Vol 1 : Goodbye! This Life!!
This story is about the strange encounters
of our hero, Yusuke Urameshi. He is a tough secondary school student who
likes to fight and play truant. One day, Yusuke met with an accident when
he tried to save a little boy from the oncoming traffic. He died instantly
and found himself floating in the air as a spirit. He met Botan, a Reikai
(spiritual world) messenger who brought him to see JR-Ko-Enma (Prince of
Reikai) as the King of Reikai was on business trip. From JR, Yusuke realised
that his death was unexpected as the little boy was not fated to die in
the first place. As Yusuke's death was unexpected, he cannot to go heaven
nor hell. JR decided to give him a chance to be reborn onli if he undertakes
the test of hatching a beast egg. What the beast hatches to be depends
very much on the person hatching it, thus JR encourages Yusuke to do more
good deeds. Yusuke had no choice but to undertake the mission as he wishes
to go back to the human world again. He follows Botan around, lending a
helping hand to humans and spirits in need. Each task completed will help
the egg to hatch faster.
Nearly a month, JR allows Yusuke to return to
his body for a day, will Yusuke make full use of his time? Stay tuned....^_^
Vol 2 : The Golden Wakening
After Yusuke completed several tasks,
JR decided to allow Yusuke to return to his body even before the beast
egg hatches. This is because the Reikai leaders found Yusuke a complex
person and it would be easier to understand him if he were alive. However,
this turns out to be another test for Yusuke as he was appointed the detective
for Reikai. He was required to follow the orders and catch criminals of
Reikai. One of the most difficult mission JR sent him is to capture three
criminals of Reikai. Can he complete the mission sucessfully? Read on....
Vol 3 : The Evil Forest
As a detective for Reikai, Yusuke had
to capture the three criminals who stole Reikai's treasure weapons and
bring them back to Reikai. Although the first demon was easy to kill, the
other two however were much more powerful. Luckily for Yusuke, one of them
called Karama had no wish to fight him, he only request to use the treasure
weapon once to save his mother's life and after that he would return it
to Yusuke. The other one however, was arrogant and very powerful. His name
is Hiei and had an evil eye and incredible speed. Yusuke was definately
no match for him, so how did he managed to defeat Hiei in the end??
Vol 4 : Challenge from the Demons
Yusuke next mission is to defeat the
Four Animal Gods and get a magic flute. This magic flute will kill the
demon insects which feast on human's life. Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama and
Hiei broke into the demon's den. Here, they will face the animal gods namely,
the stone turtle, the green dragon, the white tiger and lastly and the
most powerful red phoenix. They must defeat them fast as time is running
out. On the other hand, the red phoenix had Keiko on his hand, how can
Yusuke's group defeat enemy without hurting Keiko?
Vol 5 : Concentrate!
After defeating the Four Animal Gods,
Yusuke's group became the main target of many demons' attention. Many wanted
to defeat the four of them to increase their fame in the demon world. At
this time, the B.B.C became very interested in them and wanted to force
them to enter the 'Dark Arts Meet' held for the demons. Will Yusuke's group
come to the meet ?
