Alex (short for Alexandria) is a bright and athletic, not so much out going and uses the term “Curiosity killed the dog.” She is not as normal as Presley says. Alex knew that she had the princess’ spirit in her ever since she was old enough to understand. She was not even surprised that there were mummies that were alive, after all she had has been living with a talking cat.
Alex realizes her duty and responsibility but it is not that hard for her. As Alex acts as a true leader when she puts her heart into it. Her grandmother is the only one who knows that Alex has a princess spirit inside her, although Alex has shouted it out loud a million times. Rose has brought up Alex to face the responsibility. Alex knows that only can Presley rule the world, but like a side kick, she stays by his side and corrects the things he has done wrong.
As Presley, Alex has duties and weapons also. Alex has mastered some karate and almost mastered egypt-su. It’s kind of hard to master egypt-su from a cat! She has also mastered a sword or in her case a dagger. Ja-kal is also helping her use a bow and arrow and sometimes for fun the bomber ra. Alex is excellent at fighting Scarab or her minions, or even dealing with monsters. Rath is teaching her how to use magic. Alex will only become off guard if she sees a NORMAL cat, not a talking one.
Alex enjoys a struggle, not so much a challenge. Alex loves being Amera and having 4 mummies and a cat hovering over her. After all everyone thinks she’s odd. Alex does have one best friend, besides Kineta, and his name is Martin. Martin is from Egypt, as is Alex, and he is also a little over protective because she seems like his little sister.
Alex was born in Giza, Egypt, some stuff Presley does still is foreign to her. This is why Alex understands the mummies well. She often tells Presley “Don’t be so hard on them. They woke up after 3500 years and everything has changed from how they live to how they eat.”
Alex is most happy when she is all alone ( after all she does live with a guardian cat) or when she is with the mummies. Alex always thinks of how her life would be if she never had the princess’s spirit in her, but she doesn’t mind. Ja-kal would rather put Alex 2nd in command because Alex thinks ahead. His problem with her, is that her motto is “ If all fails, fight,fight,fight!” Alex angers quickly when Kineta bugs her and is having one her days. When this happens, she’s demanding, but is most of the time is cheerful and always takes care to other peoples feelings. She is very courageous as long as it has nothing to do with heights. Alex does not have very good people skills. This is one of the reasons why Ja-kal and Alex are good friends.
It may seem that Alex is smarter than Presley, but she just tries harder.
Bascially Alex is a young girl that puts up a wall to the world, on the outside she may seem a happy cheerful girl, but on the inside she's lonely, and sad, she's a girl that needs her friends more then anything
