Duo is the pilot with the most personality. Most of the time, he appears to be cheerful and very happy-go-lucky, and in almost any situation, his sense of humour is never too far away. It is this type of personality that seems to (though, probably unintentionally) disguise Duo's obsession with death. He has, in fact, often deemed himself the God of Death. His sense of humour also hides the fact that he can be quite deadly. He is a good fighter, an excellent pilot, a talented mechanic and when necessary, can be very serious. (ie. when Hilde was escaping the Libra with valuable information and yelled at her for putting her life at risk.)

Duo is often scene wearing black clothes, a black cap and a priest's collar.
