Ayashi no Ceres
"Aya Mikage, this crystal ball can predict
your future. Please listen to my words.....your future will be controlled
by a dark star, I can only see blood, angish and sadness. The peacefulness
of this world will exists no more. On the day when the 16 stars meet with
the moon, your fate will be decided. Heed my words, for whether the future
of this world is bright or dark depends on you...."
Vol 1 :
Aya and Aki are twins. On the eve of
their 16th birthday, they went to a fortune-teller. This fortune-teller
told them that their lives will change on their coming birthday. Indeed,
while on their way home, they met with a robber and aya gave chase. Aya
slipped and fell over the overhead bridge and for the briefest moment,
she saw a strange symbol and began to float. However, she was too absorbed
by what she's feeling to notice the oncoming traffic! Luckily a youth dashed
across the road and saved her.
The next day, which was their 16th birthday,
the twins and their parents showed up at the Mikage household which all
of their relatives were present. Their grandfather brought out a box and
asked the twins to open it. To everyone's surprise, the Ceres in Aya was
released and Aki suddenly stumbled in pain and had bloody slashes on his
whole body. Aya became the target of the whole Mikage family and everyone
is after her life......
