Pokemon codes (Red and Blue)![]() This one is cool and kind of wierd. Use it at the start of the game, and when Profesor Oak (or Okido as I like to call him) offers you a pokemon when you look at it instead of Charmander, you will see Mew. Oak being such a pokemon expert still says "so you want the fire pokemon then?". The only down side is that when you fight Gary, his attacks keep saying "error" on the end of them, but it doesnt affect the game in any other way, and you can always trade it and then start again and trade back. Mew doesnt have particularly good attacks, but it seems to be able to learn every single HM or TM going. ![]() 0115D8CF Just because you are using a cheat code doesnt mean you should be lazy and not rear your pokemon from a youngster, otherwise that goes against the spirit of being a Pokemon master. For that reason I recommend using this cheat while you are near the beginning of the game (like the grass near Viridian city or Viridian Forest). That way you can have the joy of raising a little mew into adulthood like a real Pokemon trainer. When you use this code, the wild mew will look more like a pile of messed up graphics, but when you catch it it will be fine. You may need a powerfull ball to catch it though. ![]() 0148D8CF A lot of people might be thinking "so what, who cares about Jynx?", but I think this is a good code. It means that you get to choose your own name for it (although I think Lola is quite a good name for it anyway). For comic purposes you can name your Jynx after someone you know, or even yourself. Also if you use it at the right location you get the joy of training it from a low level. Jynx can be a really good pokemon if you let it learn the right moves. It gets "lovely kiss" very early on, which is a very usefull technique, and it learns Ice punch later on which is particularly usefull if you want to fight a dragon. ![]() 0D5ADC5E I havent tested this on the yellow version yet, but it definately works on red and blue, and you can trade it to yellow. It doesn't have to be Pikachu that you do it to, but lets face it, the main reason for this cheat is so that you can play Pikachu's Beach. ![]() 091AE843 This is for people who are too rubbish to earn their badges and who dont really like Pokemon! |
