Forgotten Child
Notes::: Well, once again, this is a rough copy. Damn, damn, short. It would be nice if you can tell me what you think.
The darkness engulfs everything aound her. Nothing can she
see, and just like death, she is feelingless. She had forgotten
what had it been like...
Chaotic voices, sounds brushed in a frenzied state around,
illuminating the slience of the darkness even more...
When they passed, she got up, from the darkness, turned, whirled
and ran away from her sins.
From the people who condemned her.
Her doings, she could see no wrong in. Just a way of revenge...
Who asked her to be born in the east side of town, where the socs
at the otehr side had it all? Who made her the underpriveledged
in the east side, hoods, greasers and all?
An unseen obstacle lay in her way as she lost herself in her
thoughts and she fell flat on her face. Just as she was getting
up, she felt something sharp, pressed against the back of her
neck.
Cold and unfeeling, the blade lay in her wrath, and a voice said,
"Greaser, no way you're gonna go."
There was five of them, socs, drunk and stinky, polluting the
very air she breathed in, polluting the very place of darkness
she had lived in.
She choked, the blade still against her, getting deeper, her
neck, feeling deeper with the sting of a wound, and still going
in.
Someone shoved her down, from the side, and she lay gasping, as
someone else grabbed her and pinned her down before she tried to
get up.
Tears began to sting her eyes, as did the crimson at the back of
her neck did, and she cried in horror. Someone's hands grabbed
her, and her memory, from then onwards, became nothing, nothing
she had chosen...
It had been confirmed, and she let go of whatever she was
holding and sobbed. In that moment, she was dead.
She would not have came up alive, anymore...
Her fear leaped in bounds as he stepped in to the room.
She looked into his beautiful eyes, amber, beautiful jewels of
love and concern, his feautres, arched in worry, his hair,
slicked back in grease with rebellious strands hanging...
She thought of him, what he would say, if she was having someone
else's child, not his, unknown, unidentified, unwanted, to be a
scar in her mind.
A scar on both of them... She wheeled, both her mind and her
physical existence, and past him, ran away from reality, from the
truth and herself.
Ran away.
She remembered herself, forgotten as a child. The ruins of
humanity, human morals, values, had turned her from the family.
She had grown up, all alone, after her stepfather died. And her
stepfather had not exactly been nice either.
Unpleasant memories, like that night, resembling, came and
invaded her once serene mind again.
Now, she was there again, that fateful place of shadows...
She cried, sobs shaking her soul, and she took out the switch
blade she had gotten the day after.
"If I can't comfort me, let me lie in crimson..."
He was panting. Driving around town all day, trying to find
her, trying to tell her that he was not that kind of person... He
truly loved her, as much as his soul would permit.
Now... He turned in the alley, and walked in... It seemed so
scary, it felt so strange an alienated to him. As is there was a
night of horrible memories... What he did not know. That was all
he felt, that was all he knew.
He walked in, looking around in caution, dark awed eyes embraced
with fear...
The shadows that lurked in the alley surrounded like a nightmare,
as his eyes scanned in all thoughts.
Suddenly, he tripped, over an unseen obstacle, against his way,
and fell.
A nightmare began, as he saw, something... Someone lying in a
pool of blood.
