The breaking up of the group doesn't mean the end for the members of X Japan. But yesterday, a horrible message came from Japan, saying that the lead gutarist of X Japan which had broke up for less than half a year, had chosen a path leading to the end, had commited suicide in Tokyo, at the age of thirty three.
From the year 1989 X Japan formed, was it so popular that it could be compared to it's most popular later generation, Glay. Hide, with the original name Hideto Matsumoto may no be the soul of the group, but he was the most popular among the three guitarists. His death is so sudden that his fans would not have dared to believe it. Because there was no will, his reason for commiting suicide was unknown.
Hide (according to some people) had reached home at six thirty, and at seven thirty his girlfriend, who lived with him, came home to find that he was hanging there, and called the police immediately. When the ambulance arrived Hide was still alive, although barely. At the hospital, after many hours of reviving, he was claimed to be dead.
Although X Japan had broken up, it still had an unfinished concert in thailand, which
may be canceled because of this. And Hide had formed a new group called "Hide with Spread Beaver", and the single, "Rocket Dive" was the fourth on the line of the most popular ones. According to logic Hide would not have commited suicide because of his carreer, and the reason for his death had became a mystery. Hide had chosen a path to the end, and author only hope that his fans will remain calm, and do not go with him along the path of death.
