Dragon Ash are kind of a wierd group, and its hard to define what type of music they do. Some of their stuff is straight up hiphop, some of its heavy metal, sometimes its even pop, or ska. They know what they are doing though, so it always seems to work out right whatever it is. There are 4 members - Kenji, Bots, Ikuzone and Makoto. They have released quite a few albums, but if you want more hiphop then, "Viva La Revolution" is the best one to go for. Not that it is all hiphop, as only about half of it is (at the very most!), but on that album there are more tracks that have a more pure hiphop vibe to them. "Communication" is one of the best tracks, and is unmisseable. One of the best known tracks seems to be "grateful days" which features Zeebra. The Lily of the Valley album is a bit more guitarish, but is good if you dont mind that. The standout track is probably "Deep Impact". deep impact mp3 grateful days mp3 |
