eriol first appears in the sakura card series with nakuru and spinel sun. he appears to be a very sweet and kind boy and to sakura's amazement, he looks a lot like sakura's father and yukito. however, his intentions are not as good. he is actually clow reed. well, he's the reincarnation but yeah, he's clow reed. no wait, he's half of the reincarnation of clow reed. (@_@ oro?) shocking, isn't it? the main antagonist of the story. his appearance seems to differ as well when using his magic. when not using his magic, he has this pleasant smile and this smile never seems to cease. eriol seems innocent and has a loveable personality. actually, when he looks like this, he does resemble yukito and fujitaka. however, when he uses his magic, his eyes narrow into this freakish stare. that's my description of it...it's freakish, alright. newayz, in place of that pleasant smile is a cruel smile. his guardians are nakuru (ruby moon) and spinel sun . eriol seems to care about them deeply. speaking of caring, he also seems to care a lot for sakura. i.e. when they were talking to each other under a tree, tomoyo commented that it looked like a romantic movie (much to shaolan's dismay, mind you... ^^;) newayz, he seems to be extremely powerful in the art of magic. more powerful than shaolan and I think for the moment, more powerful than sakura. but that changes later.
wish: ya see, eriol is half of the reincarnation of clow reed. (fujitaka is the other) and eriol's wish is _not_ to be the most powerful wizard on earth but in order to transfer his magic, he must find someone more powerful than him. thus, as sakura changes each card she becomes more powerful and eventually is able to fulfill eriol's wish. apparently, being the most powerful person isn't what it's kicked up to be cause since you always know the future. this was clow reed's wish as well.
kaho: eriol and kaho are in love. 0_o tho, the age difference is huge, eriol is actually older than kaho. remember, he should be exactly fujitaka's age and either changed himself to look younger or made himself younger. newayz, these two are definately in love. kaho had already predicted that after she and touya separated that when they met again, they would both have a new loved one, which was true. they met in england. eriol seems to be the more responsible one as kaho is always forgetting things and getting lost. ^^
