started to leave, but the leader had a parting statement before he left.

“You may have won this fight, but we will win this war. We will be back, especially for
you girl.” Said the leader. With that, the KKK left and everyone came out of the Chinahouse and
thanked the police and Jade.

	“What happened then?” Hotaru asked.

“Well, when Uncle Sheng saw me, he thought he was seeing things. Sheng and Sword
didn’t believe who I was until Shadow verified it. Needless to say, the expressions on their faces
were priceless.” Jade said.

“So what happened to Hero?” Haruka asked.

“He defeated Invincible at the Statue of Liberty by killing him. That and the Statue of
Liberty didn’t fare to well in the fight.” Scott said.

“Wait, I remember something about how the Statue of Liberty was damaged and the city
didn’t know what happened.” Michiru said.

“That would be what happened.” Scott said.

“Whoa.” Haruka said, remembering the history she read about it.

“So what’s been happening lately?” Scott asked.

“Well, we eventually got married. Sword married Shadow’s daughter, Kate, and I
married a man I met in college.” Jade said.

“I had three kids, two sons and one daughter. I’m expecting my forth grandchild soon.
Jade had two kids, one son and one daughter, and she has one grandkid. Here’s the latest family
gathering picture we had.” Sword said handing over a picture to Scott.

“Nice family.” Scott replied after looking at the picture and past it to Hotaru so she could
see.

“Thank you.” Sword and Jade replied.

“Now I have an item for your family.” Scott said as he got up and went into the back
room. He came back several minutes later with a wrapped bundle. Scott then set it in front of the
Hua’s. “Sorry it took so long, but the materials were very hard to come by.”

Sword unwrapped the bundle and reveled the red sword.

	“Father’s sword.” Sword said.

“Yes. The fight with Invincible broke the sword. I promised Hero I would repair it and
give it to both of you when I was finished.” Scott said.

Everyone marveled as they looked at the sword as they saw it pulse with a red light. The
Hua’s thanked him and said their good-byes and left the shop. Haruka and Michiru left shortly
after them and Hotaru helped Scott clean the place up. Scott placed the picture Sword gave him
with the one of him, Sheng, Hero, and Jade. He smiled at the scene and left to finish cleaning his
shop.

The end.
