Bob Kiwi & Company - Coming Attractions

I figured if I let you hoardes of why-haven't-you-updated loonies know what plots were traipsing about my brain, you just might harrass me into finishing some of them. At present, I'm bouncing between scribbling Buccanneers, the mystery fic, and Scythe in Time, but I'll take fan input into consideration. Also, most of these are working titles, so if you think you've got a better pun/play on words, let me hear it! (I've *attempted* to list things in order of priority and/or percent completed, but with creativity demons as volatile as mine, it's an approximation, at best.)

Title: Debt of Honor
Plot Summary: Jennies takes leave of her sanity and allows her creativity demons to point out just how completely *random* they can be. Consider this a Random Interlude.
Status: Finished. Now if only I could find the entity responsible for it and present it with a commendation (complete with ceremonial whacking-with-trout).
Page Count: Twenty pages and approximately 93 panels.

Title: The Comic Challenge
Plot Summary: A collection of short comics that have lost their dialogue. It's up to the fans to save these scenes from silent movie infamy while Jennies searches for their lost audio tracks!
Status: Work-In-Progress. Presently this is an experiment, but depending on fan response, I may make it a permanent feature. It's kinda fun, and it's got me working on two things I need to improve in order to do a webcomic: short scenes and quick art production.
Page Count Goal: With luck, none of these should be more than a page. But I hope to amass quite a collection of them!

Title: Midnight in the Garden of Cute and Evil
Plot Summary: Bobetta has invited Bob and friends up for a weekend at her dear departed great-uncle's estate, since it's ever so much more fun to admire your inheritance in front of others. Surrounded by miles of pristine mountain wilderness, the estate is infinitely impressive. Gardens, forests, fountains, a palacial mansion - this place has everything. Including a dark, dangerous secret...
Status: Work-In-Progress. I'm trying to map out the plot in advance while drawing scenes at a reasonable pace...and drawing them in order. At this point I'm not entirely certain how this experiment will turn out, but it should prove a learning experience. The first few pages are up now, and you can take a look at the teaser for an idea of the prevalent tone...
Teasers: Five Minutes to Filming
Page Count Goal: I have absolutely no idea. I'd like to open the bidding at 50. What really scares me is that I'm trying this as a comic. (Say it with me now: Long-Term Project)

Title: Bob Kiwi: Buccaneer
Plot Summary: Bob & Company are out for a cruise when they're attacked by pirates! The group is captured, Bob loses his memory, and chaos ensues! (Set after Search for Cuteness, but otherwise ambiguous, time-wise.)
Status: Work-In-Progress: Stalled. The main thread just isn't going anywhere, the sub-plots are sneaking away from pure humor, and the jokes are running thin. My creativity demons have grown bored with this, so unless I get an infusion of devious inspiration, this fic may stay stalled for a long time. I've posted the first section on the off-chance Bob's fans might spark my interest in it again.
Page Count Goal: Currently 30 pages, which shoots my original page count goal of 40-50 completely to hell. Current Page Count Goal: 75.

Title: A Scythe in Time
Plot Summary: Due to a plot device not yet explained, our heros (and some of our enemies) find themselves transported back to Medieval Europe, tasked with a mythical quest. What the quest is, I don't yet know. But it'll involve magic. And swordfights. Lots of swordfights...
Status: Quasi-in-Progress. I seem to be writing this in bits and scenelets, like a piecemeal patchwork quilt. I've got a handful of scenelets romping joyfully through my head, the skeletal outlines of a quest and ending, and an embryonic plot that is developing encouragingly.
Page Count Goal: I have absolutely no idea. I'll speculate once I have a plot. But I'll bet you this: it'll be long.

Title: You Didn't Hear It From Me
Plot Summary: The Evil Sir Ivan Kiwi finds himself obliged to relate his life story. The abridged version, of course.
Status: Stalled. First half done, but I think my creativity demons abandoned me as soon as the Jackal & Hyde mark was in sight. I know Ivan did *something* in Europe before returning to the States to build himself a criminal empire. I just need to get him to tell me *what*.
Page Count Goal: Currently at 18. Desperately trying to keep this under 30.

Title: Jackal & Hyde
Plot Summary: Flash back 8 years, to when our heros were only teens, and witness the first time two of our favorite devious characters crossed paths. Treasure-hunting in Egypt hasn't changed much in the last century - travel is hard, treason is high, and the rewards are few but far-rewarding. But watch your step. Cicily is just across the shore...
Status: Queued. Semi-planned out, a few scenes sketched. Fun, but not much plot yet. I've posted the bit I've done so far; fans can badger me into working on it more.
Teasers: Prologue
Page Count Goal: I doubt this'll top 20 pages. (I lie, of course.)

Title: Chain Gang (Working Title)
Plot Summary: A bust goes bad, and Bob finds himself chained to his archnemesis!
Status: On Hold. Debating making this a comic instead of a fic, since it oughta be rather short. A couple of scenes pondered, but nothing else.
Page Count Goal: If it's a fic, it won't be more than 20 pages (blatant lie). If it's a comic, I won't let it run past 5.

Title: A Bad Penny (Working Title)
Plot Summary: You've heard the saying to the effect that a bad penny always turns up when you least expect? Months after leaving him for dead, Galaxia returns to Earth in search of D'Gal, to hire his assistance for her next assignment.
Status: On Hold. I forgot what exactly this assignment was. I think it had something to do with scouting the Invisible Ducks' territorial borders, or something. The Bagels've had that wormhole-generator for months, and they've all got itchy trigger fingers. But they'll have to wait until I rediscover the plot.
Page Count Goal: Let's just say 100 and accept the fact that I lie like a cheap area rug.

Title: Shades of Gray
Plot Summary: Vyceria, the desolate wasteland that gave rise to the galactically-infamous Black Knights, was once a lush world with a civilization much like any other in the Platyrian Empire. But when disaster strikes and allies turn a blind eye on the orb, life takes a turn for the worse. What do you do when your world is dying but no one will let you leave?
Status: On Hold. I can't say much more without spoiling bits of Open Season, so you'll just have to wait. I *will* say that dear, violent Jesmynne is in this, along with, at some point, Lita, Galaxia, and Drake. The Prologue is up, but that's really all I can offer you now. D'Gal is significantly easier to write now that he's so jaded; his younger self is harder to capture with any degree of accuracy.
Teasers: Prologue
Page Count Goal: I dunno. How long do you think a decade's worth of villainous deeds can stretch? To make matters worse, a heckuva lot of them aren't even D'Gal's!

So let it be written. So let it be done.
