Chapter Eleven
Epilogue

“It’s going to blow!”
Rei yelled out while her, along with the others, dove for cover
when they had reached the others waiting for them. The others knew
that something was going on before the group that was still inside
came running out. The ground had started shaking, alerting them to
something was wrong. When the group came running out, they followed
what was shouted out.
Just as everyone shielded themselves, and those that were
unconscious were shielded by the others, a few moments later, what they
feared happened, the ship exploded. The Senshi and the others covered
their eyes as the ship exploded upwards; causing a bright flash due to
the explosion and all the dirt it threw up in the sky. The explosion
destroyed the energy storage container, releasing all the energy that
was stolen.
The energy came away from the ship in a wave. Since the Senshi
and the others were protecting themselves from the dirt and debris from
the explosion, they didn’t see the energy wave coming towards them.
They knew something passed over them when they felt a shock wave like
feeling pass over them. What the Senshi didn’t see, due to their eyes
being closed, was that the energy burned away the field that was preventing
them from using their Mana energy form, and their Fuku’s shifted back to
it’s normal look.
When the dust and debris finally settled, everyone that was
conscious looked around. The first thing the Senshi noticed was that
their Fuku’s were back to their original look. After they got over
their surprise, they remembered that there were injured people with
them, so they quickly went to check them out. Of the Senshi, Sailor
Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter were regaining consciousness, but were
still a little woozy yet. Of Ranma’s friends, they all were all right,
just tired, a little bruised, but otherwise okay. But the problem lay
with Ranma and Ryoga, they were still unconscious and they couldn’t
wake them up.
Then all of a sudden, sirens could be heard and the Senshi knew
they had to leave, but they didn’t want to leave Ranma, Ryoga, and the
ones they rescued, Kasumi saw their predicament.
“Don’t worry about them or us, we will make sure they are all
right and they arrive at a hospital.” Kasumi said. The Senshi thanked
them and they were gone by the time the police and city officials arrived.

Ranma woke up with a splitting headache. He opened his eyes and
looked around the room. He found out that he was in a hospital and he
was lying on a bed. When he was done looking around, he noticed that
Hotaru was in a chair next to him sleeping, using the bed as a pillow.
At that time, the door to his room opened and in walked a female doctor.
The doctor looked over at Ranma and saw that he was awake.
“I see you are awake. How are you feeling?” The doctor asked.
“A little tired and a little sore, but other than that, I’m
feeling fine.” Ranma replied.
“That’s good to hear, I’m your doctor, Kitomi Mizuno.” Dr. Mizuno
said.
“Ami’s mother?” Ranma asked when he got a good look at the doctor.
“Yes. I was surprised when she said she knew you.”
“Slight problems of being famous.” Ranma said smiling. Just at
that moment, Hotaru stirred.
“It’s amazing; she’s been with you or the other fellow that came in
you. Wouldn’t leave either one of your sides.”
“That’s because she is our niece. Speaking of the other guy how is
Ryoga?”
“Your friend is still unconscious, and we have no idea what is wrong
with him.” Dr. Mizuno said and Hotaru woke up at that moment.
“Hey short stuff, enjoy your nap?” Ranma asked.
“Uncle Ranma, you’re awake!” Hotaru exclaimed when she realized who
was talking to her and went and gave him a hug.
“I’ll leave you two alone for now, but if you are up to it, there are
several people that want to see you.” Dr. Mizuno said waiting for Ranma’s
answer.
“Okay, sure.” Ranma said and then Dr. Mizuno left the room.
After the doctor left, Hotaru started talking about how worried she
was when either he or Ryoga wouldn’t wake up. A few minutes later, the door
opened up and all of the Senshi, except the cats and Sailor Pluto, came into
the room. Ranma said hi to them and the Senshi went and thanked him for all
the help that he and Ryoga did for them. Ranma accepted their thanks and
went to ask Ami for a favor.
“What do you need Ranma?” Ami asked.
“I need you to check Ryoga out. He shouldn’t be out cold this long.”
Ranma replied.
“Okay.” Ami said.
Ami left the room and headed to the room Ryoga was staying in and
pulled out her computer. She started the scan and as she was doing the scan,
she was looking at Ryoga. She was admiring how he looked, how peaceful he
was sleeping. Her thoughts started drifting the more she thought of him, when
he was helping her learn martial arts and stuff. When her computer beeped,
signifying it was finished, she started blushing when she realized her
thoughts were drifting to the naughty side. She tried to calm herself
down some before she saw what her computer was going to tell her. When
she saw the results, she gasped at what she saw and made her way back to
tell Ranma what was wrong.
“Well, what’s wrong with Ryoga?” Ranma asked.
“I found two things wrong with him.” Ami replied.
“What are they?”
“Well, the first one is some sort of transformation.”
“That would be his Jusenkyo curse.”
“The same as you?” Makoto asked.
“Similar.” Ranma replied.
“He changes into P-chan.” Hotaru said chuckling.
“What!?” Everyone else exclaimed in surprise.
“Yes, his curse turns him into a piglet.” Ranma said to the Senshi’s
confused look.
“Whoa.” They said.
“What is the other problem?” Ranma asked.
“It appears that he is overcharged with negative energy.” Ami replied.
“I was afraid of that.” Ranma said.
“What’s wrong?” Several of them asked.
“Ryoga’s strength is his anger and his depression. He’s been depressed
a lot since I knew him.” Ranma said.
“Is there anything we can do?” Usagi asked.
“I don’t know, but I do know one person that may know something.” Ranma
said.
“Who?” Usagi asked.
“The same person that helped Hotaru with her problem.” Ranma said
“Do you think she can help?” Michiru asked.
“Only way to find out is to ask.” Ranma said.
“I hope so.”
Ami had meant to say that to herself, but accidentally said it loud enough
that the others heard her. When she noticed the others looking at her, she
started blushing hotly. Some of the girls started smiling when they started
piecing together that Ami had a crush on Ryoga, so they started teasing her.
The rest knew that it was time to leave, so they started heading out of the room.
The rest followed shortly, still teasing Ami, leaving Hotaru to stay with Ranma.
An hour later, Hotaru was still with Ranma, playing a few card games when
Ranma had another visitor.
“How’s it going, Son-in-law?” Came a familiar voice.
“How’d you know I was here?” Ranma asked surprised to see Cologne standing
there.
“I have my ways.” Cologne said and then faced Hotaru. “How are you doing
childe?”
“I’m doing all right, thank you for your help.” Hotaru said.
“You are welcome, childe.”
“So what are you doing here?” Ranma asked.
“Can’t I check to see how my Son-in-law is doing?” Cologne said.
“I’m not your Son-in-law.” Ranma said.
“Can’t blame an old woman for hoping.” Cologne said.
“Can you help us out?” Hotaru asked.
“What do you need my help with?” Cologne asked, surprised that Hotaru was
the one asking.
“My other uncle needs the help.” Hotaru said.
“Ryoga seems to be overcharged with Negative chi and is in a coma of some
sort.” Ranma explained for Cologne.
“I’ll see what I can do.” Cologne said.
Cologne left the room and went to Ryoga’s room. She found him sleeping on
the bed and before she entered the room, she could feel the huge quantity of
negative chi. After she entered the room, she scanned over Ryoga and realized
what was wrong. She then headed back to Ranma’s room to tell him what was wrong.
“You were correct, he is overcharged with negative chi.” Cologne said.
“Is there a way to help him?” Hotaru asked.
“Oh sure, we only have to give him a positive emotional experience and
that should reverse the negative charge.” Cologne said.
“Thank you.” Hotaru said.
“You’re welcome childe.” Cologne said and then left the room.
The next day, Ranma was released from the hospital and he went to his
mother’s house with Hotaru. When he got there, he found out that his mother
and father were getting a divorce and she was headed to the Tendo Dojo to
make it final, so Ranma and Hotaru went along to be her. At the Dojo, while
Genma and Nodoka were in the dojo finalizing the divorce, Ranma and Hotaru
were sitting, waiting for Nodoka to return. Soun was crying over Genma’s
divorce, Kasumi was pleasantly serving treats to Ranma and Hotaru, Nabiki
was calculating plans of what to do with Ranma and Hotaru, and Akane was
glaring at Ranma and Hotaru. After a bit, Nodoka returned and told Ranma
that his father wanted to see him.
So Ranma went to the dojo and found his father waiting for him.
“What do you want pop?” Ranma asked.
“Son, it’s time you make a decision.” Genma said.
“About what?” Ranma asked confused.
“About the honor of the Saotome name.”
“What do you want?”
“You must choose between me or your mother.” Genma said, making
mother sound bad, causing Ranma to get angry.
“What have you ever done for me?”
“I have done everything in your interest.”
“The only good thing you ever did for me was teach me martial art,
but some of the methods could be questionable.”
“Don’t question my ways boy, it was all for you.”
“Yeah right. Multiple fiancées, a lot of debts, questionable training
methods, and other things I still have yet to find out.”
“Boy …”
The argument continued on until it came to trading blows. At the end,
Genma was laying on the ground, a bloody pulp. Ranma then left the Dojo, but
before her left, he told his father that he will no longer be a Saotome and
that he will no longer honor any promise made in the Saotome name. He then
left and headed back to Hotaru and his mother. Both of them knew that the
meeting didn’t go well. Ranma came in and sat next to Hotaru. Hotaru
unconsciously leaned into him. When Akane saw that, it didn’t sit well with
her.
“I can’t believe you. Here you are flirting with another girl in my
own house, much less a younger one.” Akane said angrily.
Akane then started to attack Ranma. Ranma pushed Hotaru out of the
way and took the fight out to the yard. Everyone watched as Ranma kept
dodging Akane’s punches as she kept arguing about how she hated Ranma. When
Akane’s insults started pointing towards Hotaru and Nodoka, Hotaru got upset
and before Nodoka could stop her, Hotaru ran out to confront Akane.
“Stop attacking Ranma, he’s nothing like that.” Hotaru yelled at Akane.
“What do you know, you floozy.” Akane shouted back as she went and punched
Hotaru in the face, knocking her to the ground. Akane turned around to face Ranma,
when she saw that Ranma was in front of her and his foot had kicked her in the gut,
causing her to stumbled backwards and hold her gut.
“I let the insults go because I know you like to shout them out, but when you
attacked my niece, I couldn’t let that go. If you threaten her again, my view of
attacking a girl is off.” Ranma said.
“When I’m done pounding you, I’m going to finish with her.” Akane said.
Akane rushed towards Ranma and his eyes narrowed and in a matter of thirty
seconds, Akane lay on the ground unconscious. Ranma then went over to Hotaru and
checked to see if she was all right. He found that she was all right, but she was
going to have a black eye for a few days. When they were about to head back in,
Soun started his demon head technique.
“How dare you attack my little girl.” Soun shouted out. Hotaru was about
to grab her henshin rod when Ranma shouted back.
“Stuff it, Mr. Tendo. She’s been asking for me to go all out on her for a
long time. Also I told her if she threatened my niece again, I would fight back.”
Ranma said.
“But …” Mr. Tendo started to say, shrinking out of his demon head technique.
“And you can forget about the engagement. I will never marry some one that
is that psychotic.” Ranma said.
“The Tendo/Saotome pledge must be honored.” Soun said.
“Then take that up with Genma, for I am no longer a Saotome.” Ranma said.
“What?” Soun asked surprised.
“Let’s go.” Ranma said.
Ranma didn’t feel like discussing it, so Nodoka, Hotaru, and Ranma left the
Tendo Dojo. Nabiki watched all that happened and started planning on how to make
what happened to her advantage. She also needed a way to recoup her losses for
what has been happening recently.
“Hey daddy, I got a proposition for you.” Nabiki said.

While Ranma, Hotaru, and Nodoka were at the Tendo Dojo, Ami was going to
check on Ryoga. She still couldn’t believe that he turned into a piglet. Hotaru
had called to tell them what was found out about a way to help Ryoga. No one
could figure out a way for Ryoga to have a positive emotional experience while he
was unconscious. So Ami took it upon herself to at least visit him for a while.
While she was sitting, watching Ryoga, she was thinking about her emotions and
how they dealt with Ryoga. After a bit, she accepted the fact that she was
falling in love with Ryoga. So she leaned over and whispered into Ryoga’s ear.
“I love you.” Ami whispered and kissed him on the lips.
As she sat down, Ryoga started to moan. Ami stared in surprise as she saw
Ryoga wake up and look around the room. His eyes finally settled on Ami.
“Ami?” Ryoga asked dazed.
“Hello Ryoga.” Ami said shyly.
“I had a strange dream where you said you loved me.” Ryoga said and then
noticed Ami blushing hotly. “Ami?”
“You weren’t dreaming.” Ami said.
“Whaa?” Ryoga asked surprised but was quieted when Ami placed her finger
on his lips.
“Quiet.” Ami said. She and Ryoga spent the rest of the day talking and
dealing with their new relationship.

Nabiki had started on a plan after she got her father to shift the engagement
to her. The first part of her plan was to get rid of the competition for Ranma’s
hand in marriage. The second part was to announce about the new engagement nation
wide. She was now starting her first part of her plan, and she had to pull a lot
of strings and call in a lot of favors.
The first that she did was commit both of the Kuno’s to an insane asylum.
With all the evidence she had, it was easy to prove how crazy they were. She
watched on as the Kuno’s were dragged out of their house and placed into the truck
that was going to the asylum. Once the truck left, she made her way to the
immigration office.
Later in the day, several immigration agents went to the Neko-haten. Once
they were there, they confronted Cologne and Shampoo, mousse was a duck at the time,
and informed them about their improper Visa’s to the country. Shampoo was going to
argue but Cologne stopped her and they closed the café. After Cologne and Shampoo
were escorted out and placed in cars to be escorted to the office, the few remaining
agents stayed to look around the place. While they were looking they were talking
near Mousse.
“It’s a good thing that Ms. Tendo contacted us, look at all these exotic herbs
here. There’s enough evidence here to have us export them back to China.” The agent
said.
When Mousse heard that, he became angry. After the agents left, he wiggled
himself free from his leash and decided that he needed Ranma’s help. Once he was
free, he headed into the direction he last knew where Ranma could be and went to
find him to tell him what Nabiki was doing.
The last obstacle for Nabiki was to get rid of Ukyo. Her plan was to use
the Health Department. Ukyo was surprised when agents from the Health Department
showed up, but she let them do their job. After they were done with their inspection,
Ukyo was very surprised when they showed her all the discrepancies. The result of
the inspection caused Ukyo to shut down her shop for health reasons. What Ukyo
didn’t know was that Nabiki had given the Health Department false violations.
Nabiki smiled when she saw a sign on Ukyo’s door that read ‘Closed until further
noticed.’

A couple of days later, Ranma had gotten Mousses report and was upset when he
heard that Nabiki had gotten Cologne and Shampoo exiled from Japan. He became angry
when Ukyo told him about what had happened to her. What really got to him was when
Hotaru came in with a newspaper which main headline was announcing of Nabiki and
Ranma’s engagement. When Nodoka saw that, she told him to get a hold of a lawyer.
It was surprising that it was Setsuna that gave him a name for a good lawyer.
After Ranma talked to the lawyer, the lawyer told him to talk to the others
and then called a press conference. Ranma agreed to what the lawyer said and went
to see Ukyo. After talking to Ukyo, she agreed to go to the press conference,
Ranma then went to talk to the Senshi. Ranma talked to them and they agreed to
help out. Ranma then talked to Ryoga and his mother and they agreed to both be
there.
At the press conference, Ranma was surprised at how many people showed up.
He was glad that his mother and his friends showed up. When the appointed time
came, he walked out and stood in front of the podium and took a deep breath. He
never realized how nervous he really was when he started this. After his deep
breath, he started talking.
“I thank all of you for showing up here today. I have called this press
conference to help straighten out the rumors going around about my engagement
to one Nabiki Tendo.” Ranma started saying. Several camera flashes were going
off and then several of the reporters started raising hands for questions. “If
you all can wait for me to finish what I want to say, I will then answer
questions.” Ranma pauses and sees all the hands go down. “As everyone knows,
the engagement to Akane Tendo was annulled between us. So her sister has taken
it upon herself to switch the engagement to herself. What she seemed to have
forgotten was the day I annulled the engagement to her sister, I also have
dropped the Saotome name.” Many gasps were heard at that comment. “The
reason for that is a private matter, but I will tell you it has to deal with a
conflict between my father and mother. So because I am no longer a Saotome,
all promises made in the Saotome name will no longer be held to me. So if
you have any business with a Saotome, you must go to a Genma Saotome. I know
a bunch of you are wondering what my name is now, I have taken my mothers
maiden name, Morihoshi.
“So as I was saying, the announcement of my engagement to Nabiki Tendo
is a lie. I have no intention of marrying her; she has set that up to ruin
me. As much as I can, there will be no marriage between me and any other
Tendo. I will now …”
“Hold it!”
Everyone turned to the shout and found Nabiki standing there with several
people behind her. She made her way up to the podium and stared at Ranma.
Ranma stared back at her with no fear in his eyes.
“What are you doing here?” Ranma asked flatly.
“I came to break up this press conference and to make you understand
your situation.” Nabiki said and then noticed Ranma’s cocky grin. “What
are you smiling at?”
“You.”
Everyone turned to the sound and they saw the Senshi standing there.
But when everyone got a closer look, they noticed that the people standing
there wore similar clothing to the Senshi, but the color scheme was all wrong.
Ranma noticed that the Senshi were trying to play it off as they were a different
group. He even noticed that Sailor Moon and Chibi-Moon had undone their hairstyle
and wore it in a normal ponytail. Actually when he looked at them, he noticed
that each one of them had their hair done in a different style. He smiled at
the thought of what they were doing.
“Who are you all suppose to be?” Nabiki asked.
“We are Ranma’s personal bodyguards.” Usagi said.
“I guess my sister was right when she said Ranma was a pervert, look at
the way you all are dressed, a bunch of Sailor Senshi wannabe’s.” Nabiki sneered.
“The way we dress is of our own choosing.” Usagi said.
“So what are you going to do?” Nabiki said.
“We are here to escort you and your friends away from this press conference.”
Usagi said.
“And how are you going to do that?” Nabiki said.
“We didn’t want to use this, but we have a court order here, banning you, or
family, and any of your business friends from being within 1000 yards of Ranma and
his mother.” Setsuna said, holding up a piece of paper that Nabiki recognized as
a court order.
“You haven’t heard the end of this Ranma.” Nabiki said.
Nabiki walked away with her people following behind her. After she was gone,
Ranma stepped up to the podium again as the Senshi spilt into two groups and stood
at each end of the podium. Once the Senshi were standing, Ranma started again.
“Now that the interruption is over, I have one last bit of information I want
to discuss here. Ukyo can you come over here please?” Ranma asked.
Ukyo looked surprised that Ranma wanted her to step up there with him, but she
went up there to stand next to him, wondering what he wanted. As she was standing
next to him, she watched as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small case.
Her pulse started racing as she watched him get on one knee and opened the small
case to reveal a ring.
“Ukyo Kounji, will you marry me?” Ranma asked and it took her a few seconds
to get over the surprise and went and hugged Ranma and started giving him a kiss
shouting out:
“Yes!”
Several photographers started taking pictures of the scene. No one really paid
attention to the Senshi as they smiled for Ranma, also Nodoka was smiling for her son.
She had images of grandchildren running through her mind. She blushed a little when
she remembered about Hotaru, but she still had her hopes. So she watched on as
everyone else, the scene before her.

After the press conference was over, Setsuna made her way back to the Gates of
Time to undo the look she had done for the help with Ranma. As she was combing out
her hair, she heard a familiar voice behind her.
“Having fun?” Sailor Pluto asked.
“You should know.” Setsuna said, placing the comb down and turning to see her
future self standing there in her Ki/chi outfit. “What do you want?”
“To let you know you can see the future again.”
Setsuna turned to the gates and looked at the future. She saw that Ranma had
married Ukyo and had three kids. She saw that Ranma had made peace with the amazons
by helping them when they needed it. Because of Genma not having a scapegoat to pass
any blame on to, all his past debts had caught up with him and he was unable to handle
it all, that he committed Seppuku. Without his friend around, and the pledge was a
complete bust, Mr. Tendo had cried himself to death. Kasumi had married Dr. Tofu and
inherited the Dojo. Nabiki had disappeared after her father died and no one knows
where she is. And Akane was kidnapped by another wandering prince and wasn’t seen
again.
She was amazed when she saw that a week after Ranma’s wedding, Ryoga and Ami
got married with Ranma being the best man. The last she noticed was of Crystal Tokyo.
She saw that it was still there, but a little different. She saw that the change was
do to the Senshi’s new powers. She also saw that the Senshi had stopped being Ranma
body guards when Nabiki stopped the production of Ranma stuff. No one had figured
out that Ranma’s body guards and the Senshi were the same people.
“You knew.” Setsuna said.
“Yes, and if I allowed you to do as you wished, you would have killed Ranma and
Ryoga right when Hotaru would have found out about them being her uncles. By doing
that, you would have turned Saturn against us and the Earth would have been destroyed
when she used her attack to kill everyone.” Pluto said.
“Why?”
“She teamed up with everyone that considered themselves ‘friends’ of Ranma or
Ryoga and fought the Senshi. The Senshi were able to defend themselves, but it cost
them the energy to defend against Saturn.”
“Then I must thank you for what you did, but why are you in our other Fuku?”
“That is a secret.” Sailor Pluto said laughing as she disappeared, leaving a
frustrated Setsuna.
