shopping trolley graveyard
Here are screen shots from my student film "shopping trolley graveyard". It was a sort of sketch show. The sketches included a pair of drug pushers selling sugary sweets, an incredibly stupid martial arts teacher, an undead stand up comedienne who tells very old jokes about ghosts, and a girl with an obsession with Velma from Scooby Doo.

Also we had a skit where my friend went round town in a wedding dress asking people to marry her so she can get a visa. We filmed peoples genuine reactions with hilarious consequences.

girl obsessed with velma scene:

my hero is velma from scooby doo The girl is sitting in a chair talking straight to the camera, occasionally sipping a cup of tea in a "wispa" mug.

"My hero is Velma from Scooby Doo. I think she's really cool and has great dress sense. I like to go round my house looking for clues and solving puzzles. When I was younger I used to make my little brother wear a neckerchief and dress like Fred. But for some reason he always wanted to be Daphne. Nowadays, even though I don’t have the scooby gang with me, I still manage to solve crimes…"
At the end of the video, the Sabrina character is skulking about, and is caught by the girl with the Velma obsession. She pulls at Sabrina's wig, revealing the drug dealer underneath....

Velma girl: "its you, the drug dealer", (pulls out bag of sweets from dealers pocket), "and what's this then?"
Dealer: Drat, and I would have got away with it if it wasn't for you meddling kids.." the girl with the velma obsession finds out Sabrina's true identity its you! the drug dealer!
