RISK
To laugh is to risk looking like a fool.
To cry is to risk looing sentimental.
To reach out to another person is to risk involvement.
To show your true feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your ideas and your dreams before the group is to risk losing them.
To love another is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failing.
But risks must be taken, because the greatest danger in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, has nothing and ends up being nothing.
He may avoid pain, suffering and sadness.
But he cannot learn, feel, change, grown, love, laugh and live!
He is chained by his beliefs, he is a slave, and has given up his chance of being truly free.
Only a person who risks is free.
