I have that problem too, when I, in Toronto, want to go to some webpage in Taiwan, I always find that it's so SLOW. However I have no problems with HK webpages. WHY??? |

well, I have the problem, too....I think it is because that the internet in Taiwan is not good enough....too many people on the same highway, which make the link very slowly..... |

There's a command in Win95 version of DOS to find out what server do you go through when you reach a site. If a connection between a server to Taiwan is slow (slow connection, busy server, etc...) then it'll make the whole connection slow. Why HK sites don't have the problem? Because when you're trying link to HK's site, they don't go through the lagged server. That's the possible explanation to the Taiwan Server speed problem that I could think of. |
