Side Yard/Garden

Ah... the side yard. The most tranquil and violent area in the Tendo Dojo estate. Here is where you'll meet a lot of the Tendo's friends and enemies alike.

During the morning, you'll often find Ranma and Genma hard at training as they spar with each other. More often than not, you'll see Ranma and Genma go out and Ranko and Mr. Panda come back.

Name: Genma Saotome/Mr. Panda

Occupation: Father of Ranma, Martial arts teacher // Pet of Ranko, lazy pet (Since that faithful day he fell into the spring of drown panda, Genma has been cursed with the panda form. After their first meeting with Nodoka, Genma pretended to be the female Ranma's pet panda to hide himself from Nodoka)

Personality: Confusing towards other people // Playful, Lazy (Genma is one of the confusing characters, one never knows what he'll think of next when it comes to teaching Ranma. In his alter form, Mr. Panda does nothing but eat, sleep and play with round objects. Ranma has good reason to call him lazy to everyone)

Ability: Curse of Drowned Panda, A skilled martial artist // Playing innocent (Genma fell into the spring of drowned panda when he was training Ranma at Jusenkyo. His skill still surpasses Ranma in many respect, but he's a glutton for punishment if he does something stupid. In his alter form, Mr. Panda constantly plays the innocent one, even though the situation is mostly his fault)

Likes: Food, A nice game of Shogi or Go, His old friend Soun Tendo, Seeing Ranma and Akane marry (His panda form is no different than his human form. He wants to see Ranma marry Akane, and fulfill his promise to his old friend. Genma is a sucker for food. Any food offered to him, he graciously takes regardless of the consequences)

Dislikes: Lazy people // Leftovers (Genma is constantly annoyed at Ranma's lazy attitude towards his training. As panda form, Genma is constantly being given the leftovers when ever Nodoka is around. Serves him right!)

Name: Ranma Saotome / Ranko

Occupation: Martial Artist // Akane's cousin (Ranma trains himself as a martial artist, and a pretty darn good one too. However, whenever Nodoka waltz into the Tendo Dojo, Ranma always hops into the pond and becomes Akane's cousin, Ranko)

Personality: Confident, Strong, Not very understanding (In both his male and female form, Ranma keeps his/her personality constantly. Even though Nodoka thinks that Ranko can be a little too boyish, Ranma doesn't really mind)

Ability: Curse of Drowned Girl, A increadibly martial artist // Playing sweet & innocent (Ranma fell into the spring of drown girl in Jusenkyo, as a result, he turns into a girl with red hair. Ranma's skills are increadible in adapting to any techniques or skills which he finds useful. In his alter form, Ranko is faster, much faster in fighting due to her light weight. She has the ability to play the sweet innocent girl type and darn good at it too)

Likes: Food, Akane (Ranma fights Genma for food practically every meal time. Those fights eventually comes to the side of the yard and ends with a splash. Even though Ranma won't admit it, he does deeply care for Akane)

Dislikes: Forceful parents & fiancees, Akane, (Anyone who dares force Ranma into marrying anyone better think twice. Ranma is extremely annoyed at people who force themselves or anyone else on him. Even though he likes Akane on the inside, Akane is always knocking him out of the house and into the pond)

During the afternoon and the rest of the day, the side yard is mostly considered a disaster area. All of Ranma's fiancees and enemies visits Ranma and all ends up in a big fight.

Name: Ryoga Hibiki / P-chan

Occupation: Wandering Martial Art/Explorer Extrodenair (not by choice) // Akane's Pet (by choice) (Ryoga is known as the Eternal Lost Boy. Forever wondering around the world, trying to get to the Tendo Dojo. Must be a genetic thing... even his parents are like that! ^_^ Ryoga's alter form, P-chan, is Akane's pet. Ryoga is incredibly content being Akane's little pet pig)

Personality: Extremely depress (80% of the time), Easily tricked or confuse, Obsessive rivalry with Ranma, Has a very short fuse, A gentleman at heart, A heart of glass, (Ryoga's constant depression fuels himself. If he ever gets cheerful, it will be the end of the world! Ryoga's easily tricked, not to say he's dumb, just easily fooled. Ryoga's short fuse and his obsession to defeat Ranma are two things which should not be mixed. Even with all his depression and anger, Ryoga really has a heart of gold, and also a heart of glass. Easily broken by the slightest reject from anyone)

Ability: Incredible/Superhuman Strength, Supernatural endurance, Absolutely NO sense of direction, Flings razor shape multiple bandana, Cooking, Fighting (Ryoga is renouned for his increadible strength. His endurance is partially his own doing and is also because of the training he got from Cologne, when he learned his breaking point technique. Ryoga's no sense of direction cannot be explained. No matter what he does, he cannot find the room next door... well, he takes about a week to do that. Ryoga's bandannas is a mystery that'll never be solved. One wonders just how many bandannas does he have? Ryoga is an excellent fighter, his only rival is Ranma, who is always just one step in front of him)

Likes: Akane, Akari, Shirotao, His parents (if he can find them) (Ryoga loves Akane, no matter how hard he tries, he just cannot gather enough courage to ask her out. Akari is a girl who loves pigs. And so, Ryoga is rather fond of Akari (*Note* In the end of the Ranma 1/2 series, Ryoga disappears by walking away with the image of Akari in his head) Ryoga's dog, Shirotao, is loyal and fun loving towards Ryoga. Ryoga's very proud of her, cause she also can help him get home!)

Dislikes: Ranma, Anyone who upsets Akane, Anyone who tries to cook him, (His constant rival, Ranma, Ryoga hates him, but still respects him in a small sort of way. Ryoga's extremely protective of Akane's feelings, anyone who speaks badly of her, they'll have to answer to Ryoga Hibiki! Don't ask about the cooking. In Ryoga's pig form, some people have tried to cook him)

Name: Tatewaki Kuno

Occupation: Blue Thunder of Furinkan High, Head of the Kuno Estate (Known as the Blue Thunder of Furinkan High, Kuno is one of the wealthiest student in all of Furinkan High. (*Note* Kuno's father, is the crazy, Hawaiian-mad principle of Furinkan High) Even though his father still lives, Kuno is the one incharge of the Kuno Estates and everything else)

Personality: Pompus, Hard-headed, Egotistical, Boastful, Proud, Stubborn, Extremely two/three timing, Ignorant... etc. etc. (Too many thing to describe Kuno's personality)

Ability: Skilled with the Bokken, Well versed in poetry, Strong endurance (Kuno is the finest, most skilled kendo expert in all of Furinkan High. His weapon, the bokken, a mere wooden sword and Kuno can use it like it was made out of steel. Kuno is well versed in the art of spewing poety at everyone)

Likes: Akane, Ranma/Pigtailed-Girl, Nabiki (From the beginning of the series, Kuno has been constantly pursuing Akane. When he met Ranma, Ranma defeated him, as a girl, and Kuno instantly became intrigued and eventually obsessive with the female Ranma. His relation with Nabiki is purely business. Nabiki is the only one who supplies him with pictures of both Akane and his Pigtailed girl)

Dislikes: Ranma Saotome/Male (One person stands in his path. The male Ranma, whom he shall smit if he can! IF he can!!!)

Name: Sasuke (Last name: I forgot... Help!)

Occupation: Ninja, The house of Kuno's loyal servant/Spy (Sasuke is the house of Kuno's loyal servant/spy. He does all of Kuno's dirty deeds and other necessities which requires some form of danger to life and limb)

Personality: Sneaky, Loyal to the Kunos (Sasuke is extremely loyal to the Kunos)

Ability: Skilled at hiding (Being a ninja and a spy, Sasuke has developed an almost fool proof method of hiding without being detected)

Likes: Akane (Akane was the only one who treated Sasuke like a friend, rather than a servant)

Dislikes: Unknown

Name: Kodachi Kuno

Occupation: Sister of Tatewaki Kuno, Student at an All-girl school (Kodachi is Kuno's younger sister, she goes to an all-girls school, but she rather be with Ranma)

Personality: Demented... (Just like Kuno, Kodachi is too much a handful to write her personality... Yeeessh!)

Ability: Gymnastic Martial Arts, good knowledge on Poisons, Paralyzing potions and other forms of potions (Kodachi is the most skilled martial arts gymnist around, only because she ckeats at everything. Including love! She uses poisons and potions to help get what she wants)

Likes: Ranma-sama/darling (Kodachi has only one thing she likes... or rather she's obsessed over, Ranma. After saving her from a fall, Kodachi instantly fell in love with Ranma. One could say she'll love Ranma to bits! Literally!!!)

Dislikes: Akane (Her only rival to Ranma, who she'll gladly deal with, except for Ranma's constant inteference)

Name: Happosai

Occupation: Leacher, Panty thief, Martial Artist expert (Since the beginning of his training, Happosai has been a pervert, leacher and a thief. Stealing anything from food to female under garments. The only thing that keeps Happosai from getting himself killed is his increadible martial arts skill. None can compare to his skills except for his rival and old... friend??? Cologne)

Personality: Leacherous, Cunning (Happosai is a leacher to the first degree. Groppling girls, being a peeping tom, stealing panties and other sick... sick... sick activities. He's also increadibly cunning and deceptive to everyone, always working for things to go his way)

Ability: An increadible/powerful Martial Artist (Happosai's skills and abilities knows to bound. He's an escape master, a master of chi, and many other skills he picked up during his training. All his skills he probably learn from his leacherous ways and mistakes)

Likes: Cute girls, Panties... bras... cute girl's undergarment in general, Akane, Ranma-female... etc. (Basically, anything that involves a cute girl with bust and body, Happosai will love)

Dislikes: Ranma-male (Ranma is the only one who has constantly foiled his schemes and his tricks of stealing girl's under garments. Ranma is the only one who can also 50% of the time beat Happosai in a fighting)

Name: Moose / Mu-mu, the duck

Occupation: Servant/Waiter at the Neko Cafe (Moose doesn't have much of a life. He stays at the Neko-cafe, he works as a waiter and he chases after Shampoo, and on the occation fight anyone for Shampoo's hand)

Personality: Devoted lover to Shampoo, EXTREMELY Determined & Dedicated (Moose loves Shampoo to death, literally. If he could die in Shampoo's place, he would. Moose is also extremely determined. Nothing stops Moose short of a knock-out when his love for Shampoo is on the line)

Ability: Hidden weapons expert, Strong endurance, Fell into the Spring of Drowned Duck (Moose is master at the art of hidden weapons. He can hide anything from a long staff to double-edged swords without poking or stabbing himself. Moose's strong endurance is fueled by his determination and his dedication to Shampoo. Basically, if Shampoo's life is on the line, it'll take an army to take Moose down, and he'll take nearly all of them with him. Falling into the spring of drowned duck, Moose changes into a white duck with glasses. However, even transforming into a duck, Moose can still hide things amoung his feathers like daggers and small knives)

Likes: Shampoo (Moose loves Shampoo, and nothing else!)

Dislikes: Anyone who dares mess with Shampoo or steals her heart, Ranma (Moose is extremely protective of Shampoo. He hates Ranma with a vengence, only because Shampoo loves Ranma and not him)
