口音

xph 個人資料 \| email	posted 03-30-99 1:25 AM PT (US) 英文腔調不外乎是英國腔, 美國腔, 北方腔, 南方腔, 等看電影時注意到三四十年代的美國腔和現在的不太一樣有點像英國腔但又不完全是語調急促一串串句子像連珠炮似的為什麼會這樣呢?

macgyver 個人資料 \| email	posted 03-30-99 3:39 AM PT (US) 早期的美國人其英文的發音和英國人相同, 但美國其實是個滿懶惰的民族,其發因方式為求方便簡單,往往連音連的滿嚴重的,漸漸就出現差異了! 其實不只發音,很多原本很長的英文單字, 到了老美手中就縮水了!

xph 個人資料 \| email	posted 03-30-99 10:58 AM PT (US) 抱歉不應該講"不外乎"的想講的是北美的腔調柯林頓是南方腔但到白宮六七年他的南方口音竟然少了許多 Mel Gibson本是澳洲腔現在也完全聽不出來了只有阿諾還保持著歐洲腔
Xiren 個人資料 \| email	posted 03-30-99 11:37 AM PT (US) 僅僅在美國，各地方的人說話都有不同的口音－－東北部人 (Yankees) 說話快、連音多；南方人說話慢、懶音多；中西部人較無特殊腔調。比較著名的口音有：Boston, Brooklyn, Southern , Texan, Californian, 還有 "Ebonics"(黑人的「語言」)等。至於虱目魚所說的三四十年代的美國腔和現在的不太一樣，大概是東北口音。早期電影多在紐約製作，後來才漸漸移到 Hollywood，現在電影演員來自四方，除了特殊需要須使用特殊口音，平常南腔北調都有，但因 Hollywood 在加州，還是以加州口音為主流。

I don't think that's the reason why Americans don't use British English. People like to add flavors to languages to create their own identities. The same thing can be seen in English used in Australia, Canada and South Africa. Or just look at the Chinese variants used in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
