tet-chan

despite it being pretty well-known that tetsu IS in fact the probable owner of the nicest personality in laruku (and therefore the one you'd want to talk the most), sometimes he just gets shoved into the background because, well, hyde's always the one making noise. but despite how it looks, tetsu's actually the leader of the band, ne! ^_^ . he's not a pushy, in-your-face leader like yoshiki, but more the..."mom"...type *small wince*. i know, that doesn't sound so great, but it's true. he's the one looking after the laruku family ^_^ (mom=tetsu daughter=hyde son=ken sakura=rebellious teenager yuki=adopted stray cat).

this is the pentultimate pic that i scanned before my scanner decided to die ^^;; . the popular theory is that tet-chan's so HOT that my scanner's fuses blew. the unromantic theory is that my mom turned off the printer while i was scanning that edition of shoxx, and since the printer runs thru the scanner, it somehow screwed everything up *sigh*. anyway. tet-chan's the nice one of laruku *soppy smile*. from reading interviews and stuff, and watching talkshows, i get the feeling that he's one of those really sweet romantic guys...but that some BITCH broke his heart a while ago ^^;; . after all, when someone asked him "what would you say to propose to a girl?" he replied, "i'd rather DIE than get married" *sweatdrop*. but it seems he's a bit less bitter now... cuz i heard on the BBS he's currently dating the vocalist from ELT (mochida kaori). um...okay, about tetsu's music ^_^ . he's the one who writes all the really cute songs! like c'est la vie (has to be one of the cutest songs EVER by laruku *grin*). and the bass lines he writes for everything are...*WOW*. most other bands (xjapan comes to mind) have pretty boring bass lines...like one note played a zillion times over and over ^^;; . tet-chan, on the other hand...well, if you get the chance, turn up the bass on your stereo and listen to 'glass dama' ^_^ . the bass solo is DROOLSOME...but it's even better in the live versions *_* . hm...and take a look at tet-chan's bass, too. it's HUGE. oh ~~ and apart from bass, tet-chan's the main backing vocals. he does all the high bits that you can JUST hear behind hyde...but he's actually got a great voice, ne! ^_^ . mind you, the only time i've ever heard him sing PROPERLY was in that cover version of "love you only" (TOKIO) laruku did on the heavenly vid, but still...*drool*.

apparently the reason that tetsu cut his hair and dyed it back to black was because some girl broke his heart *sigh*. it's a damn pity, cuz i just LOVED tet-chan's look in the old days...ah ~~ long hair, suits, sunnies, hats ^_^ . i'm not so fond of his "sporty" look now...i don't know why...cuz it probably suits his personality more *shrug*. he's STILL decked out solely in designer labels, tho...*aiiieee*. what that man spends on his wardrobe i have NO IDEA, but i'm guessing it'd be the budget of a small country O_o;;
