“You’ll be fine. Anyways, I have to go! Mrs. Mackenzie will be here around 5:30. I told her you’ll babysit, so I expect you to,”Amanda said.
“But girls babysit, not guys”Presley wined.
Amanda opened the door, “Be good”
“Tell that to the kids” he mumbled under his breath. Presley looked at his watch. “I’ve still got time before she comes”

“And what’s this do?” Kineta asked as she pushed a red button.
“Do not touch that!”shouted Rath.
A grin spread over her face, “And why not?”
Poof! What was Kineta’s white fur, turned pitch black from ashes.
“That’s why” Rath sighed.
“Ahhhh”Kineta said as if she understood.
“Oh, go annoy someone else” Rath said as he pushed her off his desk.
“ Someone woke up on the wrong side of the scarcoughagous!” she yelled as she walked away.
“What happened to you?”Presley asked.
“Don’t ask” Kineta grumbled.
Ja-kal sighed and shook his head “and what brings you here my prince?”
“Oh, nothing”Presley said as he sat down beside Alex who was playing a video game with Nefertina
“Alex, I need to ask you something”
“Huh?” Alex looked at him, then quickly back to the T.V. “NO!” Alex shouted at the controller flew up in the air and hit her on the head. “Ow” she said rubbing her head.
“Pay up” Nefertina said holding out her hand.
“But, it was his fault...” Alex said pointing at Presley
“A deal is a deal”
Alex grumbled and took out $5 and handed it to her.
Presley continued, “Well, I need you to help me babysit....the Mackenzie kids”
Alex laughed, “I may be new here, but I’m sorry, I’d like to keep my sanity”
“Please”
“What about Nefertina”
“What does she know about babysitting. I’m supposed to sit them, not kill them.
“Jakal used to have a kid, what about him”
“Well...”
“I’ll go if Ja-kal can come for a few minutes”
“Why”
“So he can cover for me while I sneak out
“Oh-Please Alex”
“What’s in it for me”
“Uh, I’ll do anything for you for a week”
Alex thought of Presley cleaning her room and serving her breakfast in bed.
“Deal”Alex said as they shook hands “Heh, heh”

Nefertina dropped Alex and Presley off in the Hot-Ra. They walked up the steps as Presley took out his keys and opened up the door.
“So what do ya have to eat” Alex asked digging into the fridge.
The door bell rang. Presley gave a wimper as he went to answer the door. He slowly opened up the door, but no one was there. “Huh?” Alex walked out the door and crouched down.
“Alex..”
“Shh”Alex whispered “Go get your Bomer-Ra”
Presley did as he was told and tried to give it to Alex. She pushed it away. “Aim at the Bush”
Presley pulled back his arm and threw. Out came Tiny. “Ow. What’s the big idea”he said.
“I could ask the same” Presley said as they crossed their arms.
“H-h-hi g-guys” Tiny stumbled. Then he dashed away as a car pulled up.
Presley moaned. “This is the last minute of my sanity”he whispered to Alex.
“Shh” was the reply as Mrs mackenzie walked up to Presley and Alex.

“Now, be good kids. I don’t want to hear that you were bad”Mrs. Mackenzie said.
A grin spread across their faces. “We will!” They chimed in unison.
Mrs. Mackenzie went back to her car, blew them kisses, and drove off. As soon as she was gone, the pair of twins scrambled in the house and disappeared before Presley or Alex could sputter a word. They searched the house and finally found them in Presley’s room, it was messier than usual.
“How about we clean...”Alex stopped because they were already off somewhere. When they had finished cleaning up, they searched again and found them in the living room.
Presley screamed. Alex stood in aw. ”You broke my mom’s favorite vase!”he shouted. The twins fell down and started bawling. Presley groaned.
Alex tried to calm them “Now, now. Let’s see, my name’s Alex and that’s Presley. What are your names?”
They immedately stopped crying and chimed in unison. “Marie and Maria, why do you have a boy’s name?”
“It’s short for Alexandria”
“How ‘bout we go to the park and I can figure out what to do about this mess” Presley suggested.
“Yea!”
