Sakura is fast asleep.
Sakura: The sun and moon are being covered.
She then focuses the silhouettes of two figures. One is remarkably female looking and the other feline.
Sakura: So similar to Kero-chan and Yue-san...
//From now on, "I" will give you trouble...//
Sakura: ...Clow-san's voice.
//But...when it concerns you, it should be no problem.//
The dream that shows a small unmasked boy garbed in a unique and slightly regal looking costume. In his hand, he carries a long staff with the top portion shaped as the sun.
Sakura: ...you are...
Sakura: That staff...
The dream focuses on the staff and then shows Clow Reed carrying the same staff.
Sakura: looks exactly the same as Clow-san's...
The young boy looks over his shoulder and smiles. The dream seems to lighten again and Tokyo Tower can be seen (as almost all CLAMP mangas like to focus on).
Sakura: ...only...su...everyone...wake...
***
Sakura then wakes up from her dream and sleepily sits up from her bed. Kero-chan is slowly waking up himself and Sakura notices that the person in her dream is the same person she saw in the pond at the temple.
Later, (after Sakura told Kero-chan about the dream), Kero-chan tells Sakura that the dream was prophetic (allowing her to see the future). However, Sakura then interjects by saying that until today, she could not remember her dream. Kero-chan explains that a lot of the Clow Cards have been transformed into Sakura Cards and her powers have grown immensely. Because of this, she can now remember what happens in her dreams.
Sakura then wonders why she could not remember her dreams before and Kero-chan ominously states that someone had placed a spell on her. He doesn't know who would do such a thing but there's a good chance that the people in the dream are behind it. Also, in the dream Sakura heard Clow-san's voice and they discuss what he had said when he recognized Sakura as the new mistress. They do not know why he would be the cause of Sakura's problems but all Sakura knows is that everytime something happens, she senses Clow-sans energy. The things that Sakura saw and the memories of Kero-chan and Yue are not the same. There's a good chance that Clow before he died did something. Since Clow Reed was extremely powerful, it would not matter if he had died a long time ago.
With this, Sakura picks up her Sakura Cards and says that she is determined to go there and see. Kero-chan asks where and Sakura answers to the place in her dream.

Shaolan: You're going to the place in your dream?!
Sakura and Shaolan are standing outside near their school. Sakura says that she thinks that it is Tokyo Tower. She has a lot of questions. Why are the people in her dream so similar to Yue-san and Kero-chan? Why is Clow-san's staff the same as "that" person's? And what will happen at that place? She wants to go there and check it out. Shaolan realizes that this is the same person she saw at the temple. Sakura says that this is true (hai) and says that it will be alright because Ker-chan said that her powers are very strong. Shaolan asks whether or not she is going today and she says that she will. Both her brother and father won't be home. Shaolan then states that he will go but if this has to do with Clow Reed, he doesn't believe he will be a lot of help. Sakura does not agree. Shaolan has always been helping her and when she thinks that Shaolan is by her side, she feels very safe. (YAY!!!!) Shaolan looks surprised at Sakura's words and then remembers Tomoyo's words. He begins to confess again but backs out immediately. However, he does say that after this is all over, he will tell her. They pinky swear on it.
Elsewhere, Tomoyo is watching the young pair. She is carrying papers with Eriol and Eriol comments on how she watches the two with nice eyes. Tomoyo smiles at Eriol and replies that Eriol does this too. This surprises Eriol but then he smiles back.
Back at the Kinomoto house, Sakura arrives to find out that hse has received a letter from Mizuki sensei. She was very happy to have received Sakura's letter and says that the event that will happen will occur on the day that she receives this letter. She gives Sakura some words of encouragement and is wishing her luck. As a last note, she says that the help she needs is within Sakura. At this letter, Sakura is unsure of its meaning. Just then her father walks in with the laundrey and he notices that something is wrong. He could tell right away because he is her father. Sakura hugs Fujitaka and Fujitaka says that if there is anything he can help, just tell him. Sakura says that she will but for now, she's alright. As she hugs her father, Sakura notices that the feeling she feels is the same as when she is with Eriol.
Back at Eriol's house, Suppi-chan notices that Eriol has decided to act today. It is time for this to end and Eriol says that Sakura's powers are now strong. (CLAMP really likes to emphasize things today. ^^) At that moment, Nakaru happily walks in and gives Eriol a letter. Nakuru explains cheerfully that she ate lunch with Yukito and Touya. She begins to talk more about the lunch and how Yukito got Touya's magic. Nakuru then goes to Eriol's chair where Eriol is sitting and wonders why Eriol isn't very serious in his fighting. Eriol then states up and omeniously states that today, she will understand... In his hand is the letter which can be clearly seen...it is from Kaho.
(getting longer and longer...)
Later, Tomoyo, Sakura, Kero-chan and Shaolan arrive at Tokyo Tower. Sakura looks a little embarassed and this isn't surprising since Tomoyo is having her natural high over the new costume. Also, Sakura's not comfortable wearing strange clothes in such a public place. Tomoyo replies that it's just like they're recording a film...of course, then she points out Shaolan (half scaring him ^^) and says that he is also wearing his own costume. Shaolan explains that if anything should happen, his outfut makes it easier to move around. At this remark, Tomoyo gets even more excited and says that it _will_ look like they're making a movie. However, Tomoyo notices that there is nobody around and this is very unusual for this time of day. Adding to the conversation, Sakura also notices that whenever something happens, there is nobody around. She wonder who the person is... and then a person from above replies that it is he.
Meanwhile, Yukito and Touya are working at a flower shop. Touya was complaining about Nakuru but Yukito expressed that he didn't mind at all. Suddenly, Yukito's eyes widen and immediately turns into Yue. His master is in danger...
(and longer and longer...)
Back at Tokyo Tower...Sakura immediately recognizes the culprit. It's Eriol. This is the first time Kero-chan has seen Eriol and asks if this is the person who changed schools. Sakura replies that it is and Kero-chan is even more shocked to find that Eriol's aura is exactly like Clow Reed's. Shaolan wonders how this could be and another figure from above answers that it _just_ is. Sakura looks up and recognizes the figure to be Nakuru. Suppi-chan is with her and then they introduce their true selves. Nakuru transforms into Ruby Moon and Suppi-chan transforms into Spinel Sun. Everyone notices the similarity between them, and Yue and Kerberos. It is because the person who made Kerberos and Yue is the same person who made Ruby Moon and Spinel Sun. Eriol then starts chanting and lets his own key change into a long staff. He explains that in this life, his name is Eriol but in his past life, he was Clow Reed...
***
All the pieces to the puzzle seem to fit together but Kero-chan doesn't understand why he tricked Sakura. Eriol smiles and then states that it is because that is how he will get what he wants. With that he brings his staff into the air and great magic begins to be emitted towards the sky. Tokyo gets darker and darker and Eriol causes an eclipse to occur. As soon as the sun is covered by the moon, Tomoyo falls towards the ground. At that same moment, Touya who was running towards Tokyo Tower with Yue collapses. It seems that everyone in Tokyo has fallen asleep: Takeshi, Chiharu, Riku...to name a few. Shaolan himself is on the verge of collapsing and with great effort, Shaolan asks what Eriol has done. Eriol replies that everything has been engulfed by darkness and all of its inhabitants have fallen asleep...never to wake again...
