Well, I like him cuz he at first seemed like this really neato bad
guy, with a cool voice (I always make sure guys have good voices!). I always
like bad guys more for some reason, so that sorta helped! Then he goes
from Lina's enemy and completely surprises everyone and goes and let's
her escape. I think he is kinda mysterious, cuz at first he always had
that cloak aroud his face. I remember I asked my best good friend (SVenus15@aol.com)
what was up with the rocks on his face. She just told me to watch and find
out, and I thought it was pretty cool about...well whatever. Ohki, anyways,
He is kinda attractive (4 an anime character), ya know, in his own little
way. Quite franquely, I like him better with the rocky skin :) He can also
keep his temper down pretty easily, but with Lina around, I imagine it's
*kinda* hard. I also like how he is good at swordsman ship, and magic.
(All good anime guys are either good with a sword or magic *i.e. Hotohori!*
but Zelgadis is both in one!). Ohki, all in all, I just think he is great!
He is pretty much the only reason why I watch slayers, I'm too busy in
my Fushigi Yuugi world :)

Hi! My name's Tiffanie, and I'm in love with this man! Why are all
the handsome,cool guys always 2-D or already taken?! Snifz!! It ain't fair!!
Why do I like him? Well, he ain't perverted, he's cool, he's go the coolest
japanese and english voice! What really got me hooked to him is that since
he WAS an enemy in the beginning, he was sorta the bad boy, but he switched
to "good", in his own rebellious way! Sometimes he's so sweet in his subtle,
quiet way! Oooohh! Gooseflesh! Also, I'm a sucker for guys who protect
a girl, especially when he grabbed at the waist and carried her off, not
letting her exhaust herself(yes yes yes, I KNOW it was probably to not
slow them down....................... Personally, he looks a lot better
in his "deformed way" (as he puts it), but he looks SO much better than
his human form. Also, he can't get flesh wounds, so he won't be a weak,
little person who got wounded and can't fend for himself (I sometimes hate
it when the guys are the ones protected by the girls! That makes the guys
seem so...so...pathetic!! Stick to letting the guys protect you girls!).
Well, that's all I gotta say, but keep that little brat away from him!
He's _ours_!! (Not sayin' he's mine, ya know girls! heh heh! Ah, I think
I'll shut up now before a cult hang, cut, and quarter me!) Keep the peace!

*Even when you can tell he's pretty POed, he almost never seems to
raisehis voice that much. (meaning he's really soft-spoken most of the
time) *He, unlike Lina, can stay calm during just about any situation *He's
got a pretty traumatizing background story. I mean, come on, how'dyou feel
a relative zapped you and made ya look weird and all? *mumbles a curse
about Rezo* *One word description: Undescribable. He plays the villian
well in tape 1, he plays the good guy in tapes 2 and 3, he clearly hates
Rezo's guts, yet he can act so sweet sometimes too. Okay, maybe "versatile"
is a better one word description. *Totally wicked kewl magic!

Hello people of Earth! I'm the Space Pirate Zel-ko and guess what,
I LOVE ZELGADIS GRAYWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, I know, big surprise
but LOOK at the guy! His eyes, the funky hairdo, those clothes, that skin,
(sighs, turns into SD mode). Oh, where was I? What do I see over there,
hm, looks kinda familier.
AAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! My crew is watching Slayers
without me AGAIN! (revs up a Ra Tilt) Oh well, if I did that, I might destroy
the tape. N E Ways Zelgadis is PERFECT in everyway and it's so hard to
find a man like him the universe. But don't worry, he'll be single soon
(a very evil grin appears on face as Amelia's voice is heard).
Yes! Yes! Yes! I LOVE him! He's the most outrageous (and sexy, did I
mention sexy?) character in the Slayers! All I ask is that !*#&@^%

| Zelgadis is a powerful shamanist sorcerer who was
transformed into a chimera by his grandfather/great-grandfather, Rezo the
Red Priest. He's rather shy about his looks, and prefers to travel in concealing
clothing and avoiding large cities. He can, and will, defend himself fairly
well: he's a decent swordsman and cannot be cut by conventional swords
himself, due to his rock-like skin.
Although he started out as an adversary, Zel has become a valuable member of the Slayers team, which is led by the outspoken Lina Inverse. Unfortunately, this team also includes Amelia, a squeaky little brat with a major crush on our Zel. You won't find many pictures of Amelia here for that very reason. The only reason I have any pictures of her at all is because I couldn't crop her out without slicing off a bit of Zel. Ouch! |
