I teased at life as if it were a foolish game, the way the evening breeze may tease a candle flame. The thousand dreams I dreamed, the splendid things I planned I always built alas on weak and shifting sand. I lived by night and shunned the naked light of the day and only now I see how the years ran away. Yesterday when I was young so many drinking songs were waiting to be sung, so many wayward pleasures lay in store for me and so much pain my dazzled eyes refused to see. I ran so fast that time and youth at last ran out, I never stopped to think what life was all about and every conversation I can now recall concerned itself with me and nothing else at all. Qiu Ying 個人資料 \| email	posted 07-10-99 6:52 AM PT (US) 秋水，原來你也喜愛Colours of the Wind嗎？真巧呢！當天被朋友強拉著去看這部卡通片，誰知竟被歌曲吸引著，戲散了，就買了一張原聲唱片仔細聆聽。歌詞寫得真好。英文歌聽得不多，歌詞也不太熟，不過早些時很流行的That's Why，曾經陪伴我度過很多煩擾的日子。一些英文老歌的曲詞也不錯，可惜我記不全，印象中Smoke Gets in Your Eyes和Killing Me Softly With His Song也很好。

Qiu Ying 個人資料 \| email	posted 07-10-99 6:52 AM PT (US) 秋水，原來你也喜愛Colours of the Wind嗎？真巧呢！當天被朋友強拉著去看這部卡通片，誰知竟被歌曲吸引著，戲散了，就買了一張原聲唱片仔細聆聽。歌詞寫得真好。英文歌聽得不多，歌詞也不太熟，不過早些時很流行的That's Why，曾經陪伴我度過很多煩擾的日子。一些英文老歌的曲詞也不錯，可惜我記不全，印象中Smoke Gets in Your Eyes和Killing Me Softly With His Song也很好。
